I love the texture as it seems great for hydration. It feels like it locks in everything I've applied before, creating a protective barrier. ◽Love the overall white packaging The Saem's derma line with its white and blue packaging gives a calming feeling. It makes me feel like my skin will improve just by looking at it. ◽Generous amount Although I haven't had it for long, I've been using it generously morning and night due to dryness. I even apply it to dry areas after the gym when I don't bring my body emulsion. There's still plenty left. I appreciate the generous quantity.
Cons◽No spatula included Using my fingers to scoop out the product every time might lead to hygiene issues. It would be great if they included a spatula. ◽It's heavy In the positive points, I mentioned it locks in moisture well, but that's because it's heavy. While it might suit those with dry skin like me, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin.

First off, this product absorbs well! I was worried because the texture seemed thick, but it applies thinly and smoothly, which is great! It's so hydrating! Lately, I've only been using toner and this, and even though it's winter, I haven't felt dry at all! Maybe because it's so moisturizing, my skin feels smooth in the morning too. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but my acne scars have faded a bit and my blemishes seem to have decreased! I've heard that redness from acne scars can fade if you keep your skin well-hydrated, so I liked that aspect.
ConsI used a different cream in the morning so it wasn't an issue, but the texture is a bit heavy, so it might be a bit much to apply before makeup in the morning. It's a bit rich! When I woke up in the morning, my U-zone felt smooth, but my T-zone was quite oily. There's no spatula included, unfortunately. I wish they'd include one for hygiene purposes. I've seen other reviews mentioning a lot of blemishes, but I didn't really experience any. If anything, they seemed to decrease?

The reason? Its hydration power is truly impressive! The cream's texture isn't as thick as you might expect. However, the moment you apply it to your face, it turns white like an ointment and then absorbs into the skin! Compared to other products, it's less dense than Atopalm Real Barrier's formula, but it offers similar levels of moisture. It applies like an ointment and while it doesn't absorb exceptionally fast, it doesn't feel sticky or leave residue. Just be careful not to over-apply, as it might feel a bit heavy.
ConsThe scent is reminiscent of ointment. It's not exactly pleasant, but it's not off-putting either, so I continue using it. Unfortunately, the product doesn't come with a spatula, which isn't very hygienic. The packaging is surprisingly large but not heavy, leaving me wondering why they made it so big.
TipFor those who find winter skincare routines tedious, you can simply apply toner followed by this cream without worrying about dryness! While I don't have extremely dry skin, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly moisturized. After application, it forms a slight protective layer on the skin!

Before using this product, I tried a sample along with the Derma Plan Soothing Treatment. I was worried that shea butter might not suit my extremely sensitive and oily skin, but surprisingly, it wasn't greasy and didn't feel heavy when applied. I was considering whether to buy it when I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester, so I'm glad I can use it this winter! The best thing about this product is definitely the ingredients! My skin is extremely oily, sensitive, and prone to seborrheic dermatitis. Even slightly rich products or those with less-than-ideal ingredients can cause blemishes or itching. However, this product didn't cause any blemishes even with continued use! I usually avoid applying creams around my nose and butterfly zone due to excess oil and frequent milia, but this product didn't cause any major issues. The Derma Plan's proprietary DermaMax Formula, a blend of 7 plant-based ingredients, seems very gentle and has a great soothing effect. I felt a significant calming effect when using the Soothing Treatment as well. The inclusion of panthenol and ceramides greatly enhances skin barrier strengthening and moisturizing effects. I also appreciated that it's a slightly acidic product. These days, many slightly acidic products are available, which really help strengthen the skin barrier. After cleansing with a slightly acidic foam cleanser, I skip all toner steps and only apply this product in the evening for hydration. It feels like it's completely absorbed into the skin. Despite containing shea butter, which I expected to make the texture heavy, it surprisingly applies lightly. After application, the skin has a slight glow as if it's been coated. I still apply it sparingly on oily areas like the nose, sides of the nose, and forehead, layering it multiple times instead. I heard somewhere that moisturizers should be applied every 4 hours for optimal hydration. I applied a bit more on the dry, rash-like area under my chin, and it significantly calmed the flaking skin. The next best thing is its moisturizing power and hydration! With ingredients great for hydration like panthenol, rose callus culture extract, ceramides, and shea butter, it's perfect for oily skin in the dead of winter. After use, the skin has a slight glow and feels moisturized without being sticky. It might be a bit oily for summer, but in winter when my skin gets very dry after washing, I apply more of this cream around my jawline where I get some flaking. However, it might feel a bit light for those with dry skin. Despite being a night cream, it applies more lightly than the Etude Soon Jung cream I used to use. The Etude cream would cause immediate blemishes if I applied too much. So lately, I've switched to using this The Saem cream. Lastly, the price is great! These days, most moisturizers cost around 30-40,000 won, but this one is reasonably priced at 22,000 won! You can even get it for under 20,000 won when it's on sale! You don't need to use expensive brand cosmetics when road shop products have good ingredients and affordable prices. I think I'll keep using road shop cosmetics from now on!
ConsTo be honest, there's not much to dislike about this product. If I had to pick something, I prefer tube-type packaging for skincare products as it's more convenient. Products that you scoop out with your fingers can collect dust and seem less hygienic, so I don't prefer them. It would be great if this came in a tube type!
TipIf you're concerned about milia or redness, or if you have dermatitis, try stopping the use of cotton pads! The milia on my forehead wouldn't go away no matter what I tried, but when I stopped using cotton pads with toner, they all disappeared! After cleansing, I skip toner and apply this cream directly, which is great for hydration and has significantly reduced facial redness. These days, when the cold wind irritates and reddens my face, applying the Soothing Treatment followed by this cream helps calm my skin!

Although it's a night cream, I believe anyone can use it if applied thinly, especially in this harsh winter weather! - There aren't many downsides, but if I had to pick one, it's that using too much can make your bangs greasy. Also, while I didn't experience any breakouts, this type of cream can potentially cause blemishes for some people. Lastly, I was disappointed that it comes in a jar without a spatula, which isn't very hygienic. (I ended up using my own spatula to apply it.)
TipSince this is a heavier cream, it's important to build up your hydration layers underneath! I applied multiple layers of Innisfree Blueberry Toner, followed by a light serum, before thinly applying this cream.

I've been using Physiogel, but I was looking for something with simple ingredients that could also provide more nourishment. I'm glad I got the chance to try this! * Scent Even though it's fragrance-free, some products can have a plastic-like smell, but this one barely had any. I'm pregnant and sensitive to scents, but I used this without any issues. * Texture and Hydration The texture is described as a balm, so I expected it to be very thick, but it applies surprisingly smoothly and creates a moisturizing layer on the skin. While it doesn't last until the next day, I could feel the hydration for 4-5 hours. * Price It seems affordable for the amount you get. I think it offers good value for money. Plus, the container has an opening that allows you to scrape out every last bit. * The packaging design is clean and simple, and the plastic material makes it lightweight, which is nice. * Ingredients It contains glycerin and panthenol, which are great for dry skin, and it doesn't have any harmful ingredients, so I feel safe using it.
Cons* It doesn't come with a spatula, which might not be very hygienic. I recommend using one you already have. * It's a bit on the rich side, so I only applied it generously at night. If you use it in the morning, it might take some time to absorb.
Tip* If you want to wake up with super hydrated skin, apply this balm and then after 5 minutes, pat a few drops of face oil on top. This will keep your skin moisturized until you wake up!

It's substantial yet light, making it suitable for various skin types. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I often feel dry if a product is too oily without enough hydration. However, this product felt light on application and absorbed well, making it comfortable for daily use. • The finish is light and velvety smooth, making it perfect as a base for sunscreen or makeup. Unlike runny products that can cause pilling, this one has minimal oil content, which I appreciated.
ConsCons: • The lack of a spatula raises hygiene concerns. • While the balanced oil and moisture content is good, it might be too middle-of-the-road for some. Those with dry skin might find it insufficient, while those with oily skin might consider it too rich. • The product feels more like a balm than a hydration-focused cream. I noticed some texture issues, almost like tiny bumps forming when applied.
TipI also felt the product lacked sufficient hydration, so in the evenings, I layered a lighter textured cream on top. Being a gentle product, it should pair well with other skincare items. It works best when used in the morning before applying makeup.

Here's my review: First, let me mention that I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin. Being combination dehydrated, I dislike lightweight products, but I'm not fond of overly rich ones either. This product, however, hit the sweet spot for me! My skin is quite sensitive, and it usually reacts badly to products with poor ingredients. But with this one, I didn't experience any blemishes, itching, or irritation. The texture is heavier than expected, making it perfect for winter use. Yet, it's not sticky, so I didn't have to worry about it clinging to my hair or pillow. While it's not exactly lightweight or fresh, it maintains hydration for a long time without drying out quickly. On lazy skincare days, I found that just applying toner followed by this cream was sufficient for me. This cream is ideal for the dry winter months. I'd recommend it for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin types.
ConsDue to its somewhat rich texture, you don't need to apply it generously. Even a small amount provided enough hydration for my combination dehydrated skin. Because of this, I'd suggest that those with oily skin test it out before purchasing. One slight disappointment is the lack of a spatula. Since it comes in a jar, having a spatula would be more hygienic, so that's a minor drawback.
TipI recommend applying small amounts multiple times rather than slathering it on all at once. Also, in my experience, it works better when applied before bed at night rather than in the morning.

While not extremely sensitive, I do sometimes get blemishes when using incompatible cosmetics. Here's my review after using it for 4 evenings as part of The Hwahae Testers program! 🎄 Hydration True to its name, the texture is between a balm and a cream - perfect for winter use. I applied it as the final step in my skincare routine like a moisturizer. In the morning, it felt like there was a hydrating film on my skin, and after cleansing, there was no tightness at all, indicating excellent moisturizing properties! 🎄 Gentleness While I don't have super sensitive skin and generally don't react to most cosmetics, I once had a terrible reaction to a certain orange cream. So, I'm cautious about products that cause itching or stinging. This product, however, felt completely neutral on my skin! Even with a few blemishes on my chin, there was no stinging sensation when applied, which made it feel very gentle. (No new blemishes appeared during the 4 nights of use) 🎄 Fragrance-free I prefer fragrance-free skincare products and don't even like natural oils for scent. This product was perfect in that regard! Those sensitive to fragrances might detect a slight medicinal or ointment-like scent, but it's essentially fragrance-free! 🎄 Price and quantity I used it generously for 4 nights. On the first night, I applied too much and it didn't absorb well, so I switched to thinner layers, which provided sufficient hydration for me! With thin application, this cream should last quite a while. While the official price is in the 20,000 won range, you can find it for around 15,000 won on various discount sites! The price-to-quantity ratio seems to be a plus.
Cons🎃 Absorption When applied thinly, I had a feeling that makeup might pill over it. It's like a moisturizing film forms on the skin. I used it as a sleeping pack in the evening, but those with oily skin or excess oil in the T-zone might find it a bit heavy for daytime use under makeup. 🎃 No spatula I used a spare spatula I had at home, but for hygiene reasons, it would be better if the product came with its own spatula! 🎃 Shea butter ingredient For those with oily skin or prone to clogged pores and blemishes due to ineffective exfoliation, the shea butter ingredient might potentially cause blemishes! While the thick balm-like texture provides great hydration, this could be a drawback depending on your skin type.
Tip🎁 Not exactly a pro tip, but after applying plenty to your face in the evening, use any excess on your cuticles, around your nails where the skin might be peeling, and on the back of your hands. Your hands will feel super soft in the morning!

That cream was too rich for me, so it didn't suit my skin. Recently, I tried a sample of this cream and loved it so much that I decided to purchase the full-size product.
ConsThere weren't really any downsides, but if I had to pick something, it would be the lack of a spatula. This makes it difficult to control the amount and unhygienic as you have to scoop it out with your fingers.
TipFor those with oily noses, try applying the cream to your cheeks, chin, and forehead first, then use the remaining amount on your hands for your nose. This helps reduce shine a bit.
