Pros
This was an order I placed to try as a sample before the cream I was using originally got discontinued, and the product just caught my eye at the right time when I was wondering what to buy. Most importantly, it was a bit thick, and I was worried it might be too heavy for my combination skin, but since it's winter and I tend to get dry quickly from the heater at work, it actually worked out great for me. It's perfect as the final step in my skincare routine. Most importantly, it's not a heavy, oily feeling, which I really love. If you pat it in, it doesn't leave a sticky residue, it just absorbs nicely.
Cons
The initial feeling was maybe a bit heavy, but after applying it, I got used to it and it's fine!

Even though the cream has a heavy texture, it didn't cause any blemishes or breakouts. - The moisturizing power is excellent! As the name suggests, it's a very dense and rich cream, but it spreads smoothly on the skin, enveloping it like a protective layer. It also has a lot of oil content, so my skin never feels dry. I'm so grateful to have been selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer! First of all, I really love that the product is made with gentle ingredients that are safe for sensitive skin. It's a cream with a rich, creamy texture that's a bit thick, but it applies smoothly and doesn't drip or run, even if you turn the jar upside down. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly, creating a moisturizing barrier to prevent water loss while keeping the skin feeling hydrated and plump. I find that when I apply it before bed, my skin stays soft and dewy until the next morning. The generous 60ml size is a great value too. I'll definitely repurchase this during sales events! As a combination skin type, I find that just a small amount, about the size of a peanut, is enough to cover my face. The included spatula is also really handy for scooping out just the right amount.

I won the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program and received the product, so I'm leaving a review :) True to its cream-like texture, it has a slightly yogurt-like dense feel, but it applies smoothly and softly! The fragrance-free formula didn't bother me at all, and I'm even happier with the good ingredients! It provides good moisture and doesn't leave a tight feeling. I think it's a pretty decent product!
Cons
I like products that I can use alone without the hassle of layering, but this one is not recommended for solo use. I'd suggest using it after a toner or pad. The finish seems to have a bit of an oily feel and isn't completely matte.

I purchased this product because it is part of The Face Shop's derma care line, which I trust. The packaging with its white and green lettering gives a very pharmaceutical-like feel. The texture is a thick, creamy white. When my face feels too dry and tight, applying this product feels so good, and I've been using it well during this transitional weather period. My sensitive, acne-prone high school sibling also uses this product well!! Even after using it for about 3 months, there's still a lot left, so it seems like a generous amount!
