At the time, the ingredients like jojoba oil (which now unfortunately aggravates my folliculitis) and centella asiatica seemed suitable. I also thought it was free of harmful ingredients (I must have checked too hastily). However, when I applied it to my face, it caused a burning sensation and made my skin feel extremely dry.
ConsI've written all the positive points under the 'good' section because there were only disappointing aspects to mention. Reluctant to waste the product, I tried applying it to my legs, but it caused itching and breakouts. It's the first time a product has been less compatible with my body than my face. This experience made me realize it's better to avoid products with too many ingredients.

Being an intensive cream, I suppose it would provide better hydration than just a regular madecassoside cream...?
ConsI bought this hoping for more hydration, but the moisturizing power is truly awful. The feel is even worse than the regular madecassoside cream. It seems really subpar for the price. After using this, my skin cracked, flaked, and went haywire. Of course, it might be partly because I have extremely dry skin... sigh.

Perhaps it's because I only used a sample...
ConsI suffered for two weeks after using this product. It was so irritating that I thought it might be normal, as some reviews suggested. But then my face broke out in red blemishes, and I struggled a lot trying to calm them down. This was the first time I've ever had such a reaction on my skin, which was quite shocking.

What I liked most was that it wasn't as rich as I expected, and I barely felt any oiliness. It truly felt like the product was absorbing completely into my skin. It doesn't leave much residue on my hands, so there's no unpleasant sticky feeling. (Usually, after applying emulsions or creams, your palms and fingers feel slippery, right?) The tube packaging allows for clean dispensing, and the fragrance-free formula is a great selling point. It's perfect for those who are sensitive to scents. I think this product is worth recommending since it has improved ingredients compared to the original Madecassoside Cream.
ConsFor some reason, I developed blemishes on my forehead just 2-3 days after using this product. Only on my forehead... There was no itching or redness, but my skin had a slightly raised, hive-like texture. The skin surface looked uneven enough to be noticeable in certain lighting. Since this was the only new product I introduced, it must be the cause. The issue subsided soon after I stopped using it, so it wasn't a major problem, but it seems it didn't suit me well. It's strange because my skin sensitivity is about a 1 out of 10, meaning I'm not sensitive at all ㅠ... Also, it's a bit difficult to use this product alone. While I appreciated its light texture, it might be too light for winter and would need to be paired with other products. It feels more like a hydrating moisturizer. Personally, I think this would be better for oily skin types rather than dry skin, due to its lightweight and less oily formula. I couldn't use it for long because of the blemish issue, so it's hard to say definitively, but I didn't notice any skin improvement or soothing effects.

I'd love to use it again next summer.
ConsHere's a review from The Hwahae Testers: Given its thin consistency, the opening is too large, causing me to dispense too much product every time. The size of the opening is disappointing. While it's easy to use generously, there's no larger size available. After applying makeup, my skin felt extremely dry. Even after reapplying three times (using too much due to poor dispensing), my skin still felt painfully tight. While it may vary depending on daily skin condition, I was very disappointed after this experience. It didn't help improve the redness or periodic dead skin cells around my mouth, above and below my lips, and on my chin where I had blemishes.
TipI applied it generously to my neck both morning and evening. It absorbs without stickiness, unlike body emulsions or creams, so I didn't feel any discomfort even while sleeping. I used to be bothered by small sebum-like bumps on my neck, but they disappeared miraculously after this unintentional treatment! I thought it was a type of keratosis pilaris, but anyway, I'm pleased with the results.

I have super sensitive skin, so I only use gentle products. I've been using E*de's pure line, but I switched just the last step cream to this one. First off, its soothing effect is great! It seems definitely better than other creams. I often get redness on my face, but it all calmed down in just a couple of days. It has a slight Madecassol scent, which I found pleasant. It feels like applying medicine and getting better, you know? The ingredients are also gentle, so it suited my sensitive skin well. I'm so happy that it didn't cause any blemishes!
ConsMaybe because I have dry skin, but it feels a bit drying when used alone. That's why I took off one star. Additional note: If you apply it too thickly, it can cause blemishes. It seems you need to apply just the right amount.
