My under-eye area became extremely sensitive due to wearing masks. No cream seemed to absorb well, everything pilled, and my skin felt tight - it was a mess. I had this cream from A'pieu that I bought on sale a while back, so I thought, 'What's the harm in trying?' To my surprise, when I woke up the next day, my skin bumps had calmed down, there was no tightness, and it felt amazing. This is what prompted me to write this review. ◈ Great as a makeup base. No pilling. The texture is just right - not too heavy, not too light. ◈ Absorbs beautifully. The application feels so satisfying. ◈ Fragrance-free ◈ Great value for money. A'pieu is known for this, right? I got two of these for just 10,000 won. The saying 'You get what you pay for' is outdated. It's affordable and currently the only cream I can use. ◈ Texture: It's like sorbet. When you press it, it melts like water. Anyway, it's a formula that absorbs well with great hydration. (For reference, creams that didn't work for me and pilled include Rovectin Concentrate, Dr.G Red Blemish, Dr.G Activator, and Aestura Atobarrier Cream)
Cons◈ I didn't reach for it much until I needed soothing. As I have oily skin, I was biased thinking it might feel a bit heavy. My first impression wasn't great, but I discovered its benefits after using it several times. ◈ While it's fragrance-free, there's a slight medicinal scent, but it's not too noticeable. ◈ Need to control the amount well. It might feel heavy if you apply too much.
TipIf you control the amount well and apply it before makeup, even dry foundation goes on smoothly. It's a must-have for the fall-winter transition. Likely suitable for all skin types.

I initially used this cream, tried others, then repurchased it. Its soothing effect is outstanding, and day by day, my skin feels smoother! I buy the Madecassoside Cream for summer and this Intensive Cream for seasonal changes - perfect for my dehydrated skin. It absorbs incredibly fast, so even those with oily skin might find it suitable for winter use when skin tends to dry out. You can apply a thin layer in the morning without it feeling heavy. Despite being called 'Intensive', it's not heavy at all! Yet its hydrating power is top-notch! When I used to apply Clio's Founwear Pact, I'd get dead skin cells around my nose, but that's gone now. I've seen amazing results in calming redness. I applied it generously before bed, and my skin looked much calmer in the morning.
ConsThe scent is slightly reminiscent of ointment. It's not overpowering, but every time I apply it, it feels like I'm putting on a medicinal cream.

The product has a familiar scent, reminiscent of madecassol. My skin was extremely dry, so I've tried countless products. Without much expectation, I applied a thin layer before bed. The next morning, unlike with other products, my face felt moisturized with no deep dryness. Although I'm writing this review as a Hwahae Tester, this is a product I'd gladly purchase with my own money. For those struggling with dryness, using this cream as a moisturizer could potentially solve your deep dryness concerns.
ConsWhile it claims to be a functional cosmetic for wrinkle improvement and brightening, I didn't notice any remarkable effects. It might work for prevention, but I don't think it's a product that offers dramatic improvements. The distinctive madecassoside scent makes it feel more like applying medicine than skincare. Personally, I didn't mind it, but some people might find it unpleasant.
TipApplying a slightly thicker layer can result in noticeably more hydrated skin the next morning.
