  Pros

  I stopped by Olive Young when my skin was extremely dry, having heard good things about Skin&Lab products. I decided to test the first product I saw. After applying it randomly, I noticed later that my redness had completely disappeared. I wanted to purchase it but couldn't remember the product name, so I ended up buying both the Relief Balm and Intensive Cream. The balm type has a very rich texture, making it perfect for windy, easily-drying winter weather. Thanks to the Relief Balm, this winter I was able to settle on a product instead of constantly switching. I highly recommend this to those with dry or extremely dry skin types.

  Cons

  On areas that don't typically feel dry like my nose, chin, and forehead, if I didn't control the amount well, it could lead to excess oil and a slightly heavy feeling, occasionally causing blemishes. Being a balm type, it's quite rich and takes time to absorb. There's a sticky feeling until it's fully absorbed.

  Tip

  With the current windy and dry weather, I found it great to apply only on dry areas in the morning. It absorbs well by the time I'm out. At night, I applied it first and then put on a mask. After removing the mask, I finished with the Intensive Cream. This routine helped me feel less dry when I woke up in the morning.

  Pros

  Using just a tiny amount mixed with a light moisturizer is super helpful when your skin needs extra hydration. It's also great as a lip balm alternative at night, without feeling as heavy as petroleum jelly.

  Cons

  Even when mixed in small amounts, those with oily skin might find it a bit too rich.

  Tip

  Every winter, I struggle with painful cracks at the corners of my mouth and on my lips. Nothing worked - not lip balms, prescription creams, or even antibiotic ointments. On a whim, I applied this product before bed, and it was a game-changer! It's truly a lifesaver. I used to bleed and have trouble eating due to constantly reopening cracks, but this has become my holy grail product.

  When I applied this during times of deep dryness, it didn't necessarily improve the situation on its own, but it did leave a protective coating feeling. After applying a hydrating ampoule or essence, it seemed to lock in the moisture. It was gentle on my skin.

  Cons

  Given its thick balm-like texture, rather than feeling fresh, it sits on the skin's surface with a noticeable thickness. This can make your skin feel somewhat suffocated.

  I recommend using this as the final step in your routine, like a hydrating seal to lock everything in.

  It has a rich, creamy texture that's not too runny and feels like Vaseline. Seems perfect for those with dry skin!

  Cons

  People with oily skin might find it heavy and it could lead to excess oil production. There's no fragrance, so it has a bit of a raw, unscented product smell - they probably don't use any perfumes at all.
