  For sensitive, oily skin and rosacea-prone complexions: This balm has a slightly bouncy texture with a soft lavender hue. When applied, it feels like a thin film is forming, but it absorbs well into the skin. The hydration power is excellent. It keeps my skin from getting dry during the winter months! I love that it's gentle and non-irritating due to its mild formulation.

  Cons

  The price point for 50ml is a bit high. I got it on a welcome deal, so it was cheaper, but unless there's a special promotion, it's a bit pricey for a regular purchase.

  Pros

  Absorbs well and keeps skin hydrated for a long time. Apply it to hands and heels before bed, and you'll wake up with dead skin cells completely gone. It provides excellent moisture, perfect for winter use.

  Cons

  If you use too much, it takes longer to absorb, so it's better to apply small amounts in layers. The only downside is the high price.

  Tip

  For an extra treat, apply a generous amount to your hands before bed and wear cotton gloves overnight. You'll wake up to incredibly soft and moisturized hands in the morning.

  My skin type is combination-dry with occasional blemishes - generally slightly dry but manageable. I initially bought just the cream, loved it, and then purchased the cream+balm set during an official store promotion. The cream, needless to say, works wonders for me. For the balm, I initially applied it all over my face at night but didn't notice much effect. Now, I use it as a spot treatment when a pimple or two pops up, applying it thickly on those areas. I've actually seen visible improvement in reducing blemishes. Also, after using a face mask, I apply it all over as a finishing step - it helps maintain the mask's hydration and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I don't use it daily, but about once a week after masking, and as a spot treatment when blemishes appear.

  Cons

  First off, the texture is similar to an ointment... The initial feeling when applied is a bit odd. When used alone like a regular cream, there's a distinct scent - kind of medicinal? This isn't noticeable when used as a spot treatment though. The packaging is really underwhelming, just a cheap-looking plastic container. While it's a bit pricey, it's not unaffordable for me as a working professional.

  Tip

  I've mentioned the positives in the 'good' section... You might find it helpful to try using it as I've described.

  For someone with extremely dry skin like me, this product was a real game-changer. The texture feels like you're applying melted butter directly to your face - it's super rich.   As I've gotten older, no matter how many face masks or nose strips I use... When I apply cushion foundation, by afternoon my nose is covered in blackheads, my pores look clogged, and I'd get sad seeing white flakes and cracks on my chin and cheeks. At first, I thought it might be the cushion's fault, so I tried several different products, but to no avail. However, after using this product, those worries truly vanished. I was concerned that being a night cream, it might feel sticky like Vaseline, but it wasn't sticky at all and didn't feel heavy on my face.

  Cons

  The amount is small compared to the price, and it's a shame that there's no lid to store the spatula, so you have to keep it separately.

  Tip

  I apply it twice - before bed and before makeup - and I can definitely feel my skin becoming calmer.
