  Pros

  I like it! It's gentle, and although it feels a bit oily at first, once you apply sunscreen over it, it somehow finishes with a matte feel - perhaps due to its primer-like function. This effect becomes more noticeable as time passes.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad about it. It's just a bit oily at first, and the texture doesn't absorb quite as well as I'd hoped...

  Pros

  I was intrigued when I heard this was a must-have item that every makeup artist owns! So I bought it from Hwahae. I wasn't expecting any samples, but look at the sample size... 75ml for the full-size product, and 40 x 2ml samples. The sample amount is actually more than the full-size product, which made me really happy! Buying from Hwahae is already cheaper, but with more samples than the actual product, it's about 1/4 the price of other places. Texture: It's rich. You need to apply a thin layer before makeup. It feels more like a cream than an emulsion. Oil and moisture balance: I felt more oil than hydration. As someone with dry skin, I liked it. Scent: Absolutely love it. How to describe it... a calming scent? It reminds me of cypress trees. I love the scent so much that I keep sniffing my hands after applying it. Most importantly, does it work well with makeup?: It was better than usual, but I didn't notice a huge difference. I think there would be a bigger difference if you apply it in the morning after doing your skincare routine the night before. Unlike other emulsions that feel tight, this one feels smooth and gives your skin a glow. But it doesn't cause pilling.

  Cons

  As expected, the primer function is a bit lacking. I tried applying a generous amount before bed, and while it didn't cause breakouts, if you apply too much, your face becomes extremely shiny.

  Tip

  You need to apply only a very small amount in a thin layer before makeup.

  Pros

  Truly amazing at holding makeup in place. It works as a primer and moisturizer in one. You could even skip your skincare routine and just apply this before foundation. It effortlessly creates that coveted Inner Glow makeup look! That's why I always used this for special events and TV appearances.

  Cons

  However, a few hours after application, tiny blemishes start to appear. You might have to deal with bumpy skin for a few days. It's extremely rich and can be quite irritating.

  Tip

  Since the blemishes don't disappear quickly with this product, I've decided not to use it again. I'll have to give up on achieving that quick and easy glowing makeup look. If you don't have super sensitive skin, I highly recommend giving this a try!

  The application is incredibly smooth! Turns out it's because of its primer-like function.

  Cons

  Should I say it feels a bit rich? Some people advise against using it in summer... Oh no... I bought a ton from home shopping to try it out. What should I do now?

  Tip

  It absorbs well, so once you apply it, it sinks right in! It would be great to use it like a mask at night before bed.

  It's gentle on the skin and provides excellent hydration. I absolutely recommend it to anyone experiencing dryness. It's been my holy grail for about 3 years now, using it consistently.

  I have combination dehydrated skin, but my friend with oily skin said it was too rich for her. So, I wouldn't recommend it for those with super oily skin.

  I bought several of these in Europe, and at first I thought it was just a regular moisturizer, but it turns out it has so many functions! It's said to work as an emulsion, essence, cream, and primer all in one. I tried using it as a primer before makeup, and it's so good that I've been using it that way every day now! My foundation goes on smoothly, it evens out dead skin cells, and I'm really satisfied with how my makeup looks. Plus, it's rich in nourishment, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin like me! When I apply it generously before bed, I wake up with soft skin the next morning. I absolutely recommend this for people with dry skin! (Not recommended for acne-prone skin though!) It's great as both a pre-makeup step and a nourishing cream.

  I wouldn't really recommend this for those with oily skin due to its rich texture... I also stop using it when my skin is breaking out a lot! Recommended for dry, dehydrated skin types! (It's more nourishing than hydrating...)

  Tip

  It's great to apply generously like a mask before bed. Also works well as a primer before makeup.

  As someone with oily skin, I found this great to use before makeup - it really helps the makeup adhere well! I tried it after hearing makeup artists use it, and even my makeup teachers use it. I've been using it consistently and love it so much that I'm recommending it to friends and family!

  Sometimes when my skin produces a lot of oil, this can make it look a bit shiny
