  My makeup instructor recommended this as a basic essence and cream combo. They assured me it's a product that works well for everyone, so I trusted their advice and gave it a try. I'm happy to report that it didn't cause any blemishes at all. What's more, when I apply it before makeup, it absorbs quickly without causing any pilling issues with my foundation.

  Cons

  The packaging reminds me of a tube of antibiotic ointment, so I'm a bit worried it might tear easily. Also, the product comes out quite generously, so you need to be careful and squeeze out just a little bit at a time when using it.

  It's great for a light morning application before makeup without pilling or drying out, and also works well as a rich night mask. I find it even better than hand cream for dry hands. For reference, I have dry skin.

  While the cream is quite rich, its consistency is rather thin, so you need to be careful with the amount you use.

  I bought this cream because it's famous among makeup artists for use before applying makeup. It seems to slightly brighten the complexion too. It's not greasy, moisturizes well, and doesn't cause pilling, making it perfect to use before makeup. The texture is smooth and it absorbs well, which is even better. I have super sensitive skin, but I'm using it without any blemishes and I'm very satisfied. Opinions seem to be divided on the packaging, but personally, I like this type of case because I can squeeze out every last bit efficiently.

  When first opening, only peel off half of the seal covering the opening. If you're not careful, a large amount might squirt out all at once in the beginning.

  Somehow I'm on my second bottle already. It doesn't cause my makeup to pill and it's easy to use. The scent isn't as strong as I expected, so it's not off-putting.

  Sometimes it doesn't fully address my deep dryness, leaving my face feeling tight. Apart from that, it's just okay.
