I've been using this product every day for the past 5 years - it's my absolute favorite! If you dislike sticky textures, this might not be for you. For my desert-dry skin, though, it's a blessing in disguise! - ry********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 4, 2025
Embryolisse is a French skincare brand renowned for products developed by dermatologists. Their star product, Lait-Crème Concentré, is my go-to hydration cream. Interestingly, I've heard a famous TV shopping host uses it as a primer when makeup doesn't sit well in the morning. Others use it as a mask or even a makeup remover, showcasing its versatility as the brand's flagship multi-functional product. In my experience, Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré seems to work quite well even for combination dehydrated skin. I'm in my fifties and have tried nearly every moisturizer out there over the past 35 years, but this is a product I've purchased multiple times with my own money. Research shows that the Hydra-Serum in the formula helps address deep dryness. Another advantage is that it absorbs well without feeling sticky, making it suitable for summer use. For combination dehydrated skin, which can appear oily on the surface but feel dry underneath, I recommend applying a light hydrating essence or serum first, then finishing with this cream. Be mindful that you might develop blemishes in summer. Consider your options carefully. In winter, when you're not wearing much makeup, try using this instead of oil for a massage when removing your makeup. Follow up by wiping with cleansing water or toner, and it'll feel like you've done a mask treatment. - sy******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2025
My makeup instructor recommended this as a basic essence and cream combo. They assured me it's a product that works well for everyone, so I trusted their advice and gave it a try. I'm happy to report that it didn't cause any blemishes at all. What's more, when I apply it before makeup, it absorbs quickly without causing any pilling issues with my foundation. The packaging reminds me of a tube of antibiotic ointment, so I'm a bit worried it might tear easily. Also, the product comes out quite generously, so you need to be careful and squeeze out just a little bit at a time when using it. - hj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2024
It's fragrance-free and spreads smoothly. Better suited for dry skin rather than very dry skin. It offers good hydration without being greasy, and absorbs quickly into the skin. Unfortunately, it didn't agree with my skin. My cheeks became flushed. The hydration level was also somewhat underwhelming. - jb*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2024
I love the ample hydration it provides. It's great that one product covers multiple functions. The runny texture makes it gush out as soon as you open the lid, which I found inconvenient. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 16, 2024
If you control the amount well, it leaves no residue and makes your skin soft and smooth. It's great to use before makeup or as part of your night care routine. I loved how it provided deep hydration, not just on the surface but deep within the skin. It also didn't feel overly rich or heavy, which was a plus. The aluminum tube is a bit problematic. When you open the cap, the cream oozes out like an ointment, so I ended up wasting more than I actually used. I mainly use it in winter, and if I apply the usual amount of cream, it feels heavy and seems to pill. So I have to apply a very thin layer, which makes it hard to finish one tube in a year. Since it's a large 75ml size, I wish they offered a smaller option too. - bd*****Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsSep 3, 2024
Its lightweight formula isn't sticky, making it perfect to apply before makeup. It doesn't quite tackle deep dryness, so I don't use it during my nighttime skincare routine. - al*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 20, 2024
*****Purchased with my own money***** I tried this famous product for the first time on my mom's recommendation, and I think it was pretty good. Overall, I'm satisfied. 1. Scent: The fragrance wasn't bothersome at all. As someone who immediately remembers and can't use products with unpleasant scents, the fact that I can't recall the smell suggests it was nearly fragrance-free. 2. Texture: It's rich, but not overly heavy, making it suitable for both morning and evening use. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts to even slightly unfavorable ingredients, I experienced no adverse reactions. Even though some ingredients might be listed as potentially problematic, they seem to be used in minimal amounts or in a way that's appropriate for hydration. 3. Usage experience: I generally applied it morning and evening (though I occasionally forgot), and sometimes only on areas needing hydration. When I remembered, I applied it all over. I was satisfied! It left my skin feeling moisturized. The product is also gentle! 1. The richness? Sometimes it felt a bit heavy for nighttime application. However, using a smaller amount on areas needing hydration seemed to work well, so I wouldn't consider this a major drawback. 2. Other than that, I was satisfied with everything else. I think it's a good idea to apply it only to areas that need hydration. In my case, I have combination dehydrated skin with both very dry and oily areas, and applying it to the dry parts seemed to work well! - yo*********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresAug 15, 2024
Absorbs incredibly smoothly, almost like an emulsion. The scent isn't overpowering, making it easy to apply without any discomfort. While the texture is fine and it doesn't cause makeup to separate, it doesn't suit my skin, causing redness and irritation. I bought it because I have dry skin, but it just doesn't work for me. - he*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2024
I can't say there was anything particularly outstanding about it. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I was surprised at how quickly it absorbed right after application. I didn't really feel like it provided exceptional hydration. I've heard it's good to use before makeup, so I'll have to give that a try.
