A hydrating emulsion-type makeup base with a rose scent. The formula feels moisturizing rather than oily. It absorbs quickly, giving the skin a dewy, coated feeling when applied. It pairs well with any foundation. This product is a game-changer, even salvaging foundations that easily break down or wear off poorly. Mixing it with a foundation you're hesitant to throw away can turn it into a decent performer. The natural Inner Glow it creates makes the skin look incredibly beautiful. Even as it wears off, it maintains an overall luminous glow, eliminating the need for touch-ups. As this base focuses on hydration and glow, it's disappointing that it lacks features for pore coverage or complexion correction. For combination dehydrated skin, it works great with matte foundations! You can easily achieve a 'matte but moisturized' makeup look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2024
It absorbs into the skin really well. The scent is a bit strong when applying, but it dissipates quickly, which I found acceptable. When your skin is in really bad shape, using this can help bring it back to life somewhat. When your skin is already in good condition, you might not notice any dramatic improvements from using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2024
Application: It applies like an emulsion, feeling very moisturizing. Absorption: It absorbs quickly into the skin with just a few rolls. Hydration: Can you see in the photo? It creates a water-like barrier, preventing makeup from separating. Usage period: I'm on my first bottle and plan to repurchase. Recommended skin type: Those with dry skin should definitely use this in winter for hydration. It could also work great as a primer in summer. I have oily but dehydrated skin, so I'm satisfied using it for a dewy base before powder. I'm not sure if this caused blemishes, but I noticed a slight increase on days I used it. However, my skin is extremely sensitive... While not wearing makeup is best, that's difficult to do! It's a bit pricey, so I bought it duty-free. I mix a little with my brightening moisturizer as a base, then apply cushion foundation over it. It's absolutely fantastic and a must-have for important days. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2023
It's incredibly hydrating and absorbs well, leaving your skin smooth and supple. While it might not be ideal for hot weather, it's perfect for dry winter days when you want to put extra effort into your makeup routine. It even works well mixed with matte foundations. If you're looking for a hydrating base, this is an excellent product. The downside is that it adds an extra step to your skincare routine. If you're not a fan of lengthy routines, you might find it a bit tedious to apply this after your skincare, followed by sunscreen and foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2021
It's truly moisturizing and absorbs well! I have dry skin, so when I use foundation, it's fine at first, but after a while, it starts to separate on my cheeks. However, when I apply this base after my skincare routine and before foundation, it significantly reduces separation. My skin is extremely dry, and with indoor heating in winter, I can't say it completely prevents separation, but using this base definitely helps. It's also great for touch-ups - I wipe with the base first, then reapply makeup, and it adheres much better. I highly recommend this base for those with dry skin! The price point is a bit high, so it's not something you can use carelessly. Initially, after skincare, I apply the base using my hands and let it absorb. For touch-ups, I use a puff or cotton pad with the base to gently wipe the cheek area before reapplying makeup. For detailed areas like around the nose, I use a cotton swab. This method helps the makeup adhere better and improves longevity!
