Application: It applies like an emulsion, feeling very moisturizing. Absorption: It absorbs quickly into the skin with just a few rolls. Hydration: Can you see in the photo? It creates a water-like barrier, preventing makeup from separating. Usage period: I'm on my first bottle and plan to repurchase. Recommended skin type: Those with dry skin should definitely use this in winter for hydration. It could also work great as a primer in summer. I have oily but dehydrated skin, so I'm satisfied using it for a dewy base before powder. I'm not sure if this caused blemishes, but I noticed a slight increase on days I used it. However, my skin is extremely sensitive... While not wearing makeup is best, that's difficult to do! It's a bit pricey, so I bought it duty-free. I mix a little with my brightening moisturizer as a base, then apply cushion foundation over it. It's absolutely fantastic and a must-have for important days. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 14, 2023
This is truly the ultimate base product. It has all the benefits of a hydrating moisturizer while making any cushion foundation or BB cream apply like a dream. The finish is flawless with no pilling. There's a reason why it's a staple in Cheongdam-dong beauty salons. While it may not seem extraordinary at first glance, it's perfect for dry to combination skin types, preventing deep dryness without any sticky feeling. It's like a hybrid between a moisturizing primer and a cream. The scent is lovely too, and it helps create a smooth, even complexion. The price point is quite steep. It's expensive, even for a high-end product. While everything else about it is great, the limited availability and high cost are definite drawbacks. For best results, apply this as your first layer, then mix it with a high-coverage foundation that tends to be drying for a perfect balance of hydration and coverage. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 29, 2023
It's incredibly hydrating and absorbs well, leaving your skin smooth and supple. While it might not be ideal for hot weather, it's perfect for dry winter days when you want to put extra effort into your makeup routine. It even works well mixed with matte foundations. If you're looking for a hydrating base, this is an excellent product. The downside is that it adds an extra step to your skincare routine. If you're not a fan of lengthy routines, you might find it a bit tedious to apply this after your skincare, followed by sunscreen and foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 26, 2023
I discovered this product through YouTube and it's absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. When mixed with foundation or BB cream, it makes your skin look incredibly moisturized and healthy. The price is extremely high, unfortunately. There are no discounts available at all, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2021
It's incredibly hydrating and the scent is a subtle rose fragrance, not an overpowering one, which I absolutely love. I bought this product without high expectations, but it's so good that I'll probably order the larger size once I finish this one. I thought my skin would feel dry after applying just toner and this, but it's not dry at all. It seems to really even out my complexion. While the product itself is excellent, it feels a bit pricey for the amount you get. I didn't expect much, but this has become my holy grail product... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 20, 2019
After hearing that a famous Cheongdam-dong shop uses this product, I immediately bought it to try. I have combination dehydrated skin with a dry inner layer and oily T-zone. When I applied this product after sunscreen and before foundation, I was thrilled to find that it significantly reduced dryness while maintaining the foundation's adherence. The price is reasonable too, with the 30ml size in the 20,000 won range. Since you don't need to use much per application, I think it will last quite a while. I honestly can't think of any downsides. Though it seems they don't have any offline stores...? Apply it primarily to dry areas before putting on foundation. I focus on applying it around my eyes and mouth, while avoiding the T-zone where I tend to get oily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2019
I bought this along with a foundation brush from Cuchel. Although I have combination skin, I often feel dryness, especially deep dryness. Before using this product, I used Espoir's Skin Smoothing Glowrizer. I know these hydrating bases help with dryness and improve foundation adherence and longevity. Even with a moisturizing foundation, if your skin is dry, it can break down, which isn't good for deep dryness or appearance. Compared to Espoir's Glowrizer, this absorbs into the skin faster. While it's a gel formula, it's a bit richer than Espoir's, which I find better for busy mornings. When my skin barrier is weakened, I tend to get blemishes. Also, it's disappointing that I can't tell how much product is left in the container. Apply it like a primer, focusing on the cheeks and forehead. Use the remaining amount on your nose area for better adherence.
