It's so calming that I only need to use this one. I've been using it for years whenever I get blemishes.
ConsThere's really nothing bad about it. It works well for my normal skin, but those with oily skin might find it a bit rich.

As someone whose skin gets super sensitive during seasonal changes, I alternate between the Anua Heartleaf Ampoule and this Spot Saver Ampoule, depending on my skin's condition. While the Spot Ampoule does soothe, it's more focused on hydration and nourishment, making it perfect for when my skin feels dehydrated. It has a nice viscosity and adheres to the skin with a satisfyingly rich texture. Despite this, it absorbs surprisingly well. I've been using it for a week now, and as a product designed to strengthen the skin barrier, I'm really pleased with how noticeably it's improved my skin's natural resilience.
ConsHowever, it might be too rich for those with oily skin! On the bright side, it absorbs well without pilling, and I haven't noticed any adverse effects like closed comedones. Still, because it can feel a bit heavy, I mainly use it at night. It's a bit much for daily use, unfortunately.

The mugwort mask pack suits me well in almost every aspect - soothing, hydration, absorption, and finish. So I had high hopes when I bought this ampoule, but overall it doesn't seem to agree with my skin. On the bright side, while I'm generally disappointed, the hydration and moisture retention are decent.
ConsIt absorbs quickly, but feels a bit sticky and leaves my skin looking shiny. As time passes, it makes my skin excessively oily. It doesn't have much of a soothing effect on dead skin cells or red blemishes, and instead, it actually caused small bumps to appear.

I only get cystic acne during my period, but I usually have small bumps on my skin. Effectiveness: When I first started using it, my cystic acne noticeably faded! While it didn't completely eliminate my small bumps, it did reduce them slightly. Suitability: It has a light texture that isn't too heavy, making it great for dry skin types in summer. For those with oily skin, it provides just enough moisture, making it perfect for winter use when you need that extra hydration.
ConsOiliness: The product has some oil content, which might cause blemishes for those with oily skin if used in summer. Price: The price is quite steep - 32,000 won for just 50ml. I'm not sure if the effects justify the cost. Long-term effectiveness: While it showed promising results initially, the effectiveness seemed to diminish over time, eventually becoming barely noticeable.
TipThis soothing ampoule is great for oily skin types in winter and dry skin types in summer! Also, it pairs excellently with the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Water Essence. They're often sold together at Olive Young for 30,000 won as a set. I highly recommend trying them together for the best results!

But she used this product without any side effects! Perhaps due to the mugwort, it had a richer texture compared to regular hydrating serums.
ConsI have combination dehydrated skin and tend to get blemishes if there's even a hint of oiliness. This product felt a bit rich for me. I was disappointed by the slightly oily feeling it left on my face after application.
TipIt seems to have a definite soothing effect on blemishes! It worked well on my mother's super sensitive skin. However, it does have a slightly rich feel to it.

I used to love Is'n Tree products and would buy them right away after finishing, but this was a big disappointment. It's the product that let me down the most...! At least their Hyaluronic Acid Toner is still good.
ConsMy blemishes suddenly exploded, and I was so nervous... I bought this product hoping it would calm my skin. It seemed to soothe at first, but the blemishes that should have disappeared within a week just wouldn't leave my face. When I stopped using it for a while, thinking it might be the cause, the blemishes started to subside. So, the conclusion is that it's way too rich. It's perfect for causing a blemish explosion. What's worse, with the COVID-19 situation, wearing a mask creates a humid environment that makes sebum production go crazy. Using this on top of that made my face go haywire. But even without a mask, this product caused blemishes! I know because they stopped when I discontinued use. The container is opaque, so you can't see how much product is left inside.
TipWhen you want to check how much product is left, just turn it upside down and you'll be able to see!

The product has a slightly thicker consistency than water. I've been using it generously since summer, and it's excellent for soothing the skin. Four drops felt a bit insufficient, so I used 5-6 drops. It's more moisturizing than hydrating. Since using this, I've definitely noticed a reduction in redness.
ConsIt seems a bit pricey. It's more moisturizing than hydrating, so it doesn't fully quench the skin's thirst. That's why I've been adding a drop of hyaluronic acid ampoule to it. This combination balances the oil and moisture, making both the inner and outer layers of my skin feel comfortable. However, it's not extremely moisturizing either... it's quite ambiguous. The oiliness that develops later makes my skin feel uncomfortable.

ConsHowever... after a short while, it becomes extremely oily. I especially avoid using it in summer. As the oiliness increases, it tends to cause breakouts. For combination dehydrated skin or those with excess sebum production, this product doesn't seem suitable

My skin is prone to milia and pustules, but after using this ampoule, I've noticed fewer milia. (However, it doesn't magically calm existing acne, especially not effective on pustules.) 2. I have sensitive skin with severe redness, but this product has a soothing effect, so my skin appears less flushed! After application, I can feel my skin becoming more hydrated and moisturized. 3. I'm usually sensitive to fragrances (though I'd tolerate it if it's good for my skin), but I don't feel any aversion when applying this product.
Cons1. After seeing some effects, I got greedy and applied too much, which left my skin feeling oily. It seems I need to carefully control the amount used. (Excessive application might even cause pustular acne to appear.) 2. I think it would be more convenient to use if it came in a regular pump bottle instead of a dropper.
TipI feel that if used consistently with the right amount, this product could have good effects on soothing the skin and improving skin texture.

Even after thoroughly moisturizing and applying base or primer before foundation, it would always look flaky. After receiving this product, I added only the Spot Saver Mugwort Ampoule to my usual evening skincare routine after cleansing. The next day, my makeup looked less patchy! The ampoule is thinner than I expected, but I really liked that it has no scent, so there was no aversion to it. I was also impressed that it absorbs well without feeling sticky after application. I'll decide on repurchasing after using it a bit longer and seeing if it improves my blemishes and dry skin issues.
ConsWhile I'm very satisfied with how it works on my dry nose area, for the rest of my face which is neither dry nor oily but somewhere in between (not sure how to describe it), I feel like there's a slight oiliness when I wake up after using the ampoule at night. So I'm currently using it only on my dry areas :(
