I'm happy that it didn't cause any blemishes on my skin.
ConsI have dry skin, and it doesn't seem to address the deep dryness. Even after applying 2-3 times, I don't feel like it's hydrating my skin deeply. It feels like it's not absorbing well and just sitting on top of my skin. Also, it seems to be causing dead skin cells to build up... It's like it's not managing dead skin cells at all. I've used about half of it, but I don't think it suits me. While it could be different for others, I personally won't be repurchasing this.

So I use this toner with a slightly thicker consistency to even out my skin before makeup and as a skin pack at night. My skin feels noticeably more hydrated, and my makeup doesn't look patchy anymore, which is great!
ConsWhen using it as a pack with cotton pads, the product gets used up too quickly, making it less cost-effective. It doesn't seem to have any exfoliating or soothing effects. My skin recently had a bad reaction, and it's not recovering well with this product.

Just for reference, oil-based products don't suit my face, so I tend to look for really gentle products with high hydration. Hydration: This isn't just a runny toner - you can immediately feel that it's a toner packed with moisture when you apply it! It has a slightly mucus-like texture... not completely, but that's the closest description. It definitely feels like it locks in hydration better than other toners right from the start. I think it's perfect for winter use! Large but not too large: It's slightly viscous, so it doesn't run everywhere, meaning the bottle lasts longer. You know what I mean, right? Toners usually run out quickly, but with this one, you can generously pat it on for that extra hydration. Great ingredients: My skin reacts with blemishes immediately if I use products with bad ingredients. That's why I always carefully check the ingredients on Hwahae and only use products with lots of good ingredients. This toner has great ingredients, which I really love!
ConsThere aren't really any cons... Maybe because my skin is too dry, I feel like dead skin cells build up easily? But this could just be specific to my skin, so test it out as you use it!
TipAs it's a toner, you might not feel a huge effect, but it's worth trying as a product that can provide initial hydration and soothing.

It doesn't suit my skin at all. I have absolutely no intention of repurchasing.
ConsNo matter how much bakuchiol retinol cream I apply, I don't get dead skin cells, but strangely, when I use Torriden products, they appear. I have $300 worth of cosmetics at home, and I'm in the process of weeding out each useless product one by one.

I thought it would have a watery consistency since it's called a 'skin', but it actually had a mucus-like texture. So I think it's a toner that might work better when patted in rather than used as an exfoliating toner! The Dive In products are really gentle, which is great! I have super sensitive skin, and I've tried all the products in the Dive In line, and not a single one disagreed with my skin. It's such a gentle and excellent product!! The hydration level feels just right, and I like that it doesn't drip everywhere due to its thicker consistency. If you're considering buying it, I definitely recommend it!
ConsThere weren't many downsides to this product, but as expected with gentle formulas, its effects are somewhat mild. While the hydration is really noticeable, the dead skin cell removal and soothing effects seem minimal. Still, I think it's the first time I've encountered such a gentle and good product!

I bought the famous Torriden serum at a nearby Olive Young and received the Skin Booster as a gratis gift. At the time, my skin was super sensitive and I often had red blemishes on my face. When I tried the Torriden skin, it had a soothing effect! The texture was like a runny gel, which seemed to help with deep dryness too! I had such a good experience with the free sample that when my previous toner ran out, I bought this one and have been using it ever since. It's suitable for dry skin, has a calming effect, and I'd recommend it to anyone struggling with dehydration! Above all, the ingredients are gentle, so I've never had any breakouts while using this toner!!!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it doesn't seem to be effective for removing dead skin cells. Also, I generally prefer exfoliating toners, so that's about it...
TipWhile it's not an exfoliating toner, it's great to use after an exfoliating toner on days when your skin feels irritated or has redness!!!!

Application: It's wonderfully rich and moisturizing. Absolutely amazing! Hydration: First off, I feel like my oil and moisture balance has greatly improved. It works even better when used with the Dive-In Serum! Scent: It's fragrance-free, but if I had to describe it, it reminds me of a sports drink. I like it! Irritation: There's absolutely none, and it fills my skin with hydration, which I love. Blemishes: I have skin that's prone to breakouts, but my blemishes have significantly reduced! Finish: It feels fresh yet moisturizing, and incredibly lightweight. My skin's oiliness has decreased a lot, and my makeup applies beautifully! Deep dryness: I was worried if it would be okay for oily skin, but it seems to care more for the inner layers than the surface. My deep dryness has really improved! When used with the Dive-In Serum, the effects are maximized. I can see why it's ranked number one! You absolutely must try this. I highly recommend it!
ConsIt doesn't really help with dead skin cells, and the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. I wouldn't particularly recommend it for those with very dry skin..!
TipMake sure to use it with the Dive-In Serum, it's really fantastic! Apply it with cool hands for the best results!

I usually dislike skincare products that feel sticky or oily, so I tend to use water-like formulas like the Dokdo Toner. But this one is even better - there's no discomfort at all! After application, it feels like your skin has a thin, protective coating. But it's not unpleasant at all! 2) It absorbs incredibly fast! Just pat it in a few times, and it's gone. Though I'm not sure if it's all actually absorbed into the skin... 3) There's hardly any scent, so even those with sensitive noses can use it comfortably without any worries.
Cons1) It feels like you haven't applied anything at all! You need to apply it twice to actually feel like you've put something on your skin. 2) It doesn't seem to have much effect on improving skin texture, or managing sebum and dead skin cells. 3) For some reason, I developed small bumps after using it... It might be because it was close to my period, but seeing as they went away after I stopped using it, I think there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin.
TipApplying the product alone with your hands doesn't seem to improve skin texture at all... It might be better to use it with a cotton pad, applying a generous amount.

Extremely oily T-zone (forehead and nose) + slightly dry cheeks. Occasional acne. Blackheads present. Current toner: Switched from Dokdo toner to Treu Mugwort toner a week ago Current emulsion: Switched from Nature Republic Super Aqua Combination Moisturizing Cream to Scinic The Simple Emulsion two weeks ago I'm the type whose T-zone gets oily quickly if the toner and emulsion don't have a proper oil-moisture balance. With the Scinic emulsion and mugwort toner, the balance seems off as my skin gets oily fast. Dive Toner review >> The texture isn't watery, but slightly gel-like. This is good because it doesn't drip when applying. The color is a pretty blue, as shown in the photo. Due to its thicker consistency, I apply it by putting some on the back of my hand first. I don't do toner masks or the 5/7 skin method. Just one application of toner morning and night. Then I apply the emulsion, and that's my whole routine. Over time, oil still appears on my nose and forehead, but less than with the mugwort toner. This suggests a better oil-moisture balance. My skin reacts quickly with excess oil if the balance leans too far in either direction. The mugwort toner noticeably reduced my blackheads, but after a week of using this toner, I can see the blackheads starting to return. It doesn't seem effective for exfoliation or sebum control. The ingredients seem genuinely gentle. I currently have skin inflammation, so I'm being careful with skincare and can't use masks, but this hasn't caused any issues with the inflammation. There's a slight alcohol scent if you smell it very closely. However, you can't detect it during normal use. It's practically unscented. After using this toner, there's no stickiness once it's absorbed. I disliked some products that left a sticky feeling, but this one doesn't have that issue. **Summary** Gentle ingredients Slightly gel-like texture, not watery Practically unscented Non-sticky after use Good oil-moisture balance Not helpful for dead skin cells, sebum, or blackheads If asked whether I'd buy this toner again... Not really, as my main concerns are dead skin cells, sebum, and blackheads. I think it might be good for those looking for a toner with a balanced oil-moisture ratio rather than for my specific concerns.
ConsThose with extremely sensitive noses might detect an alcohol scent. Not effective for dead skin cells or sebum control.
