This would be great for oily skin types.
ConsThere's a slight medicinal scent to it. However, for those who use Torriden toner, switching to this product in winter could provide extra hydration.

As someone with oily skin, I really dislike products that sit on top or feel sticky, but this one is light while still providing hydration, which I love!
ConsI don't have any complaints so far! The price is reasonable, and I'm completely satisfied. The only slight drawback is that while the scent is subtle, there's a hint of alcohol fragrance, which is a bit disappointing.
TipI think if you keep it in the refrigerator and apply it cold, you might get a nice cooling effect too.

It was on sale on Hwahae, so the price was great, and the ingredients are top-notch. The blue packaging is pretty and looks fresh and clean, which is why I ordered it. Torriden products are known for their good ingredients without any harmful ones, and they're affordable. With Hwahae's sale, the value for money is always the first advantage, especially for daily skincare. It has a mucin-like texture. Overall, it seems like a toner without any major pros or cons.
ConsDue to its thick, mucin-like texture, it absorbs slower than watery toners, and even among mucin-like products, it seems a bit slower. Unfortunately, all Torriden products have a scent I'm not fond of. To me, it smells more artificial or chemical-like. Despite the mucin texture, it feels more sticky than moisturizing. Although I don't have extremely dry skin, I'm not sure if its hydrating power is that impressive.
TipHere's my beauty tip: Before removing makeup, I first wipe my face with toners, then use cleansing water, followed by eye and lip makeup remover, cleansing oil, and finally, a cleansing foam. It might seem like a lot, but as someone who's not great with skincare, or maybe it's just my personality, this routine makes me feel like all my makeup is thoroughly removed. Given its good value and somewhat thick texture, I find it works well to soak a cotton pad with this toner and wipe my face before the main cleansing routine.

I actually meant to buy only the serum but accidentally got this too. So glad I did though, I'm super satisfied! Just by shaking the bottle, you can tell it has some viscosity. I thought, 'Oh no... it's going to be sticky...' But when I applied it to my face, there was zero stickiness. It absorbs quickly and feels refreshing! The texture is absolutely perfect. The hydration absorbs so fast you might think it's not there, but it's great thanks to the hyaluronic acid content. It's perfect for layering with other products, and if you want to use it alone, you can just apply a few more layers. The packaging is great too - the product doesn't gush out uncontrollably.
ConsThere's a slight artificial scent that's a bit plasticky or rubbery. I noticed the same smell when using the Dive In Low Molecular Serum, so it might be characteristic of hyaluronic acid or maybe it's from the packaging. It's probably not noticeable for those who aren't sensitive to scents, and it's only present when you first apply it, disappearing quickly after that.

My skin is oily on the outside but dry inside, so I prefer moisturizing products from the toner step. This toner isn't super sticky like mucus, but has a nice viscosity. True to its consistency, it's very hydrating. In summer, I usually just use toner and moisturizer. With this, I might not even need moisturizer during the rainy season if I apply multiple layers. I went out wearing just this as a base, then primer and cushion foundation, and my skin didn't feel tight at all. Since I have sensitive skin and can't use cotton pads, I don't use exfoliating toners anyway. I loved that this is fragrance-free. It feels amazing when I pat it onto my face with my hands. So hydrating and refreshing!
ConsIt makes my skin itchy. But then again, my skin gets itchy with almost everything, so not being itchy would be strange for me. Like the Physiogel Sensitive Serum that I use despite its crayon smell, it's just a matter of whether the itching stops after a while or continues. After my dermatitis cleared up on September 17, 2019, I started using this and I don't think there's a better toner out there. Now that the cold winds are blowing, the era of watery toners is over. I'll be spending autumn and winter with this baby. I love you, Torriden!

I love that the ingredient list and product benefits printed on the outer box are also on the bottle itself. Some products lose that info when you toss the box, so that's a plus. I've used the toner morning and night for three days. Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any increase in blemishes. Initially, my face looked redder than with other products, which worried me, but it returned to normal within seconds - no problem! After three days of use, my skin texture is noticeably softer! It also helps balance oil and moisture (though not dramatically). It's not sticky, and I can't find any real downsides.
ConsIt's not really a drawback, but the scent was new to me when I first applied it. How to describe it... like cream soda with a few drops of alcohol? But it disappears quickly.

With acne and sensitive skin, I can't use just anything, but among the products that work well for me are Torriden's! When I heard about their new product, I seized the sale opportunity to purchase it, and it's amazing... It's achieved holy grail status! While I've been slathering on 7-skin method products, skin packs, and Torriden serum, there was still a slight skin thirst that wasn't quenched. Using highly moisturizing, hydration-packed products from the market always led to breakouts due to over-nourishment, but not using them resulted in an oil bomb due to dehydration. However, after using Torriden Skin Boost, my deep dryness completely disappeared! My skin has a glow! Not an oily sheen, but a real, genuine glow! My skin feels so soft that makeup applies beautifully. It's been so long since my skin condition has been this good - I'm overjoyed! I think I'll keep purchasing and using this consistently. What I love most is that it doesn't contain trendy ingredients and it's slightly acidic! It doesn't cause blemishes, and since it fills in hydration well, it seems to have an acne-soothing effect too. I keep it in the fridge, so it's refreshingly cool! The texture is slightly runny, but it absorbs well and isn't sticky! For combination dehydrated skin, this will be like an oasis in the desert.
ConsThe downside is, of course, the price... It seems a bit wicked considering the volume.. It feels like it'll last a while, but it goes quickly. There's also a very slight alcohol scent. Since I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, it doesn't bother me much, but it might be hit or miss for others!
TipAfter evening out skin texture with an exfoliating toner, pat on Skin Boost 3 times, then Torriden serum 2 times, finish with a light layer of moisturizing cream, and your skin will be super hydrated until the next day!

The texture is like a mix between a watery toner and a rich cream! The dispenser opening is just the right size, making it super easy to control the amount. The consistency is neither too runny nor too thick, which made it very convenient to use. It seems to have a cooling effect! Every time I used it, my face felt refreshed. Especially during these hot days, it seemed to soothe my flushed skin with each application. My blemishes decreased and redness was significantly reduced! Recently, due to unpredictable weather, my skin had been acting up. The area around my nose was itchy and very red, and I had small bumps under my eyes. While there's still a tiny bit of redness left, the itching has completely disappeared, and the bumps under my eyes are gone. I'm very satisfied with the results!
ConsIt absorbs so quickly that after applying once, it doesn't feel like I've applied anything at all. As a result, my skin felt a bit tight. At first, I didn't notice, but as I continued using it, I detected a slight alcohol scent and something similar to ginseng.
TipFor best results, start by gently wiping your face with a cotton pad soaked in the product, as you would with a toner. Then pat in any remaining product. After using your serum or ampoule, dispense a generous amount of the product onto your hands and spread it over your face, then gently pat it in. This method will leave your skin feeling extra hydrated!

Extremely oily T-zone (forehead and nose) + slightly dry cheeks. Occasional acne. Blackheads present. Current toner: Switched from Dokdo toner to Treu Mugwort toner a week ago Current emulsion: Switched from Nature Republic Super Aqua Combination Moisturizing Cream to Scinic The Simple Emulsion two weeks ago I'm the type whose T-zone gets oily quickly if the toner and emulsion don't have a proper oil-moisture balance. With the Scinic emulsion and mugwort toner, the balance seems off as my skin gets oily fast. Dive Toner review >> The texture isn't watery, but slightly gel-like. This is good because it doesn't drip when applying. The color is a pretty blue, as shown in the photo. Due to its thicker consistency, I apply it by putting some on the back of my hand first. I don't do toner masks or the 5/7 skin method. Just one application of toner morning and night. Then I apply the emulsion, and that's my whole routine. Over time, oil still appears on my nose and forehead, but less than with the mugwort toner. This suggests a better oil-moisture balance. My skin reacts quickly with excess oil if the balance leans too far in either direction. The mugwort toner noticeably reduced my blackheads, but after a week of using this toner, I can see the blackheads starting to return. It doesn't seem effective for exfoliation or sebum control. The ingredients seem genuinely gentle. I currently have skin inflammation, so I'm being careful with skincare and can't use masks, but this hasn't caused any issues with the inflammation. There's a slight alcohol scent if you smell it very closely. However, you can't detect it during normal use. It's practically unscented. After using this toner, there's no stickiness once it's absorbed. I disliked some products that left a sticky feeling, but this one doesn't have that issue. **Summary** Gentle ingredients Slightly gel-like texture, not watery Practically unscented Non-sticky after use Good oil-moisture balance Not helpful for dead skin cells, sebum, or blackheads If asked whether I'd buy this toner again... Not really, as my main concerns are dead skin cells, sebum, and blackheads. I think it might be good for those looking for a toner with a balanced oil-moisture ratio rather than for my specific concerns.
ConsThose with extremely sensitive noses might detect an alcohol scent. Not effective for dead skin cells or sebum control.
