This product's micro-bubbles create an incredibly fine and rich lather that I absolutely love. During seasonal changes when my skin gets sensitive, I often use low pH cleansers, but they always seemed to lack in foam. However, this product's lather is truly impressive! Moreover, its trustworthy ingredients give me the sense that they're thoroughly cleansing my pores. It's true that my skin becomes more sensitive with each passing year, so I find myself seeking gentler, kinder ingredients. After washing, my face feels as smooth as if I've just had a rice water massage! What really amazed me was the lack of deep dryness after cleansing. This was truly surprising! Having struggled to settle on a cleansing foam while using various so-so products, I was especially delighted to find this one.
ConsThe product is quite thick, so I have to really squeeze the tube hard each time I use it. This often results in dispensing too much product. I've only been using it for just over two weeks, and the tube already feels light. That's quite disappointing. My hand hurts every time I squeeze it. Are you listening, product manager? If this is the secret to that rich lather, I'll put up with it. But if there's another reason, please consider reformulating!

I'm writing this after using the product multiple times.) 1. Cleansing effectiveness I use this as my morning cleanser and as a second cleanse after oil cleansing in the evening, so it's hard to say definitively how well it removes makeup. Personally, I don't prefer overly strong cleansers, and I liked that this product's cleansing power is neither too strong nor too weak. 2. User experience Some products that focus on ingredients don't lather well, but this one creates foam easily, making for a pleasant experience. I think it would be great if they made a bubble cleanser in the same line. I prefer a moisturized feeling after cleansing rather than a squeaky-clean one, and I was pleased that this product leaves skin feeling hydrated. 3. Ingredients I have super sensitive skin, so I pay close attention to ingredients, especially in cleansing products. I used this without worry since it has zero concerning ingredients.
ConsThere weren't any major downsides, but the ambiguous scent (possibly rice?) might be divisive. Personally, I got used to it quickly while using the product.
TipI think it would work well as a morning cleanser!

I've been using this product as part of the Hwahae Testers program for about a month now, just over two weeks. And why am I leaving this review now? My skin texture has improved, and it seems like there's much less residue on my skin! Due to its unique characteristics, the product isn't a thick, creamy cleansing foam, but rather has a slightly dense texture. It lathers extremely well and cleanses gently with an oil-like smoothness. Compared to other cleansing products, it's milder and cleanses thoroughly without leaving my face red. It's fantastic! The design is also very sleek, making it pleasant to use. I could definitely settle on this cleansing foam as my go-to!
ConsThere weren't really any downsides, but if I had to mention one... I thought it would be nice if there were some gratis items! After trying this cleansing product, I looked into their other products, but there weren't many options. Still, I love this cleansing product so much that I'm definitely motivated to purchase it with my own money next time!

When I saw that this cleansing foam contains rice bran, I was secretly thrilled - after all, I'm someone who desperately needs skin brightening! First off, I loved the scent when I initially opened the lid. It's the kind of fragrance you'd want to smell when you're tired or about to sleep. Satisfied with the scent, I was curious about the product itself, and I found the cleansing effectiveness to be great! After washing my face, I could feel my skin becoming soft and smooth. Even though I have acne-prone skin, it felt incredibly soft to the touch! It might be a psychological effect, but I also felt like my skin became cleaner and more translucent. My complexion seemed to improve overall.
ConsSome people say this product is really good, but I guess it's different for everyone. I really regret using this product. It felt great when I first used it, but the next day, blemishes started appearing on my skin one by one. I thought, 'Surely it can't be because I changed my cleansing foam,' and continued using this product, but the blemishes only increased. So I stopped using this product. My skin is precious, after all! When I went back to my original product, the blemishes disappeared, but I don't even want to think about that nightmare. I left this product in the bathroom, thinking I'd just give up on it, and my family members ended up using it. Strangely, they didn't get any blemishes after using it. Why did this happen only to me? I wouldn't recommend this to anyone whose skin doesn't agree with rice bran. I had a terrible experience using this. However, for those who find it suitable, it could be great! That's important to keep in mind.

This is The Hwahae Testers speaking. I used to be quite particular about my cleansing oils and gels, but when it came to the second cleanse, I'd sometimes do it, sometimes skip it, using whatever was on hand. I thought, 'Why bother with anything special? They're all the same, right?' Well, winning this Hwahae Tester opportunity made me realize the importance of a good cleansing foam. Usually, cleansing foams left my face feeling dry and tight, but this one doesn't at all. You can really feel how gentle and mild it is on your skin. It's made with rice bran extract, and my mom, who's also been using it, mentioned that back in the day, many people used rice bran for skincare. She thinks that's why this product feels so great! It seems like they're confident enough in their product to let people try it out like this. It feels like my skin is actually improving while removing makeup. ✔️ If you're looking for a mild, gentle cleansing foam that doesn't dry out your skin but still cleanses effectively, I highly recommend this product. ✔️ Although it's gentle, a small amount produces rich lather, giving you an even softer cleansing experience. I'm 100% certain I'll purchase this product once I've used it all up. Oh, and there's something unique about it - when you squeeze the cleansing foam into your hand, it has this interesting, bouncy, firm texture. It's quite fascinating!
ConsThere's nothing negative to say! I honestly can't find a single flaw with this product. If I had to nitpick, it would be about the packaging. When I received the delivery, I was genuinely pleased by how beautifully and carefully it was packaged. However, in this eco-conscious era, I couldn't help but think the packaging might be a bit excessive. It's not a fragile item that would break if dropped, unless it fell under something extremely heavy. So it felt a bit over-packaged to me.

First off, the ingredients are great. There weren't any components that didn't agree with my skin, so I didn't experience any blemishes or adverse reactions! 2. It's gentle enough for daily use. I usually have super sensitive skin that turns red even with rice bran masks. However, this product didn't cause any irritation or redness at all~ 3. Excellent for dead skin cells and sebum control. Since I started using this product, my dead skin cells have significantly reduced. I typically do a double cleanse with oil first, then foam. Before, even after oil cleansing, blackheads on my nose would still peek through, but since using this product, my sebum production has noticeably decreased! I used to exfoliate twice a week with a peeling gel, but now this product provides daily dead skin cell care, so once a week is enough! And it doesn't cause any irritation despite its exfoliating properties~
ConsThe downside... sigh... this might just be me, but... In my opinion, it doesn't lather well. I expected fluffy foam since it's called a micro foam, but it doesn't produce much. This is honestly the only drawback!
TipUse it with a pore brush~ I tried it with a brush without thinking much of it because it doesn't lather well, and the combination works great! When used together, it creates more foam and provides a deep cleanse that really helps remove sebum effectively.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsPerhaps due to its gentle, low pH rice bran formula: • Skin feels comfortable after cleansing without excessive tightness • Suitable for all skin types, but especially beneficial for dry and sensitive skin • Recommended as a second cleanser or morning face wash • Great for winter use • Perfect for those seeking a mild, low pH foam cleanser The product is packed with beneficial ingredients (milk extract, triple hyaluronic acid, allantoin, ceramide NP, beta-glucan, panthenol): • Moisturizing rice bran component • Low pH balances oil and moisture • Rice filler strengthens moisture barrier • Natural surfactants for gentle cleansing • Milk protein nourishes skin • Triple hyaluronic acid for deep hydration This cleanser focuses on being a low pH, moisturizing, gentle daily cleanser for sensitive skin. If you purchase with these expectations, you'll likely be satisfied. It's not designed for dramatic effects, but rather as a mild, unobtrusive, low pH foam that's great for daily use, even in the morning. As someone with combination skin prone to blackheads and closed comedones, I personally prefer a cleanser more targeted towards pores and blemishes.
ConsThe ointment-like texture makes it a bit challenging to squeeze out. Also, perhaps because I'm used to using a foam maker and tried this with bare hands, it doesn't seem to lather as richly. At 27,000 won for 100ml, it's a bit pricier compared to other low pH cleansers.
TipUsing a foam maker will create a richer, denser lather for cleansing. The website suggests mixing in a bit of rice bran oil before lathering for enhanced moisturizing effects. Any face oil you have at home should work fine.

It cleansed thoroughly without irritation, and I could open my eyes while washing without any stinging. A small amount produced plenty of foam, enough to cleanse the entire face, so it should last a long time. After cleansing, my skin felt brighter, though the effect didn't last long. I usually have a lot of dead skin cells due to my dry skin, but it seemed to remove them effectively. Despite the squeaky-clean feeling, there was no tightness after washing, and I didn't feel any dryness even without applying anything else.
ConsThe scent is disappointing, especially since there are products without artificial fragrances that still smell good. It has a soapy base smell that bothered me every time I used it. It's probably personal preference, but I don't particularly like the squeaky-clean feeling and would have preferred a more oil-rich texture. Although it didn't leave my skin dry or tight, someone who likes a more slippery finish might find it a bit lacking.

Ingredients Looking at the ingredients on Hwahae, they seem to be good. It uses natural surfactants that remove impurities deep within the dead skin cells without irritating the skin, while providing hydration. Its slightly acidic pH, similar to skin, helps maintain healthy skin condition. As the product name suggests, it contains rice bran oil and rice extract, which are great for skin brightening and moisturizing. So you probably won't need to cleanse with rice water separately. 2. Texture It has a soft and elastic texture. Usually, cleansers with exfoliating properties have granules that might irritate sensitive skin, but this product has an incredibly soft and elastic cream-like texture. It might look a bit stiff when you first apply it, but it melts smoothly when it comes into contact with water. 3. Lather I tried lathering with both cold and warm water using my hands, and it lathers quite well. Typically, low pH products don't lather well, but this one creates a nice foam for gentle cleansing. If you have a foam pump or cleansing net, you can create an even richer lather. 4. Cleansing Effectiveness I applied various makeup products on my hand including sunscreen, foundation, lipstick, tint, eyeshadow, mascara, and eyebrow product. After 20 minutes, I washed it off. As you can see in the photo, some lip and eye makeup remained. The cleansing power seems to be on the milder side. Of course, if you use this as a second cleanser after oil cleansing, everything comes off. While it doesn't leave your skin squeaky clean, it doesn't leave a slippery residue either. I've been looking for a low pH cleanser that removes makeup thoroughly, and this one seems pretty good. (It's somewhere between squeaky clean and slippery.) 5. Hydration Maybe it's because I have oily skin, but I didn't feel much tightness or dryness after cleansing. However, in the dead of winter, your skin might feel dry if you don't moisturize immediately after cleansing. If you have dry skin, you should probably apply moisturizer right after washing. 6. Packaging The tube type packaging makes it convenient for travel without worrying about leaks. The product comes out smoothly without being too stiff, so I'm satisfied with the packaging. Like all tube-type products, I wonder if the cap might become loose after prolonged use. 7. Scent While I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, I think this product would be fine even for those who are. It mainly has a rice-like scent... which I liked. However, if you have skin that reacts sensitively to certain fragrances, make sure to check before purchasing.
Cons1. Packaging As others have mentioned, I wonder if so much paper is really necessary to protect the product. It feels like excessive packaging. 2. Price The price of 27,000 won for 100ml seems a bit expensive. I might consider buying it when it's on sale, but otherwise, there are many products with good ingredients at more affordable prices that I'd probably use instead.

It's not a deal-breaker since it's a foam cleanser that gets rinsed off, but sometimes an odd fragrance can be off-putting. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel overly dry, and there's minimal residue. On days when I only wear sunscreen, I usually remove it with a pad first, then finish with this foam cleanser. Despite being gentle, it's definitely not lacking in cleansing effectiveness. It should be fine for light makeup and sunscreen removal as a second cleanse. Unlike stronger foam cleansers that can be harsh for daily use, this one feels comfortable on the skin.
ConsIt might not be sufficient for heavy makeup days, as gentle cleansers typically aren't as powerful. While foam cleansers are often used for second or third cleansing steps, in my experience, for days with heavy makeup, it's better to start with an oil cleanser, follow up with a stronger cleanser for thorough removal, and then focus on hydration.
TipIf you have a bubble maker, try using it with this cleanser. A generous lather seems to reduce friction and irritation when massaging the product on your skin. Without enough foam, you're essentially rubbing your bare skin, which could lead to irritation and potentially wrinkles, even with a gentle cleanser.
