The lather isn't particularly rich. Also, the texture is mousse-like, which may clump if not spread evenly. The scent is lavender, so those with super sensitive skin should take note. Using lukewarm water helps create a better lather. - wo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

After using this product for about a week, I noticed a significant improvement in my complexion when looking in the mirror each morning. While it may not completely eliminate blemishes, it definitely works wonders for brightening the skin. Despite usually avoiding fragranced cosmetics, I found this one to be surprisingly gentle. I'm thrilled that it's even keeping those stubborn, deep blemishes at bay. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! There aren't any major drawbacks, but if I had to point out one minor inconvenience, it would be the tube packaging. It can be a bit challenging to squeeze out the product, and when you release pressure, it doesn't cleanly cut off the flow. You have to manually break it off, which can be slightly annoying. The brightening effect is truly impressive. For best results, try working it into a rich lather before applying! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 17, 2020
Seems to have gentle ingredients. After washing, it leaves the skin feeling moisturized rather than dry. Slightly disappointing for removing color makeup. Recommended for a quick morning cleanse. You need to squeeze the tube hard to get a small amount out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2019
I've been using this consistently for two weeks. (Shuyabli's reviews are always honest, based on products I've actually used :) My skin type: Due to skin sensitivity, even the slightest irritation causes redness. My T-zone produces a lot of oil, while my U-zone is dehydrated oily, resulting in dryness. I'm rooting for everyone with similar skin concerns! With the changing seasons, I've been experiencing more blemishes and an outbreak of tiny pimples, making me extra conscious about my skin. At times like these, cleansing becomes crucial. I had the opportunity to try the Hayejin Rice Foam Cleanser, switching from my usual cleanser for about two weeks. The best part was that there was absolutely no tightness after cleansing. Maybe it's because I've been focusing on hydration lately, but some products can feel like they're stripping all the moisture from my skin. With this one, I was surprised by how non-drying it felt. Looking in the mirror after cleansing, I noticed a slight brightening effect. Perhaps it's due to the rice ingredients, but overall, my complexion seemed brighter. The product itself isn't irritating at all. I have super sensitive skin that easily turns red with harsh ingredients, but I didn't experience any of that. It feels very gentle! The scent was also pleasantly mild. The cleansing effectiveness wasn't as impressive as I expected. It doesn't seem to cleanse that well... Since I don't wear much makeup usually, it's okay, but if I apply a bit more, it doesn't remove it completely. Mascara under my eyes remained, making me look like I had dark circles. It's great at making you look tired! This product doesn't really have any noticeable drawbacks or disappointments. Before using this cleanser, you can remove makeup more thoroughly by using a cleansing water or oil first. These days, there are many cleansing devices available. I use a Y* product, and when I use the cleanser with that device, it makes my skin look incredibly bright. It boosts the cleansing effectiveness compared to using hands alone, leaving my face feeling completely refreshed. - h6*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 23, 2019
My skin is sensitive, combination dehydrated, and acne-prone, so I tend to have a lot of blemishes! This product contains small granules that melt with the temperature of your hands and skin! The texture is like clumped rice grains. Overall rating: Ingredients ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleansing effectiveness ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Acne improvement ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tightness ⭐ Irritation: None Lather ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pros: ⭐ Great ingredients My skin barrier is quite damaged, especially in this season, making my skin even more sensitive. The ingredients are excellent, causing no irritation, which is perfect for someone like me who's sensitive to ingredients! ⭐ Effective cleansing It removes even deeply pigmented lip tints and waterproof eyeliner quite well! Mascara doesn't come off easily, and since it doesn't remove everything completely, you'll probably need to double cleanse. ⭐ Minimal tightness I have combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness, which is worse now, but there was minimal tightness after cleansing! I could go without skincare for a few minutes after washing. ⭐ Improved acne On the first day of using this cleansing foam, I thought my blemishes might have gotten worse, though it might not have been due to this product. However, I continued using it because of the reviews, and my acne definitely improved! It's much better now. ⭐ Great lather Compared to the product I was using before, which didn't lather well, this one definitely produces a good foam! This meant there was no irritation to my skin from my hands while cleansing. Cons: ⭐ Small quantity The amount is... less than expected. I cleanse twice a day with this foam, and as you can see in the first photo, the container has already caved in. I've only been using it for about 8-9 days, so keep in mind that the volume seems to be on the smaller side. Will repurchase: Yes Overall, I think this product excelled in all aspects! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 22, 2019
It creates a nice lather, making it great for cleansing! Leaves skin feeling moisturized during use The cleansing effectiveness doesn't seem to be particularly high. It's more suitable for removing basic skincare or very light makeup...? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2019
I tried the Hayejin brand for the first time. True to its name, this cleansing foam is centered around rice bran extract, which piqued my interest. ▫️Ingredients It's free from 20 concerning ingredients and formulated with EWG grade 3 or lower, so it seems suitable even for those with sensitive skin. ▫️Texture and Lather The texture is quite rich and thick. When lathered, it creates small, fine bubbles rather than large ones, allowing for deep cleansing. Despite being fragrance-free, it doesn't have that typical surfactant smell. The foam is incredibly soft, making it pleasant to cleanse with. There was a slight downside in terms of how it felt on the skin. While I enjoyed the temporary brightening effect right after use, my skin did feel a bit dry afterwards! I found that using plenty of water to create the lather resulted in a softer foam! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

This product's micro-bubbles create an incredibly fine and rich lather that I absolutely love. During seasonal changes when my skin gets sensitive, I often use low pH cleansers, but they always seemed to lack in foam. However, this product's lather is truly impressive! Moreover, its trustworthy ingredients give me the sense that they're thoroughly cleansing my pores. It's true that my skin becomes more sensitive with each passing year, so I find myself seeking gentler, kinder ingredients. After washing, my face feels as smooth as if I've just had a rice water massage! What really amazed me was the lack of deep dryness after cleansing. This was truly surprising! Having struggled to settle on a cleansing foam while using various so-so products, I was especially delighted to find this one. The product is quite thick, so I have to really squeeze the tube hard each time I use it. This often results in dispensing too much product. I've only been using it for just over two weeks, and the tube already feels light. That's quite disappointing. My hand hurts every time I squeeze it. Are you listening, product manager? If this is the secret to that rich lather, I'll put up with it. But if there's another reason, please consider reformulating! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I'm writing this after using the product multiple times.) 1. Cleansing effectiveness I use this as my morning cleanser and as a second cleanse after oil cleansing in the evening, so it's hard to say definitively how well it removes makeup. Personally, I don't prefer overly strong cleansers, and I liked that this product's cleansing power is neither too strong nor too weak. 2. User experience Some products that focus on ingredients don't lather well, but this one creates foam easily, making for a pleasant experience. I think it would be great if they made a bubble cleanser in the same line. I prefer a moisturized feeling after cleansing rather than a squeaky-clean one, and I was pleased that this product leaves skin feeling hydrated. 3. Ingredients I have super sensitive skin, so I pay close attention to ingredients, especially in cleansing products. I used this without worry since it has zero concerning ingredients. There weren't any major downsides, but the ambiguous scent (possibly rice?) might be divisive. Personally, I got used to it quickly while using the product. I think it would work well as a morning cleanser! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First, let me describe my skin: it's extremely oily, prone to large, painful blemishes that appear in twos or threes during my menstrual cycle, and experiences deep dryness after cleansing. Usually, I prefer cleansers with rich lather that leave my skin feeling squeaky clean. While the Hayejin Rice Pila Cleansing Foam doesn't produce an abundant lather due to its gentle formula, it still foams up nicely for a low-irritation cleanser. Notably, I felt less deep dryness after washing. Though its cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, it seems perfect for makeup-free days or morning cleansing routines. For someone with oily, blemish-prone skin that still experiences deep dryness, the cleansing power feels a bit weak. It doesn't quite give that refreshing clean feeling after washing. The gentle formula means the lather isn't as rich as I'd like, which is slightly disappointing. As it's a cleansing product, there aren't many special tips to share. I'd recommend first washing your hands with this product, then squeezing some onto wet hands to work up a good lather before applying to your face. The foam doesn't build up easily, so if you don't create enough lather, the product might not spread well on your skin.
