It's also been more reactive lately. Please keep this in mind! *This is a review from The Hwahae Testers I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but my face seemed to brighten up. After a recent trip where I got quite tanned, I hadn't felt like my complexion was improving much. However, with this cleanser, perhaps due to the rice ingredients, I noticed my skin looked brighter after washing. It didn't feel dry either. While it's not so moisturizing that I could skip other products entirely, it did keep my skin comfortable for a while. Unlike some other low pH foams that can leave a slippery feeling, this one didn't feel slippery or squeaky clean. My skin has been sensitive lately, prone to small bumps and acne, but I didn't experience any significant blemishes. Though I don't wear makeup often, when I do, I use a 3-step cleansing routine: lip and eye makeup remover, cleansing oil, and then this foam cleanser. It removes everything thoroughly without leaving any residue. It seems great as a final cleansing step or for morning cleansing, being gentle on the skin. While it definitely has its merits, it didn't particularly stand out to me, hence the 4-star rating. Still, I think it's a good cleanser overall.
ConsThe foam feels like dishwashing detergent. I found it similar to the Innisfree Blueberry Cleanser. The scent was just okay for me. It smelled a bit like household cleaning products... However, it wasn't strong enough to bother me every time I used it, so I continued using the product.
TipThis seems like a product that requires a foaming net or some kind of tool to create lather. I personally enjoy foam cleansing and usually use a foaming net. I experimented and found that if you squeeze out about a fingertip's worth of the cleanser onto a well-drained foaming net, you can create a rich (though not super dense) foam for cleansing. If you just use your hands, it ends up feeling like detergent foam.

It cleansed thoroughly without irritation, and I could open my eyes while washing without any stinging. A small amount produced plenty of foam, enough to cleanse the entire face, so it should last a long time. After cleansing, my skin felt brighter, though the effect didn't last long. I usually have a lot of dead skin cells due to my dry skin, but it seemed to remove them effectively. Despite the squeaky-clean feeling, there was no tightness after washing, and I didn't feel any dryness even without applying anything else.
ConsThe scent is disappointing, especially since there are products without artificial fragrances that still smell good. It has a soapy base smell that bothered me every time I used it. It's probably personal preference, but I don't particularly like the squeaky-clean feeling and would have preferred a more oil-rich texture. Although it didn't leave my skin dry or tight, someone who likes a more slippery finish might find it a bit lacking.

It seems like it would be suitable for those with dry skin.
ConsAs a Hwahae Tester, I made an effort to use the product daily from the day I received it to provide detailed information to consumers. I also researched more about the product by reading other reviews. However, it seems there might have been an issue with the product I received... 1. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the alcohol scent is overwhelmingly strong. From the moment I first used it, the alcohol smell was so intense that I had to stop using it. I'm not sure if the product I received was defective, but there was no lavender scent either, and my experience seems to differ from other reviewers. 2. I developed small bumps on my forehead. I thought it would suit my skin well since it's supposed to be gentle and slightly acidic, but suddenly I got these tiny blemishes on my forehead, an area that had been clear for years.
