This product is incredibly effective for those massive, deep-rooted blemishes that hurt even with the slightest touch, rather than small bumps. It's a real game-changer! I tend to get these stubborn spots on my chin two or three times a month. If left untreated, I'd be battling with them for an entire week. So, when I notice one of these troublemakers starting to form, I apply this product for a few days. It prevents them from getting bigger and gradually makes them disappear! The formula feels extremely potent. When applied to areas with thin skin, it even caused some peeling. If you use it on the same spot for an extended period, your skin might feel a burning sensation, similar to a mild burn, and it can potentially lead to hyperpigmentation. While it works wonders for tackling severe blemishes, this product requires extremely careful use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2022
Works on inflamed, hard pimples and blemishes (though not dramatically). Reasonably priced. Absorbs well into the skin. Causes a tingling sensation where applied. Can be drying. Must be used sparingly - controlling the amount is crucial. While not completely ineffective for acne, it didn't deliver the significant results I hoped for. Completely ineffective on small bumps. Can cause irritation. Feels sticky on the skin. Leaves a white residue like thin flakes of dead skin cells. Must only be applied at night as it shouldn't be exposed to sunlight. Don't spread it with your fingers - use a cotton swab to apply. Personally, I'd recommend Nox** from the pharmacy - it's cheaper and more effective. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 26, 2021
If you have those pesky little blemishes, you absolutely must try this! It makes them disappear like magic! There's a slight tingling sensation after application, and you'll need to apply your basic skincare products well the next day for your skin to feel okay. When you apply this product, it feels like a thin layer of dead skin cells is being removed. It's not actually peeling off, though. Apply your toner, serum, and moisturizer generously, then finish by dabbing this product thinly on targeted areas as the very last step of your routine! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2021
Living abroad, it's not easy to access Korean acne products or dermatologists, but this product has been a real lifesaver. Whenever I get a flare-up of inflammatory blemishes, applying this for a few days quickly restores my skin to a smooth, calmed state. I have sensitive combination skin, and no matter how severe the blemishes are, they subside within 2-3 days of application. Since I only use a tiny amount, it doesn't seem to build up much resistance either. It stings a bit and is opaque. However, I find it most effective when applied during a good night's sleep rather than during active hours. The stinging doesn't really bother me much. In fact, it almost feels like I can sense my skin calming down. When applied, there's a stinging and warm sensation. It goes on thick and opaque, so I dab it on blemishes before bed. By the next morning, there's a noticeable improvement. I feel a bit unsatisfied using just a small amount, so instead of spreading it thinly over a large area, I pile it on thickly. Reducing intake of greasy and sweet foods alongside using this product is even more effective in getting rid of blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2021
This product is specifically for hard, red, pustular acne rather than small bumps or blackheads. It has a thick, white texture that doesn't spread easily. The irritation and dryness are quite intense, so you need to gradually increase the amount used. I've always been worried about red acne, and now I wonder why I didn't use this sooner. There's really no other suitable alternative. You can definitely see the blemishes calming down when you wake up the next morning after applying it. As effective as it is, there are many side effects, so caution is needed when using it. At first, I applied it generously without knowing better, and suffered from stinging, itching, and extreme dryness. Make sure to research before using. It's a spot treatment product, so it's challenging to use on widespread acne. Depending on your skin, it may cause redness, dead skin cells, itching, or dryness, so you need to apply it carefully while closely monitoring your skin's reaction. It's best to start by applying it to larger blemishes one by one while observing the condition. Since it's extremely drying after application, it's good to moisturize after it's completely dry or apply it after your skincare routine (though applying over other products may slightly reduce its effectiveness, it also reduces irritation). The ingredients shouldn't be exposed to UV rays, and it dries to a white finish, so it's best to apply before bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 5, 2020
It's not too pricey, and when you use it, you can really feel those inflamed blemishes calming down quickly. There's a tendency to feel a slight tingling sensation after application. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2020
I bought this after hearing all the buzz, but after a week of use, I haven't seen any results yet. It causes severe dead skin cells buildup where applied. The skin peels off like scales, making it difficult to apply makeup. When applied to larger areas, the tingling sensation becomes intense, forcing me to wash it off and reapply my regular skincare. While some people swear by this as their holy grail product, it seems it's not for me. For those wanting to try, I'd recommend starting with a small amount on blemish spots at night, and gradually increasing the area if your skin adapts well.
