This product has been a ray of light for my skin. I've always had acne-prone skin, and a small patch of seborrheic dermatitis gradually worsened. Though I saw some improvement during treatment at a university hospital, it got worse afterwards, possibly due to prolonged use of steroid ointments. It even developed into folliculitis, leaving my skin in terrible condition right around my wedding. I tried various ointments and visited multiple clinics, but nothing helped except when I was on medication. Most cosmetics irritated my skin, except for 2-3 products. Then I tried this, and it was the only thing that showed improvement. While Sidmool Propolis just prevented my condition from worsening, using this product consistently led to noticeable improvements. I became so reliant on it that I felt anxious without it. Now that I'm pregnant, I can't use it, but I'm eagerly waiting for the day I can use it again. Please use this product sparingly and with caution. If you use even a little too much, it can cause a burning sensation and significant skin irritation. I mixed it on the back of my hand, and one day I noticed a round, droplet-like spot appeared. I suspect it might be due to this product, so it's probably best to wipe it off normal skin areas. This product might not suit everyone. The causes of skin blemishes vary, and this seems to be quite potent, so it's important to find the right amount and frequency for your skin. You need to apply much less than you might expect, so it's better to mix it and apply a thin layer over a wider area. It's probably best to apply it only to the specific areas you want to improve. Consistent use of small amounts over time is likely to yield the best results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2022
Note: This is not about the same product. I'm writing here as there's no other place to mention this. I mistakenly bought a cleanser product. Not knowing how to use it properly, I applied it and washed it off after 1 minute. Thinking it might be effective, I extended the time to about 1 minute and 30 seconds before rinsing. The result was disastrous. My face felt burning hot, red and sore as if I had a sunburn. The next day, my skin started peeling off, and I became super sensitive. I spent a whole week trying to calm my skin with masks, but the area around my eyes is still rough. Benzoyl peroxide is a scary ingredient. Be careful! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJul 24, 2021
To be honest, this product didn't suit me at all, so there weren't any positives. If I had to mention something, I guess it's the large size? After applying this product, I developed contact dermatitis and suffered terribly for a month. I really, really recommend avoiding this unless you have extremely resilient skin. Even when I diluted it by mixing with an emulsion and applied just a small amount, I still developed contact dermatitis. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2021
I purchased this product through international shipping. I applied it to areas with pustular acne. While it slightly reduced the inflammation in those areas, I didn't notice any further improvements beyond that. When applied, it caused a burning sensation, and sometimes the treated area would peel or become red and inflamed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 16, 2021
Skin type: Combination/Super sensitive skin 1. For blemish extraction: - I never physically extract pimples. Since physical extraction can lead to severe hyperpigmentation, I use acne patches or spot treatments instead. This product was effective when inflammation was visible on the skin's surface. 2. For painful acne (deep under the skin): - My skin responds better to ointments available at pharmacies rather than cosmetic products. Knowing that it could irritate my super sensitive skin, I applied only a small amount to specific areas. At first, I wasn't sure if it was working, but then itching started. The areas where I applied it on my cheeks and forehead became inflamed, and it spread to my left cheek and entire forehead. Even aloe gel couldn't calm it down, so I had to use prescription medication from the doctor. Since this product contains ingredients sensitive to UV rays, avoid using it in the morning and use only a tiny amount! If your skin reacts after use, lightly dampen a paper towel (avoid regular towels or tissues) with cool water and place it on your cheeks for a few minutes. This will help reduce the burning sensation significantly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2021
Responds quickly to acne, effectively calming blemishes. I found it quite effective for the first three days of use (applying a small amount locally to troubled areas before bed every night). On the fourth day of use, I had to stop due to the well-known benzoyl peroxide side effects. (Despite no change in application method) Severe redness appeared in all treated areas. It had no effect on small bumps, instead making the surrounding area look red like mosquito bites, making previously invisible bumps appear inflamed and unsightly. Even when I tried it on areas where inflammation had almost subsided, it still caused redness. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2021
After not using it for a while, I tried it when my skin was at its worst. (Updated rating: 3 stars) I have various types of blemishes, and this was effective on those with pus but without redness. For other types, not so much... To be honest, pimples with pus usually form a scab and fall off, or subside on their own after a few days, even without applying ointment. Sometimes they can worsen due to poor habits. In my case, it's usually the former, and applying this ointment speeds up the healing process. (Previous rating: 1 star) It seemed ineffective... I had such high hopes. Everyone's skin is different, but mine must be super sensitive. I applied just a tiny dot as a spot treatment, and the next day it was swollen like a blister. (Updated) It wasn't effective on large inflamed blemishes, red inflammations, pustular acne, or areas prone to breakouts. (Previous) As mentioned in the pros, the day after use, a blister appeared... Other areas where I applied it still have itching, flaking, and redness even days after stopping use. My skin was so sensitive that even water droplets in the shower caused irritation. Those with sensitive skin or atopic dermatitis should avoid this! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
I can't really say there was anything particularly good about using this product... It just doesn't agree with my skin. As soon as I applied it, my blemishes became completely hard and even grew larger. When I tried to squeeze them, it left really bad scars. It's such a disappointment. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2020
The price is decent... It's cheaper than similar ointments with the same ingredients sold in Korea If you have super sensitive skin, absolutely do not apply this. I tried to get rid of a few blemishes by applying a pea-sized amount, and it caused dermatitis all over my face. Those with truly sensitive skin, please don't use this. My entire face was covered in blisters, wasting time at the dermatologist and spending a fortune on medication. I beg you... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 29, 2020
It's really effective for those big, inflamed pimples. They actually sell an even stronger version, which might work even better for you. When you first use it, you'll almost certainly experience some redness. I had it pretty bad too, but after sticking with it for a week or two, it got better. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin.
