When used after skincare, even a small amount is effective. I like how it brightens the complexion without feeling heavy.
ConsSince it's applied after skincare products, you need to take time to pat or massage it in thoroughly to prevent pilling. It's slightly inconvenient that you still need to apply sunscreen separately.
TipFor a nice no-makeup look, try layering thin layers of skincare, followed by this brightening moisturizer, and then sunscreen on top. Just remember, as it's simply a tone-up cream, it naturally doesn't provide coverage.

Subtle tone-up on bare skin. It really just elevates your complexion by one shade. This could be seen as either a pro or a con, depending on your preference. 2. Smooth application that absorbs well. 3. High-quality ingredients.
Cons1. Skin texture refinement and hydration are essential beforehand. When applied over a basic skincare routine, it can emphasize pores and dead skin cells. 2. The tone-up effect is minimal on naturally fair skin. 3. It feels similar to applying a mineral sunscreen with a white cast. The absorption is also quite slow when applying.
TipIf you have good skin, use this for a tone-up effect. But if you have issues with dead skin cells and pores like me, make sure to refine your skin texture first!

I'm definitely considering repurchasing.
ConsIt doesn't seem to absorb into the skin as quickly or naturally as I'd like.

As someone with ultra-sensitive jellyfish-like skin, my face tends to throw a fit for various reasons - be it stress, overexertion, dryness, sweating, illness, trying new products, or even changing the amount of my usual skincare. Despite the harsh winter winds outside and desert-like conditions indoors, this product seems to keep skin blemishes at bay. I especially recommend it for those who prefer a no-foundation look. It gives a radiant finish, so I use it alongside sunscreen when I need an extra boost of brightness (see photo for reference). While it feels soft and moisturizing upon application, it dries to a silky finish! Note: My 3-star rating doesn't mean the product is bad, but rather that it's average with an equal balance of pros and cons.
Cons- Dryness: Despite having combination dehydrated skin that's dry even in summer, this product leaves my skin feeling overly matte, as if it's sucked out all the moisture. It continues to absorb more hydration as time passes... please stop! - Pilling issues: If you apply too much skincare underneath or if it hasn't fully absorbed, this cream doesn't absorb well and pills. To minimize this, pat it in gently and use only a small amount. The problem is, even with careful application, those with dry skin will need to constantly replenish moisture with face mists. It not only pills into white specks but can make your skin look like your makeup is separating or you have flaky dead skin cells - very noticeable! - Beware of dark clothing: After application, it gets stuck in the creases of your hands (see photo). There's also a slight oily residue, so be sure to wash your hands. While it does leave the skin feeling silky, it can transfer onto clothes, leaving white marks. You'll be able to tell exactly where your face touched your clothing, especially noticeable on dark outfits and black padded jackets (tears).
TipMore isn't always better! I recommend starting with a small amount, dotting it on your face, then gently patting and lightly massaging. If you want more coverage, add a bit more gradually. The moment you get greedy, your face can look ghostly... and if you rub too hard, it all pills up. Make sure your skincare is fully absorbed before applying, and personally, I apply sunscreen after this cream.
