It works hard to remove dead skin cells on its own.
ConsIt can cause some eye irritation if it comes into contact with the eye area. However, this is somewhat unavoidable due to the AHA/BHA content.

Skin type: Severe combination dehydrated skin with lots of dead skin cells I used it for a week, maintaining my usual skincare routine. I even applied it to my back acne, which was quite severe. For the remaining 4 days, I used only this product for skincare and did a daily mask routine with it! I always applied it with a cotton pad, following my skin's texture. For the mask, I split a cotton pad in two and generously soaked it with the product, covering my entire face. The most noticeable effect was on dead skin cells! My nose area, which was particularly prone to flaking, showed improvement after just 4 days! This toner was more hydrating than others I've tried. When I went out wearing only this under my makeup, my skin felt only slightly dry. I applied it to my back acne, and it seemed to calm down a bit! While not dramatically effective, it showed more improvement than other creams I've been using. I think continued use could lead to significant results. I noticed my skin produced oil later than usual after application, which I assume means it's more hydrating? Despite using it generously, the bottle still has plenty left!
ConsThe bottle made it difficult to control the amount dispensed. If you're not careful, it can suddenly pour out too much! Unfortunately, I didn't notice much improvement in facial redness or blemishes, which was what I was most hoping for. It stung if it got into my eyes.
TipEveryone, give it a try on your back acne... why not? Using it as a 10-minute mask before going out is much more effective for hydration and reducing dead skin cells than just wiping your skin with it as a toner! And of course, your makeup applies much better too!

(The packaging advises using sunscreen if applied in the morning. Since my usual Vitamin C product is recommended for evening use only, I stuck to nighttime application just to be safe!) 1. Texture and Packaging: It has a water-like consistency, and the bottle fits comfortably in one hand, making it easy to use. I prefer this watery texture for exfoliating toners and skin-soaking treatments. It seems to absorb quickly too. When doing a skin-soaking treatment, it dispenses enough to saturate a cotton pad nicely. (Be careful though, it can come out quickly and lead to waste if you're not careful with the amount!) 2. Cooling Effect: It's great for soothing facial heat! As mentioned, it feels wonderfully cool when used for skin-soaking treatments. 3. Exfoliation: Perhaps thanks to the Vitamin C, it seems to care for dead skin cells effectively without much irritation! Even after just a week of use, I felt my skin texture had improved. 4. Brightening Effect: Since I was using this alongside my regular Vitamin C product, it's hard to attribute results solely to this product. However, I do think it helped somewhat! In my experience, it seems to work better for spot treatment and blemish scars rather than overall brightening.
Cons1. Dryness (for combination skin): While the watery texture absorbs quickly, I noticed some dryness if I didn't apply the next step promptly. The deep dryness wasn't severe, and it wasn't a major issue if I moved quickly to the next step in my routine. 2. Stinging if it gets in your eyes: Be careful! It really stings if it gets in your eyes... (Caution is key!) Oh, and it can also sting a bit if applied to areas with open wounds. Hmm... I haven't noticed any other downsides so far!
TipThe watery texture makes it great for use as an exfoliating toner or in skin-soaking treatments! If you're aiming for a brightening effect, it might be best to use this in conjunction with a Vitamin C ampoule or serum, rather than on its own! However, if you have sensitive skin, be cautious as Vitamin C can be quite stimulating and might not agree with your skin.
