Pros
This is great for daily use, and I like to apply it after washing my face and doing a facial pack. I either apply this after the pack or as the first step if I'm not doing a pack. It's great for moisturizing and absorbs really quickly, so it's easy to just swipe it on. The bottle is also quite large, so it lasts a long time. It contains vitamin C, so my skin has become brighter. I've used this Hwahae daily toner really well. If you want to see whitening effects, you can also use the Hwahae Niacinamide 15 serum along with this toner. I went from a dark shade 21 to a brighter shade 19, and the yellow undertones were completely corrected, giving me a pretty skin tone. I used to always wear makeup when going out, but now I can just go out with a bare face because my skin has become so clear. This is a holy grail product for me.

(This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review.) I had previously purchased the COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner, and this time I was selected to try the Vitamin C AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner as well. First of all, since it's an AHA/BHA product, it was effective in exfoliating. I don't usually do physical exfoliation, as I've heard it's not good for the skin, but I did see the effects of this product in terms of removing dead skin cells. The cap is also in a pump format, so you don't have to worry about it leaking. I think the product also had a temporary brightening effect, perhaps due to the vitamin content.
Cons
Hmm, I felt there were quite a few downsides for me. While it did help with smoothing the texture, I personally didn't see a dramatic effect in terms of exfoliation and smoothing. When using it, I would soak a cotton pad and apply it, but I didn't really notice any exceptional results. Also, it felt a bit itchy and irritating for me personally. I wrote this review after being selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and using the product. The formulation was a watery, thin texture. So I used it by applying it to a cotton pad and wiping it on. Also, since my skin is sensitive, I only used it in the evenings as it claims to help with exfoliation! If you look at the back of the box where the toner is, there's a note saying to use a sunscreen if you use it in the morning, so please keep that in mind if you plan to use it in the morning!!! The fragrance-free aspect is really nice!! I don't like strong cosmetic fragrances, so this is a great point for me. The feeling when using it is just like applying water to your face?? It's very refreshing and cool, which makes me feel good. And if you gently pat your face after applying, your complexion looks brighter - I really liked that!

Perhaps due to the vitamin ingredients, my skin feels brighter the next day. Even though I have extremely sensitive skin, it did not cause any breakouts! As mentioned in other reviews, it might feel quite drying for those with dry skin. Since I have combination skin, I applied more lotion than usual as my skin felt a bit rough. I think with continued use, my skin will likely become more radiant. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it feels like my scars have faded a bit.
