  Pros

  (This is a review from The Hwahae Testers.) I had previously purchased COSRX AHA BHA toner, and this time I was lucky enough to try their Vitamin C AHA BHA toner as well. First off, being an AHA/BHA product, it was quite effective at removing dead skin cells. I don't usually exfoliate separately. I've heard that physical exfoliation isn't great, but some people reported seeing results with this product, and I did notice some benefits myself. The cap is secure, so you don't need to worry about leakage. Perhaps due to the vitamin content, I personally felt it had a temporary brightening effect on my complexion.

  Cons

  Hmm, I found quite a few aspects disappointing. While it helped smooth out my skin texture, I personally didn't see any dramatic effects in terms of exfoliation or skin refinement. I typically use it by soaking a cotton pad generously and leaving it on before wiping, but well... I didn't notice any remarkable results. Also, it made my skin feel a bit itchy and tingly. Could it be because I have sensitive skin? It just didn't suit my skin type. Moreover, they recommend applying sunscreen after using this product. If you're not fond of layering multiple products... Personally, I'd have to think twice before spending my own money on this.

  Tip

  When using this product, I recommend soaking a cotton pad thoroughly and leaving it on your skin before wiping.

  Pros

  This review is based on my experience after being selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! The texture is as fluid as water. So I used it by applying it to a cotton pad for wiping. Also, since I have super sensitive skin and it claims to help with dead skin cells, I only used it in the evening! If you look at the back of the box containing the toner, there's a note asking you to use sunscreen if you use it in the morning. Please keep this in mind if you plan to use it in the morning as well! I really like that it's fragrance-free! I dislike strong scents in cosmetics, so this is a big plus for me. When using it, it feels like applying water to your face? It's very refreshing and cool, which makes me feel good. Also, after applying it and gently patting it into the skin, I noticed my complexion brightened up, which was great!

  Cons

  Maybe because of my super sensitive skin, I felt a slight tingling sensation. Also, since my skin doesn't tend to accumulate much dead skin cells, I used it every other day, but it still felt a bit irritating.

  Tip

  For toners with a water-like consistency, it's good to use them by applying with a cotton pad or decanting into a mist bottle to spray on your face!

  Pros

  I usually have a lot of dead skin cells and blackheads on my nose, but since I started using this product, I've noticed a significant reduction in both. Following the usage instructions and gently patting the product on areas that need extra care seems to have really helped with those pesky dead skin cells and blackheads that were bothering me.

  Cons

  While the dead skin cells and blackheads have decreased, I've noticed some blemishes appearing on my cheeks and chin. I'm not sure if it's because this product is different from what I usually use. I guess I'll need to keep using it consistently to really understand how it works for my skin.

  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin with blemishes, and recently, due to the dry weather, my makeup wasn't sitting well and my skin was in pretty bad shape. I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers, so I wanted to share my experience after using this product for a while! Absorption: It's not as hydrating as I expected, but it absorbs cleanly into the skin. I think it would be great for those with oily skin, while those with dry skin might find it a bit too drying. Skin texture: With the air being so dry lately, my skin suddenly became flaky and rough. However, after using this toner for a week, I felt like my skin texture became more stable. It really helped calm down the areas where dead skin cells were visible!

  Since the toner itself is quite drying, I had to use it with another more hydrating toner during the winter months. As I have skin prone to blemishes, I experienced a slight tingling or itching sensation when applying it.

  Pros

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. My skin type is dry in the U-zone and oily in the T-zone. While my skin type can change depending on the season and my overall condition, I pay extra attention to hydration during spring, fall, and winter, except for summer. 1. Excellent hydration. When applying skincare products, I usually layer products with high moisture content and finish with a cream. I prefer toners that are full of hydration, and this product feels wonderfully moisturizing the moment I apply it to my skin using a cotton pad. 2. Fast absorption. Sometimes there are toners that are full of moisture but slow to absorb. This product, however, absorbs quickly, which I found very satisfying. 3. Surprisingly generous volume. Although it's a water-type exfoliating toner that will likely be used up quickly, I was pleased with the larger-than-expected volume.

  Cons

  Now, let me discuss the drawbacks. 1. Not suitable for sensitive skin. My skin becomes extremely sensitive and prone to redness in winter. After using this product for about two days, I suddenly noticed redness on both cheeks. I reduced usage from twice daily to once every two days. However, the redness on my cheeks persisted, leading me to discontinue use. I wonder if the review would have been different had I used it in summer. 2. Stings significantly on blemishes. While most products might sting on blemishes, this one was particularly intense. 3. Minimal dead skin cell removal. Despite containing AHA and BHA, which should help with exfoliation, I didn't notice any significant changes in dead skin cell removal that I could see with the naked eye.

  This product might be more suitable for use during the summer months.
