My husband, who used to skip conditioner out of laziness and just use shampoo, actually enjoyed using the Nioxin conditioner. (He especially liked the cooling sensation on his scalp!) What I loved most about it is that even when you use a generous amount, it doesn't make your hair greasy or weigh it down! Usually, I only apply treatments to the ends of my hair (applying all over makes it limp), but with Nioxin, my hair doesn't feel heavy at all after drying. Oh, and on busy mornings when you can't leave the treatment on for long, just one minute is enough to make your hair super soft and smooth.
ConsI'm really impressed with how well this product works. If there's one thing that might be divisive, it's probably the strong mint scent. It's not a fresh, light mint - it's more of an intense, almost medicinal aroma. It reminds me of menthol rub.
TipFor best results, apply it all over your hair in the shower (it's okay if it touches your scalp), then put on a shower cap. Even with the same amount of time, your hair becomes much softer and smoother this way.
