The scent is reminiscent of tree bark oil, surprisingly pleasant. As someone with resilient skin, I applied a generous amount from the start without experiencing any irritation. However, while the oil alone doesn't cause irritation, layering other products on top can occasionally lead to a slight tingling sensation. I'm not sure yet if it dramatically reduces pores or brightens the skin, but it quickly improves skin texture. Emulsions that used to sit on top of my skin now absorb well after using this, and makeup applies more smoothly too.

This was my first time trying retinol! The price was reasonable and the effects were quite good!! 😽 Even though I have sensitive skin, the irritation wasn't too noticeable, and I definitely felt an improvement in my skin texture from using it consistently!!
