Perfect for summer use. Provides great skin coverage. Even conceals acne pigmentation quite well. If you apply it by rolling your fingers, it fills in pores like a primer. Didn't cause any blemishes. Although I have oily skin, it's too much for late autumn and winter. I bought it as the weather was getting drier, but it didn't suit me, so I stashed it away. Come spring, I found it works well when mixed with cream and applied thinly. In summer, I could use it alone without issues. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 28, 2023
It blends well with other moisturizing products and provides good coverage There's nothing really disappointing, but if I had to nitpick, I wish it were a bit more affordable - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 17, 2022
The skin finish is quite pretty. It does a decent job of covering blemishes, acne, and redness. It can't cover dark circles. Being a matte foundation, there's a possibility of it looking cakey. You need to have a solid skincare routine as a base. Make sure to apply a hydrating moisturizer thoroughly! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinAug 8, 2021
Overall, it's pretty decent. The coverage is exceptionally good! It's often touted as a cheaper alternative to Double Wear, but I found this one to be more hydrating than Hanyul. Even though Hanyul is relatively matte, Double Wear is just too drying for me. I'd say this one is actually better in that regard. There's nothing particularly bad about it. If I had to pick something, I'd say it's a bit pricey to buy at full retail. While it's not quite luxury-level, it does come with a hefty price tag. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2021
My skin texture isn't great and I have dehydrated oily skin, so usually when I apply even slightly bright or matte foundations, they immediately look patchy and unattractive. However, with Hanyul's foundation, even a thin layer provides decent coverage and adheres so well to my skin that it creates a beautiful complexion. I love natural-looking skin, so I think I'll be sticking with Hanyul's foundation. On days when my skin is particularly dry, it can look a bit flaky. But that happens with other foundations too, so I don't really consider it a drawback. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 1, 2021
1. Absorbs well The lightweight formula makes it easy to apply. A little goes a long way! 2. Brightening effect The shade is like a perfect mix between 23 and 21. I usually struggle choosing between 23 (too dark) and 21 (too light) for foundations and cushions, but 23 in this one is just right! 3. Semi-matte finish It's not too matte nor too dewy - it strikes the perfect balance. 4. Coverage I have quite a few blemishes, but one thin layer, with a bit extra on problem areas, covers them well! 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells As someone with dry cheeks and nose area, I noticed it accentuates dryness the more dehydrated my skin gets. To minimize the appearance of dead skin cells, try using a mist or moisturizer before applying the foundation! I also recommend using a primer alongside it for better results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2021
My skin type: Sensitive, with an oily T-zone and dry U-zone. I have slight redness on my cheeks, slightly enlarged pores, and occasional blemishes. My skin tends to react with redness or small bumps if I use incompatible cosmetics. The shade is on the lighter side, similar to shade 21. The texture is firm and semi-matte. Coverage is excellent. Longevity is great - no breakdown or darkening for 9 hours. It applies smoothly with good adherence. Covers pores on the nose area perfectly. However, some pores on the cheeks are still slightly visible. A brush works better than a puff for better coverage. Relatively easy to remove. The ingredients are somewhat disappointing. It emphasizes dead skin cells and leaves a slightly heavy feeling. Initially, it looks fine, but over time it accentuates skin texture. The shade 23 is too light, more like shade 21, and doesn't match my skin tone. After removing the makeup, my skin feels slightly itchy, and I get small bumps under my chin. My forehead also feels itchy with some residue left behind. Overall, it's a disappointing product due to issues with texture enhancement, shade mismatch, and potential for blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 6, 2021
I really liked the decent coverage it provided. Plus, it applies thinly and evenly, which is great. There's a slight feeling of it not sitting perfectly on the skin, but I think this might be due to issues with my skincare routine. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 5, 2021
For shade 23, the color isn't too dark. The coverage seems to be medium to high, and the staying power is decent. I love that the packaging is sturdy. It doesn't fully cover blemishes or dark circles, so you'll need to use a concealer too. For combination dehydrated skin, it can be a bit drying and emphasizes dead skin cells. Mixing it with a hydrating moisturizer helps it absorb better and reduces dryness! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2021
It's moisturizing and provides pretty good coverage! Other foundations often flake off, so I couldn't use them for long, but Hanyul doesn't do that! It's just perfect for me! It doesn't completely cover acne scars.
