However, it's worth noting that while it's the best from Innisfree, it doesn't quite match up to some other brands (it falls a bit short compared to the super popular B*o*ma). * Satisfying removal Using it with a cotton pad gives you that definite 'it's really coming off!' feeling, which I loved.
Cons* Caution for sensitive skin The downside of cleansing waters is that using them with cotton pads can irritate the skin. I have sensitive skin, and after a few days of use, my skin became red and inflamed. After investigating, I realized this was the cause. If you have sensitive skin, avoid this product as it contains ingredients that aren't great for sensitive skin types. * Quick separation of oil layer Let's be honest, it's impossible to remove all your makeup with just one swipe of a cotton pad, right? I usually use about 3 pads, but with this product, the oil layer separates really quickly - like, super fast. So every time you need a new pad, you have to close the cap, shake it again, and then use it. It's quite inconvenient.
TipMake sure to shake the bottle well every time you use a new cotton pad. Otherwise, the cleansing effectiveness will be compromised.

ConsAs soon as I put the product on my face, it started to swell up and felt tingling. It seems like some ingredient in it doesn't agree with me. After checking the Hwahae app, I realized this product contains quite a few potential allergens.

First off, it removes makeup incredibly well. With ingredients similar to tears, it cleanses thoroughly without irritation. There's a specific cotton pad that pairs perfectly with this - using them together is a match made in heaven!
ConsIt really stings if it gets in your eyes... To be fair, all cleansing waters might do this, but for someone with super sensitive skin like me, this one felt particularly harsh.

It feels like it gently and smoothly wipes off the skin. It seems like a product that doesn't require a separate emulsification process, and I liked that it's not slippery like oil, making it easy to cleanse. There is still a bit of slip, so I do a light second cleanse, which gives me peace of mind! Overall, this product has good cleansing effectiveness, is gentle, and rinses off smoothly while leaving the skin hydrated. However, it's a bit disappointing that there's some irritation when it touches the skin.
ConsFirst off, I have super sensitive skin that turns red if there's too much irritation, and this product was irritating for me! After using this, something appeared on my skin, and when I used it a second time, it stung because the redness from before hadn't calmed down yet. I'm a big fan of Tonymoly's cleansing water, so I was curious about this oil+water formula. While it does cleanse gently and leaves the skin feeling moisturized, it's really unfortunate that it can cause irritation for sensitive skin like mine.

It removes makeup completely! The product also offers great value for money.
ConsI tried using it with the product's special cotton pads, but it irritated my skin. I have super sensitive skin, so after wiping with the cotton pad, washing my face, and applying emulsion, it stung a bit. I used up the whole bottle, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

But I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't slippery at all. Plus, it cleanses thoroughly!
ConsI'm not sure if it's just me, but after using this, my face feels really tight. I don't typically have very dry skin, so I'm not used to feeling tightness. However, after using this product, I'm experiencing quite a bit of deep dryness.

ConsI'm not sure if it's just me, but there's a bit of citrus in it, and after using it for a few days in a row, my skin felt slightly itchy.

ConsI felt a slight tingling sensation, but now my lips and neck area are all bumpy, red, and in a state! When I traveled abroad, it seemed fine, but once I got home, it started acting up again. I wondered what the cause was, and I think it's this product. I'm now visiting a dermatologist...

Personally, this was quite a challenging product to review. 1. As a makeup cleanser: Its cleansing effectiveness is excellent. Just shake it and apply, and it removes makeup thoroughly. (However, due to several drawbacks, I couldn't use it much on my face. I'll explain in the cons section!) 2. As a lip and eye makeup remover: Honestly, this product works better as a lip and eye makeup remover. It contains oil, so it even removes fixers perfectly. When used as a lip and eye remover, the included cotton pads really shine. With these cotton pads, mascara doesn't just come off - it falls right off. It completely separates the solid particles. At first, I thought it was the product, but after trying different cotton pads, I realized it was the pads' effect. I ended up using it more as a remover. After removing lip makeup, my lips felt less dry, probably due to the oil content. Yet it still cleanses effectively, removing even stained areas perfectly! 3. As a makeup sponge cleanser: I was really surprised when I used this product to clean my makeup sponges! I sprayed the product on the sponge, squeezed once, and the foundation just fell off! Usually, other products require two or three washes, but with this one, you just need to spray it evenly, massage it in, and everything comes off in one go. All traces of foundation completely disappear.
ConsAs you might have guessed from the rating, for me, the cons outweighed the pros. 1. Skin irritation: Despite its excellent cleansing power, I found myself reluctant to use this product. As many other reviewers have noted, after using this product, my skin became noticeably redder and had a strong tingling sensation. I have super sensitive skin, so that might be why, but I even experienced blemishes after use. While it does remove makeup in one go due to its strong cleansing power, I'd rather use a different product two or three times than use this once. I prefer a more thorough (perhaps 'complicated') makeup removal routine. (Lip and eye remover -> Oil or cream cleanser -> Cleansing foam) If you're like me and have separate cleansing products for each step and do multiple cleansings, I wouldn't particularly recommend this product. 2. Ambiguous positioning 2-1) Neither an oil nor a cleansing water: After using this product, I realized that combining two functions into one product might have more drawbacks than benefits. Sure, it might work better than using two separate products (from a cleansing water perspective). However, oil is still the most effective for removing makeup (even with its strong cleansing power, it can't match oil), and it seems to undermine the convenience of cleansing water, which sacrifices some cleansing power for ease of use. For example, when you clean a makeup sponge with cleansing water, you can rinse it under running water, give it a quick wash with cleansing foam, and you're done. But with this product, you need to wash it thoroughly with warm water due to the slippery residue from the oil. The same applies when using it on your face. Sometimes when I'm really lazy, I might just use cleansing water and go to bed, but that's impossible with this product due to the oil residue! It's a product that forces you to be diligent (?). So I thought it might be better to go through a more thorough, albeit more cumbersome, cleansing routine. (Using products for each step) 2-2) Ingredients: This was an area that made me think, 'Why?' Everyone seems to have the same questions about the ingredients as I do. Honestly, I think cosmetics these days are all about the ingredients. There are plenty of good products out there that don't need to add anything extra. (Just look at the top-ranked products on Hwahae!) So if there's a product with similar cleansing power, or even slightly less but with better ingredients, I'd choose the one with better ingredients. Of course, if this product had a charm that outweighed concerns about ingredients, I'd use it! But for me, that's not the case. Of course, there might be people who find it suits them perfectly and can't do without it! If there are people out there with similar thoughts, skin type, and cleansing routines to mine, you might find it hard to be satisfied with this product.
TipSummary - Innisfree.. I don't think we're meant to be just yet..☆(2.5) It's a product that's really hard to rate. Its primary function as a cleanser is excellent, but there are too many other aspects to worry about. I can't give it half stars, so it's two stars, but I'd say it's about 2.5!

I always disliked how it left my skin feeling dry and prone to wrinkles after use. What I loved about this oil-water cleanser is that thanks to its oil layer, I didn't feel any dryness at all after wiping it off! That was really great. It didn't sting even when it got into my eyes. While I usually remove eyeliner, lipstick, and mascara with a separate remover, this one can remove everything together! That's a huge plus. The included cotton pads are large and folded like wet wipes. Where I'd normally use 6-7 regular cotton pads, I only needed 3 of these to cleanse thoroughly. Though these pads were less irritating than regular cotton, they weren't completely irritation-free.
ConsI got a pimple or two after using this. I'm not sure if it was because of this product though... Other than that, the only downside is that the lid is sealed so tightly it's hard to open!
