It has excellent cleansing effectiveness, even removing waterproof mascara, and it smells great too I have super sensitive skin around my eyes. While it's fine when applying makeup, every time after cleansing, my eyes would swell and itch. I always thought it was due to friction during cleansing, but after downloading the Hwahae app and checking, I found out there were five allergen-causing ingredients! - ah*******Oily SkinJun 4, 2022
The perfect blend of water and oil made it suitable even for oily skin without feeling heavy. It wasn't suffocating and while it didn't remove heavy makeup, it effectively cleansed light eye makeup like eyebrow products. It also removed sunscreen without any issues. I'd say the lack of any real drawbacks is a plus in itself! First off, I'm quite disappointed with the ingredients. As someone who prioritizes ingredient quality, the formulation is a deal-breaker for me. Additionally, the oil layer separates quickly, which was inconvenient. - 22*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 25, 2022
I always stock up on this during Innisfree's buy-one-get-one-free sales. Even the staff say it's a great product, but only those who use it really know. It's fantastic because it works for both oil and water-based makeup, so you can remove not just eye makeup but your entire face. It's really effective at removing eye makeup too! To be honest, there's nothing to complain about, which is why I keep buying and using it. No blurry vision after use! For those who find it difficult to remove eye makeup, soak a cotton pad and press it against your eyes for 5-10 seconds. This allows the product to dissolve the makeup. Take your time to let it work its magic. - ak******Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2022
I've already gone through several bottles of this. It's especially great for light makeup removal when I'm not wearing heavy foundation due to mask-wearing. It falls a bit short when it comes to removing mascara or intense color cosmetics. - yu*****Dry SkinNov 27, 2021
1. Price I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, so I often use cleansing oils. I bought this on impulse during a buy-one-get-one-free sale. 2. Cleansing effectiveness It removes makeup really well. I thought it was a cleansing water with a bit of oil mixed in, but the layers are actually separated. Even after shaking it well, it feels very oily. It doesn't emulsify with water at all, so I recommend using a strong foaming cleanser for your second cleanse. I use a gentle foam cleanser, and I think because the oil didn't wash off well, I got a lot of blemishes. And you know that greasy feeling when it gets in your eyes? It's terrifying. Since then, I use a separate lip and eye makeup remover and only use this on the rest of my face. Be careful not to get it in your eyes... Since it feels more like an oil than a water, I only recommend this for those with dry skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2021
It removes makeup incredibly well. I'm still using this product because it's so effective. I've been using only this for years and always stock up when it's on sale. The only downside is that the lid is difficult to open. It would be great if they could improve the lid design. - ho*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2021
With its oil content, it removes makeup much more effectively than plain water! It feels like they've combined the best of both water and oil cleansers. After wiping, it leaves a slippery feeling, so a second cleanse seems necessary. - sk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 15, 2021
It does remove makeup well, but the moment it gets in your eyes, you can't help but curse. It stings my eyes so badly. I guess Innisfree is known for their foam cleansers for a reason... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2021
The strengths of this cleansing water are that it's gentle on the skin and contains oil, so it doesn't dry you out. It also has excellent cleansing effectiveness, removing makeup thoroughly without causing any blemishes. The downside is that you need to shake it before use to mix the oil, which can be a bit of a hassle. It can even be used as an eye makeup remover without any irritation. - ok************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2021
Great value for money! The scent is pleasant and it's gentle on the skin. It struggles to remove my Peripera mascara. Maybe because it's not specifically for lip and eye makeup removal.
