ConsThe skin around my eyes became red. Those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid using this. The fragrance is what you'd typically call a 'cosmetic smell'.

I've always read these reviews, and now I'll write one myself. First, my skin type: dry on the cheeks, but oily in the T-zone - classic combination skin. 1. Excellent cleansing effectiveness! Since the product's main purpose is 'cleansing', I have to discuss its effectiveness in detail. After trying this product, I can say it has the best cleansing power among all the cleansing oil waters I've used. Looking at the attached photos (featuring Pia's Last Eyeliner, Clio Concealer, Peripera Tint, Stila Eyeshadow, Kiss Me Brush Eyeliner, Dejavu Mascara, and Tonymoly Water Tint), I tested it on notoriously stubborn makeup. Even though I waited 2 hours after application to let the makeup set, most of it came off easily. I deliberately used gentle motions as if cleansing my face (rubbing 5-6 times in the second photo and over 10 times in the third), and it removed makeup effectively without irritation. While it couldn't completely remove the Peripera tint, as someone who does a second cleanse anyway, I found the cleansing power quite satisfactory. After using it on my face for 5 days, I found it removed most makeup gently, except for some mascara. In conclusion, the cleansing effectiveness is excellent. (Very satisfied!) 2. Non-irritating Despite its strong cleansing power, it feels gentle and non-irritating. I didn't experience any burning or tingling sensation that sometimes occurs with other cleansing waters. 3. Hydrating Perhaps due to the added oil, this cleansing water leaves the skin feeling much more moisturized and glowy compared to others. It seems perfect for those with dry skin (though I don't have dry skin myself, I can imagine it would be great for that skin type). I intentionally removed my makeup and didn't apply any skincare afterwards. My skin felt hydrated for 30-40 minutes, though after that (possibly due to the heater), I felt a slight tightness and redness on my cheeks.
Cons1. The main factor making me hesitant about repurchasing is the fragrance. It's quite high up on the ingredients list, resulting in an overpowering artificial scent. This isn't good for the skin either. 2. Perhaps due to the oil added to enhance cleansing power, the finish wasn't great for me, as I have oily but dehydrated skin. Personally, I prefer a fresh, water-like clean finish, even if it means less hydration. However, those with dry skin might actually like this! 3. When used with the provided cotton pads, it felt a bit irritating. I wouldn't really recommend using the cotton pads...
TipWhile the price might seem a bit high for a cleansing water, its excellent cleansing power makes it worth it if you use it as a lip and eye makeup remover followed by a second cleanse, even when bought at full price. As a side note, I accidentally got bright red tint on my favorite sweater while testing this product outdoors. Worried about it spreading, I carefully dabbed it with this oil water on a cotton pad, and it removed the stain without spreading, even better than it removed makeup from my face! This could be really useful for those prone to getting makeup on their clothes. Also, for those who enjoy drinking, it might not be a bad idea to stock up on this during a sale for those nights when you're too tired to do a full cleansing routine... (wink)
