  Pros

  Skin type: Combination leaning towards dry (only slightly oily on the nose)/occasional small blemishes on chin. My usual skincare routine: Day: Skincera ampoule -> toner -> cream Night: Skincera ampoule -> all-in-one cream Makeup routine: Skincare (when applying makeup, I use Bella Monster pads before following the above order) -> primer (optional) -> sunscreen (Goongjoong Bi-cheop Sun Ding Ja Cha sunscreen) -> The Saem sensitive concealer (instead of foundation) then additional concealer (optional) Touch-ups: Usually no touch-ups, but if makeup is removed by sweat, I pat Age 20's compact only on chin and philtrum. Why I applied for The Hwahae Testers: I used the previous Skincera cream (green tube) and liked how it felt, so I wanted to try the new version. Also, with summer approaching, I was looking for a cream to balance oil and moisture. Texture: It's firmer than other soothing gel creams. It maintains its shape when squeezed from the tube. Application: As a soothing cream, it applies very smoothly. Absorption: Absorbs faster than the previous Skincera cream. Unlike typical soothing creams that just provide hydration, this one leaves a firming feeling after absorption. It felt less tight than regular soothing creams. However, it's still a soothing cream - after about 5 minutes, it's fully absorbed and that initial firmness is gone. Usage: I only used it in the morning after cleansing, as I already have an all-in-one cream for nighttime. Scent: Almost unscented. Packaging: Tube Objective review: My skin generally agrees with centella extract, so I didn't experience any blemishes. I find that Skincera products suit me well - I've never had a major breakout while using them. The gentle ingredients didn't cause any irritation. For a soothing cream, it's impressively firming, and even after absorption, my skin felt slightly dry rather than parched, which is excellent. Even during the changing seasons, I experienced less tightness.

  Cons

  Personally, I found it slightly disappointing compared to the pre-renewal cream. The previous version had a good balance of oiliness, making it light enough for summer use without excessive oil. Being a soothing cream, this one alone seems a bit lacking in balancing oil and moisture. Therefore, I think it might be more suitable for those with dry skin types to use the centella cream.

  Tip

  I think this cream would be suitable for those looking for a semi-matte finish. Additionally, for those who find soothing creams alone very drying, it might be good to layer Physiogel cream on top. I tried this combination and found it balanced oil and moisture exceptionally well. My face didn't feel tight, retained moisture, and makeup applied smoothly and lasted well.

  I love how hydrating and moisturizing it is, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance. It has a gel-like texture that applies smoothly and feels soothing. As someone with sensitive skin, I'm very particular about ingredients, and I'm pleased that this product has gentle formulation. So far, it's been working well for my sensitive skin without any issues.

  Cons

  Since it has a gel-like consistency, it's less rich in oils. This means it can feel a bit drying after some time has passed.
