I discovered after buying that this soothing cream is recommended for oily skin! It applies smoothly, is gentle, and absorbs quickly. Since it's for oily skin, it doesn't pill under makeup, so I'll likely use it during the day. I was surprised by its earthy brown color - it's interesting how they preserved the natural color of the ingredients. It feels like applying traditional herbal skincare. It would be perfect for dry skin in summer, and for winter, mixing with a face oil would be great. It's moisturizing and rich, so it doesn't dry out or feel tight quickly after application. It seems to absorb well into the skin, making it less drying than other creams for oily skin. The price is also good value for money. I bought it without realizing it's recommended for oily skin. It's a bit light for dry skin in winter. While it's moisturizing, it's not extremely hydrating - it's somewhere between a regular moisturizer and a nourishing cream. Although it's for oily skin, it should work for normal skin types, and even combination dehydrated skin if the condition isn't severe. I mix in a few drops of face oil. Since this product is already quite rich and dense, mixing with a regular nourishing cream might be too heavy. This product applies lightly and absorbs quickly as it's a soothing cream. I recommend it for those with oily skin lacking hydration. It's quite hydrating. The texture is more like a gel than a cream. Since it's winter, I've been mixing it with other oils. There's nothing I dislike about it. When you think of Skin1004, their Centella Cleansing Oil, Cream, and Sunscreen usually come to mind, but their Soothing Cream deserves some serious recognition too. It's absolutely perfect for summer use - lightweight, absorbs well, and provides deep hydration. As someone who personally prefers tube packaging, I highly recommend this cream. In winter, it can feel a bit tight on the skin after a while.
