Hello there! I'm here to share my experience after using Pure for 8 days as a Hwahae Tester. Although it was a short period, I actually found more drawbacks than benefits with this product. This is purely my personal review, so I'd recommend reading other opinions before making a purchase decision. * The texture is smooth and water-like with decent absorption. There's no noticeable scent, which is great for those sensitive to fragrances. * I appreciate the clean design of the bottle. Some products can be frustrating, either gushing out or requiring a hard squeeze, but this one dispenses just the right amount cleanly and easily. Well... the drawbacks outweigh the benefits... * It's moisturizing, yes, but the hydration feels... like you've just washed your face and haven't dried it yet. Simply put, it feels like you've just applied water. I use the 7-skin method, applying small amounts, but even then it doesn't seem to absorb well. Rather than sinking into the skin, it feels like it's just sitting on top. While it's definitely hydrating, the poor absorption means it's not great as a skin pack either, despite recommendations. * About 3-4 days after I started using it, I noticed some redness and small blemishes appearing on my face. I don't usually break out unless I use something that doesn't agree with my skin. On the last day, I went back to my regular products, and by morning, the irritation had calmed down a bit. If you have sensitive skin, I'd strongly suggest checking the ingredient list before purchasing. Overall, this product left me feeling quite disappointed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 18, 2020
After using this product for 10 days as part of The Hwahae Testers program: This toner is great for light application, given its minimal ingredient list. I was curious about its effects, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. One of its biggest advantages is the container design, which dispenses just the right amount without overdoing it. When applying, it feels like a standard toner. There weren't any standout pros or cons during use. It's almost like applying water - initially, it feels hydrating (more on this in the cons). It's fragrance-free! On good skin days, there might be a very subtle hint of alcohol, but it's so faint that it's practically unnoticeable. I really appreciated the lack of oiliness! There's no stickiness, so it doesn't feel unpleasant at all. It truly lives up to its name as a no-fuss toner. The hydration seems to be its weakest point. I mentioned it feels hydrating at first, but while it initially feels moist, the skin tends to dry out over time. It doesn't absorb into the skin very well. It's almost water-like, but there's a slight feeling of it sitting on top of the skin before evaporating. However, it's genuinely a middle-of-the-road toner. There's absolutely nothing negative or unpleasant about it, it just doesn't particularly stand out. Given that it's a toner, it's best to follow up with a more moisturizing product after application. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 18, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review: I've been using this product consistently since the day it arrived. My skin type is oily with redness and occasional blemishes. After using it for 8 days, I can say that I generally don't prefer heavy or sticky products, and I'm pleased that this one isn't like that at all. The scent is almost non-existent, and the texture is fluid, like water. If you're sensitive to cosmetic fragrances, I'd recommend this! While it's not exactly 'refreshing', it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, which I appreciate as someone who doesn't like products that feel too layered. I didn't experience any major blemishes or skin changes while using this product. So, I'll skip the before-and-after photos... My skin didn't improve dramatically, but it didn't worsen either! I thought I saw some small bumps for a moment, but it might have been my imagination...? I'm prone to those anyway. While it's not the most cost-effective in terms of quantity, I'd consider repurchasing if there's a sale on a larger size! It's a solid, reliable product. Although it's not extremely hydrating, my skin doesn't feel dry or tight after application. It would be great if they offered an emulsion to pair with it... It's a shame there's only the toner. The dispenser is well-designed - the product comes out in small drops, making it easy to control the amount. This would be great for those who prefer to dispense into their hands. I thought I was the only one who felt the absorption wasn't very quick, but it seems some others agree... It's not that it doesn't absorb at all, just a bit on the slower side? When I use it with a cotton pad, it feels like it sits on the surface a bit. I wouldn't recommend it for a toner mask.. Apart from this, I can't think of any other downsides! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 13, 2020
First off, I love the texture - it's a water type! I'm a fan of water-based formulas, so I was really pleased. Especially since I dislike sticky feelings, and this one is literally like water! The design and scent suggest gentle ingredients, so I feel confident using it without worry. The packaging is super sleek and pretty - it's one of those products that make you want to take photos! It's like a little brightening touch for your vanity. While I was satisfied using this through The Hwahae Testers program, I might have been a bit disappointed if I'd paid full price. Personally, I can't say the deep hydration is outstanding... It felt like it just sat on the surface before quickly disappearing, leaving my skin feeling dry again. Compared to other water-based toners I've used, it fell short in terms of moisture penetrating deep into the skin. Maybe because it dried so quickly, but instead of giving my skin a plump feeling, it somehow made it look a bit rough and dehydrated. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 24, 2020
The texture itself is moisturizing and very watery. It's literally just a water toner! I even felt a cooling effect when I tested it on my hand. The ingredients are good, and although there weren't many reviews, everyone said it was nice, so I decided to buy it after some consideration. But after purchasing, I regret it... It really shows how important it is to have a variety of reviews from many people! They say it absorbs well and sinks in quickly, but that's absolutely never the case! Let me give you a detailed review. I usually have sensitive skin, but when I use basic products that suit me, my skin stays clear without any breakouts. However, after switching to this toner, I started getting small bumps and my skin texture became uneven. You know how good ingredients can mean slower absorption, right? That's exactly what this product is like. When you apply it to your face, it feels like it's sitting on top rather than sinking in. The particles or droplets of the toner seem to be all over the place. Even if you pat it in, the toner just moves around on the surface instead of absorbing. I've never seen a toner that absorbs so poorly. And when you do a toner mask and remove it, you can see the marks where the cotton pad was... Since it doesn't absorb well even with patting, it feels like the toner evaporates quickly. I think my skin became textured due to lack of hydration and moisture since the product doesn't penetrate deep into the skin. After all, uneven skin texture is caused by an imbalance in oil and moisture, right? I wish I could upload a video to show you, but I can't, which is frustrating!
