It's lightweight and quite usable, especially when it's on sale. Didn't cause any blemishes. Sometimes it feels too watery, and the price seems a bit steep for what you get... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2021
Feels light and refreshing as soon as you apply it. While using this product doesn't necessarily prevent all skin issues, it doesn't seem to cause additional problems either. Considering factors like poor skin condition, mask-wearing, and summer heat, it's unrealistic to expect this one product to completely prevent skin flare-ups. Overall, it seems like a decent product. It's not something I'd rave about or highly recommend to everyone, but it's not bad either. My skin didn't achieve that 'Inner Glow' look, but I wouldn't discourage others from trying it. It's good for a light, refreshing application, and given its gentle ingredients, I've been using it as a toner pack. It's a great product for a quick toner pack application. Well... the hydration isn't quite as intense as the ads suggest. It's such a light product that it absorbs more quickly than other toners, leaving you wondering where all the moisture went. I found that generously applying it as a toner pack gives more satisfying results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinFeb 6, 2021
This toner is incredibly lightweight. I've always used thicker, more viscous toners, so at first I was surprised by how watery this one is. But as I kept using it, I found myself getting used to the texture. I'm still trying to adjust to this toner because I'm used to thicker, more substantial formulas. So far, I haven't quite adapted. It feels like I'm just letting water soak into my skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 12, 2020
Great value for money with a generous amount. It's lightweight and non-sticky, making it perfect for comfortable use even in summer. While it's a hydrating toner, it feels almost too light. The moisture level isn't particularly high, but I suppose that's to be expected from a toner. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 3, 2020
I really liked how lightweight it felt. It seems perfect for summer use... I think I'll need to use it more to really tell. For now, it's just okay. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 19, 2020
Application: The water-like texture feels comfortable on the skin, applying gently without irritation and giving an overall clean sensation. Absorption: I loved how quickly it absorbs when patted in, leaving no residue due to its lightweight nature. This was especially satisfying given the current hot weather, as I prefer lighter skincare products. Hydration: While I'm unsure about its performance in dry winter conditions, for now, applying this alone was enough to make my skin feel moisturized. As with most toners, don't expect too much in terms of functionality or nourishment. It's best suited as a light hydration booster. Layering it multiple times seems sufficient for summer skincare. Plus, the generous amount allows for liberal application without worry. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2020
Here's a review from one of The Hwahae Testers. I've been using this product for about 10 days. -Ingredients I have super sensitive skin and can't use just anything, but this didn't cause any blemishes! I've had experiences where even products known for gentle ingredients caused reactions, so this one is definitely mild. -Scent You can consider it almost fragrance-free! -Hydration This is really great for summer use! It's lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving your face feeling fresh. This makes it perfect for layering multiple times! -Texture It's a watery product with no stickiness, making it convenient with its quick absorption. -Easy to control the amount used Lately, I've been wearing a mask and preparing for final exams, which has made my face very tired and extremely dry. Maybe that's why, but I feel the hydration is a bit lacking. It has no effect on deep dryness... Those with extremely dry skin might be disappointed. Also, this product might be too drying for winter use. However, except for those with extremely dry skin, I think even dry skin types could use this! -If you layer it multiple times using small amounts, it can provide more hydration and might compensate for the drawbacks experienced by those with extremely dry skin. -Using it as a skin pack with cotton pads is highly recommended! It definitely reduces facial heat and replenishes moisture!!!!! I tend to have a lot of facial heat, and I could see a definite effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2020
I was surprised by how incredibly lightweight this product is. I immediately thought it would be perfect for the hot summer months. The texture is water-like, with a very low viscosity that feels incredibly light on the skin. It absorbs well, almost disappearing into the skin instantly, leaving you with a feeling of deep hydration. There's hardly any scent, and the overall experience is refreshingly clean. All in all, it felt like a no-frills product that delivers exactly what it promises. While you can feel the deep hydration, there's almost no surface-level moisturizing effect. If you're looking for that typical moisturizing sensation, you might find this product a bit disappointing! I found this great for doing a skin pack. It's excellent for soothing and cooling the skin. Although it might seem wasteful, using cotton pads that absorb toner well doesn't actually use up too much product. Since it's such a light formula, I recommend layering it under a cream or a product with more oil content on the opposite side of the pad for a more nourishing effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2020
Skin type: Combination dehydrated, Sensitive The Hwahae Testers review (7 days of use) Scent: Completely fragrance-free! No worries about polarizing opinions on the smell. Texture: A lightweight water toner. Perfect for those with oily skin rich in sebum. There's absolutely no oily feeling! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I love toners that provide hydration without oil, and this product fits the bill perfectly. Highly recommended for those looking for a light first-step toner! Effectiveness: I had small red blemishes before using this, but this toner helped calm them down significantly. With its clean ingredient list, it didn't cause any breakouts and was great for soothing the skin. Absorption: Some people found the absorption lacking, but I found it absorbed quickly just by gently pressing or patting it into the skin. Packaging: I want to praise Under Ten here. They use paper instead of plastic for cushioning the product. It's a small detail, but isn't it these little things that make a difference? Usage: I used it like a regular toner, but given its watery texture, it would be great for those who enjoy the 7-skin method. Personally, I've been keeping it in the fridge lately as the weather's gotten warmer, and I love the cooling effect! Price: It might feel a bit expensive for the amount you get. Some people might find it burdensome. Skin type: While it worked well for my combination dehydrated skin, I feel it might not be enough for those with dry skin. Its lightweight nature is both a pro and a con... Even I apply two layers at night and follow up with an emulsion or cream. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2020
My skin type is sensitive and prone to blemishes, but I didn't experience any breakouts while using this product! When I first tried it, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount and the lack of fragrance - it was quite intriguing! As I continued using it, I kept wondering why there was no scent, but then I noticed a faint sweet aroma every time I applied the toner. If you're not paying close attention like I was, you might think it's completely fragrance-free. The toner has a light consistency, similar to water. I usually apply it 2-3 times, patting it in to help absorption. While it doesn't absorb super quickly, applying it multiple times and patting it in prevents my skin from feeling tight or dry. It also works great as a skin pack! I soak a cotton pad with the toner, chill it in the fridge briefly, and use it as a mask. It calms my skin and provides a cooling effect. When I did this before makeup, my foundation went on smoothly! Overall, I'm very satisfied to have found another product that doesn't cause irritation for my sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin who can hardly use any products, I'm grateful this doesn't cause breakouts. So, I don't have many complaints about its blemish-fighting abilities. However, the dispenser opening is quite small, which initially made me wonder if it was faulty. It might be fine for those who like to control the amount precisely, but for someone like me who prefers to dispense generously and apply liberally, it felt a bit restrictive. Also, since it's a water-like toner, be careful not to dispense too much into your hand as it can drip through your fingers. It's best to control the amount when applying. Due to its lightweight consistency, those with dry skin might find it insufficient after just one application. I'd recommend using it as an exfoliating toner or layering it multiple times like I do. I use this product as the first step in my skincare routine! My dermatologist advised against using products with emollients or high oil content, so I mainly use a toner and hydrating moisturizer combination. I use the Sea Grape Hydrating Toner as an exfoliating toner first, then apply it several times, patting it into my skin before finishing with a moisturizer. Even though I'm only using toner and moisturizer, my skin doesn't feel dry or tight. Instead, it feels deeply hydrated! Before going out, I finish with sunscreen. This routine helps my makeup apply smoothly and keeps my skin hydrated. It seems to be a great basic skincare method!
