It's a cool-toned palette with a hint of spring warmth! The brown tones are surprisingly easy to layer and create a beautiful color effect. With my slightly deep undertone, the colors seem to work quite well for me. As expected from Etude, a brand known for its pigmentation prowess, the color payoff is absolutely fantastic! Drugstore cool-toned eyeshadow palettes always leave something to be desired... There's inevitably a shade you'll rarely use. While the pigmentation is good, there's some excess powder kickup. When using a brush, you'll need to tap it off or swipe it on a tissue first. Etude, you've got some homework to do... - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2022
I bought this without high expectations, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The ash gray? brown eyeshadow is really appealing. There's no brush included, so you have to apply it with your fingers. Also, the case has surprisingly sharp edges that could potentially poke you. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 13, 2022

My complexion always comes out as Summer Cool Light when I do self personal color diagnostics! I fell head over heels for grayish tones this spring and bought this product after searching around. ✔️ As someone who suits grayish tones more than white ones, this was an excellent choice for me! ✔️ It's a 10-color palette, and I'm satisfied that there's not a single shade I'd consider wasting! ✔️ There are brown colors, but they're completely free of yellow undertones, making them perfect for contouring! ✔️ The hibiscus shade isn't as intense as it looks, so I use it for eyeliner or in the outer corner of the eye! ✔️ I love how big the mirror is! For eye makeup, you need to look closely in a mirror, and having a large one in the palette is super convenient! I highly recommend this to those who love contouring makeup! ☑️ There's some excess powder fallout... It's not too noticeable when applying with fingers, but with a brush, there's a lot of fallout, so you need to tap off the palette after use. ☑️ For a palette aimed at cool light tones, it feels like it might suit muted tones better? ☑️ For warm tones, I'm not sure... Looking at the photo where the skin appears yellowish, it doesn't seem to match well. ☑️ The pigmentation is a bit weak, so you need to apply about two layers with a brush! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 22, 2021
The colors are subtle and generally neutral, making it suitable for various complexions without much concern. There's even a muted brown-grayish shade that allows for contouring with just this palette. The overall subtlety of the colors means that even on fair skin, it doesn't look muddy or excessive, which I really appreciate. While the subtle pigmentation is a plus, those with darker skin tones might need to layer it multiple times for it to show up. Also, the shimmery shades have a slightly gritty texture, so they don't apply as smoothly. As a result, the shimmer doesn't seem to adhere well to the eyes. I use this to create a fresh and soft look. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2021
Perfect for cool-toned skin! Most cool-toned eyeshadow palettes are overwhelmingly pink, which isn't great. But this one has just the right mix of browns that complement cool undertones, making it absolutely fantastic. To be honest, there's nothing really bad about it. If I had to nitpick, I guess the packaging looks a bit cheap...? You can do everything from eyebrows to nose contouring to eyeshadow all in one palette. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 4, 2021
This is truly a must-have for cool-toned beauties! The adherence, application, and longevity are all fantastic. As a summer cool-mute tone myself, I love that the shades in the palette aren't yellowy or reddish, making it perfect for those with cool undertones. The colors are subtle, beautiful browns. And oh my, the shimmer shadows are absolutely gorgeous! The palette feels like a collection of daily-wear colors all in one place, allowing you to create any look or mood you desire. The soft, subtle hues make it a versatile product that's not overwhelming to use. This might not be ideal for warm-toned folks. Since it's designed for cool undertones, I wouldn't recommend it to those with warm complexions. Apart from that, I can't find a single flaw with this product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2020
I have hooded eyes with fatty lids, but the glitter and shimmer went on beautifully without making them look puffy. As someone with cool undertones, when I apply Lavender Tea to my eyes, it creates a sultry grayish-brown effect that's absolutely stunning. I really wish they'd sell this shade individually! The color payoff is a bit on the lighter side, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who usually prefer more intense pigmentation. There are also some shades with a strong white base, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. For a delicate makeup look, start by applying a thin layer of Ginger Chamomile as a base. Then use Rose Hip to create a shadow on the inner corner and outer V of the eye. Follow up with a light touch of Soy Chai Tea to softly deepen the crease. Finally, sweep the shimmer and glitter across the entire eyelid. I also like to add a pop of color to the inner corner using Rosebud Tea. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2020
1. Harmonious color combination: Pink & Brown Etude House has finally hit the mark! All the colors are absolutely gorgeous. It's so touching that none of the 10 shades are disposable. I was worried the pigmentation might be too intense before buying, but all the colors are appropriate and blend harmoniously on the eyes. Etude House is known for warm tones, so I was a bit apprehensive, but this palette seems to have toned down the warmth the most! 2. Perfect for daily use Most of the colors aren't overly pigmented or dark, making it an ideal palette for everyday use! I've been using it daily, alternating between the left and right side shadows. Usually, when I apply eyeshadow, my eyes look puffy and somewhat sickly, but with this palette, that's no longer an issue. I'm truly delighted! It's the ultimate natural makeup palette that can be used year-round, regardless of the season. 1. Excess powder I used both the included brush and my own, and there was some fallout. But if the colors are pretty, that's what matters! This level of fallout is tolerable. 2. Palette design The palette design feels a bit childish... I wish it looked more sophisticated and prettier! I think I'll be sticking with this palette, so I'll be waiting for a redesign. 3. Subtle shimmer The shimmer is a bit disappointing! Was this palette designed for completely natural and subdued makeup? Even the shimmer shades are very subtle compared to other shimmer shadows. When applied, they don't seem to last long either. I wouldn't recommend this to those looking for a definite sparkle! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 27, 2020
For shade 21, it's perfect for both summer cool light and muted tones (light complexion). Here's what I love about it: 1. It's the ultimate cool mute palette! Every shade is gorgeous - those redness-free brown hues are absolutely divine. If you're dreaming of a soft, rosy eye look, grab this palette right now! 2. This versatile palette does it all - from base to highlighter and even nose contouring. Shade 5 'Peppermint' is a grayish tone (barely any brown) that works wonders for nose contouring. Shade 6 'Rosebud Tea' gives a beautiful sheen when used as a highlighter on the inner corners, nose tip, bridge, and cupid's bow. 3. The muted colors prevent puffy-looking eyes. As someone with hooded lids even after double eyelid surgery, I appreciate how this palette doesn't make my eyes look swollen. 4. The subtle pigmentation is forgiving for beginners who aren't used to precise eye makeup application. It's hard to mess up with this palette! 1. The powder fallout is intense, especially when using a brush. Shade 7 'Ginger Chamomile' is the worst offender - you could practically re-press the fallout and use it again! 2. The pigmentation is inconsistent. Some colors are vivid, while others barely show up no matter how much you layer. It's a bit unbalanced. 3. While shade 2 'Cherry Blossom Tea' has pretty, clear glitters, they don't adhere well to the skin. They just sit on top without really blending in. 4. I wish there were more shades suitable for eyeliner or creating depth. Even the brown shades apply quite sheer, which is disappointing for someone like me who loves dimensional eye looks. This palette has the most matte shadows I've ever used, so I recommend leaving a bit more oil on your eyelids than usual. Remember, if you remove too much oil from your eyelids, the eyeshadow won't apply well! Eye Makeup Tutorial: 1. Use shade 7 'Ginger Chamomile' as a base, including under the eyes 2. Apply shade 4 'Hibiscus' along the crease and fill in the outer v 3. Use shade 10 'Soy Chai Tea' on the outer corner 4. For the finishing touch, pat shade 2 'Cherry Blossom Tea' on the lower lash line and shade 8 'Marigold' in the center of the lid
