I bought it because the color looked pretty, and it really is a brick shade! It's quite intense. It looks beautiful when applied in winter!! However, you should consider if it suits you well before purchasing. It's so intense that you really need to apply just a tiny bit. The staying power is great though. Just make sure to think about whether it suits you well before buying. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 23, 2022
< BBIA: Last Velvet Lip Tint 25. Classic Drama > - Color: First off, it's a unique shade you don't often see in drugstore brands..!! It's like a dried rose, but a bit deeper, and also reminds me slightly of chocolate... - Staying power: Since it's a matte tint, the longevity is definitely impressive. Even after eating, a good amount of color remains, which I really like. - Pigmentation: The color payoff is incredibly strong, so if you apply too much, it might completely cover your natural lip color. I recommend applying just a small amount to the inner part of your lips. - Scent: The fragrance isn't exactly unpleasant, but it's too strong and has a somewhat heavy feel to it, which I personally dislike. If they changed just the scent, I think I'd reach for it more often. - Texture: It has a slightly thick consistency. When applied to the lips, it definitely feels different from the matte tints that are popular these days. Also, it's so matte that those who prefer moisturizing lip products might not enjoy it..! I'm not a big fan of matte lips either, so I usually layer a gloss or lip balm over it as shown in the photo. - Emphasizes dead skin cells: Naturally, being a matte type tint, it tends to accentuate dry patches on the lips. So on days when my lips aren't in great condition, applying this can actually make them look worse. I only use it when my lips are in good shape. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2022
It's the perfect brick shade! Looks beautiful when applied over a base. If it gets discontinued... I might just have to raid BBIA's headquarters! Nothing particularly bad, but it can be a bit too vibrant when worn alone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2022
The color payoff is beautiful! It's a lovely brick shade, just like in the photo. Absolutely fantastic! The tint tends to accumulate around the opening of the container. Other than that, no complaints! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 20, 2021
First off, I absolutely love the color! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who's a fan of that subtle brick-red shade. It fades away too easily, unfortunately. After just one meal, it's like my lips turn pale again. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2021
The color is a perfect brick red, absolutely gorgeous with no hint of pink. It stains purely red, without any pink undertones. None. (The rest appears to be nonsensical characters and not actual words) As a base, it's like the classic from 'My Love from the Star' or was it 'Melo'...? Something like that. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 4, 2021
I love that it's a unique shade - a deep brick color with an extra touch of red. Honestly, I can't think of a single thing to complain about... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2021
This is truly a tint I've repurchased multiple times. The color is absolutely gorgeous, with a hint of brick red that I adore. The design is also beautiful. While it does tend to smudge and the staying power isn't great, I keep buying it because of the color. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2021
After applying the lip product and gently blotting with a tissue, it doesn't transfer much and lasts a long time. The color payoff is a naturally deep brick shade. My lips tend to be dry, so I need to apply lip balm first to prevent the product from cracking. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 30, 2020
Hello! This is Chu-ryun :) The product I'm reviewing today is the (: Pia Last Velvet Lip Tint No. 25 Makjang's Essence :) from the Essence series. I'm going to review the Makjang's Essence. This color is a very deep, brick-red shade that can only be worn by those with warm undertones. It looks like gochujang (Korean chili paste) at first glance, and I really wondered how to apply it. But oh my, when you use the Flower Than Flower series as a base and just lightly apply the Makjang's Essence on top, it turns out so pretty! Color - Deep brick-red Longevity - Terrible! It disappears almost completely after a meal. The formula is a semi-matte glossy texture, not completely matte. The transparent packaging makes it easy to see the color. It's on sale at a low price, so go grab it! The longevity is the only downside... It's the only issue with this product. As mentioned before, if you use the Flower Than Flower series as a base and just lightly apply the Makjang's Essence on top, it turns out so pretty!
