Color: While it appears to be a reddish-brown in the tube, when applied to the lips it gives off a toned-down red-orange vibe. Texture: True to its 'velvet' name, it applies matte but feels like you're smoothing on a velvety cream. Unlike other matte tints that emphasize dead skin cells and settle into fine lines, this one doesn't accentuate texture or creases, which I really appreciated. Longevity and Staining: There's a slight staining effect, but it tends to fade quickly when eating. However, if you're not eating, the staying power is pretty good. As someone with a deep undertone, wearing it alone was a bit challenging. Still, it works great for gradient lips. Given its affordable price and good value for money, I'd recommend giving it a try at least once. After prolonged use, tint can build up around the closure, which might transfer to your hands. Other than that, I can't think of any significant drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 17, 2022
Unlike typical drugstore brands where autumn colors, especially brown lips, are usually 85% red and 15% brown, Bbia's approach feels like 85% brown and 15% red. The color is distinct - a toned-down brown-brick shade that warm-toned individuals will absolutely adore. Oh, I'm talking about myself here! If I had to nitpick... well, after prolonged use, the application feel changes slightly. When there's a buildup of product around the tube opening, it tends to come out clumped together. This is more noticeable due to its velvety texture. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 9, 2022
Even though it's from a drugstore brand and claims to be brown, most shades I've tried still lean more red. But this one is the perfect brown-red! As a warm-toned gal, this lip color is an absolute must-have for me. I'm already on my fourth tube and plan to keep using it. If you have warm undertones or love brown shades, give this a try - you'll be blown away! The velvet finish can be a bit drying. Apply some lip balm beforehand or make sure your lips are well-moisturized, and you'll have no problem. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2022
The color payoff is beautiful! It's a lovely brick shade, just like in the photo. Absolutely fantastic! The tint tends to accumulate around the opening of the container. Other than that, no complaints! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 20, 2021
The color has this unique vibe, somewhere between brown and orange! Plus, it's budget-friendly, which is great. The staying power isn't the best... And if you apply it too thick, the color becomes overly vibrant. Try applying it in a thin layer for a subtle, pretty look. Or you could mix it with a lip balm for a softer effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 1, 2021
I've been using this for 2 years now... It's absolutely fantastic, perfect for those with a deep undertone. When you first apply it, you might think 'Huh? Is this brown?' But once it's on your lips, it develops into a beautiful color. It can accentuate dead skin cells a bit due to its slightly thick formula. Also, it's a bit challenging to use as a blusher. The texture is quite rich, so even a tiny drop can be quite intense on the cheeks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 4, 2021
This was once my absolute favorite favorite favorite product! First off, it's a really deep chili brown color. When you look at it, it might seem like an unappealing shade, but when you apply it to your lips, oh my goodness, it's absolutely stunning! It suits warm autumn skin tones incredibly well, but for those with cool summer complexions or very fair skin, this might be their worst nightmare. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 7, 2020
A color that suits deep undertones beautifully. It's a red with strong brown undertones. While the color is truly gorgeous, it's disappointing that it tends to sit on top of the lips rather than blending in when applied. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2020
This velvety tint has a deep, rich red-brown hue that exudes a dark, sultry vibe. Personally, I'm a big fan of these brick-red tones, so it really appealed to me. As expected with a velvet tint, it did accentuate dead skin cells on the lips a bit. I always moisturize my lips with lip balm before bed to soften any flakes, then exfoliate in the morning before applying. This routine works wonders! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 15, 2020
This is honestly my all-time favorite tint - it's absolutely gorgeous! The color is a rich brown-red that's perfect for deep warm skin tones. I snagged it on sale elsewhere for just $6, and it's seriously the best value for money. It lasts so long, the color is beautiful, and at $6, it's a total steal. I'm already on my third tube... haha! It can accentuate dead skin cells a bit. While it doesn't come off super easily, it does eventually wash off. Here's a pro tip: Buy some Vaseline, apply it to your skin, do your full face and eye makeup, then gently press a tissue over the Vaseline to remove excess. Apply this tint last, and it looks stunning with no emphasis on dead skin cells.
