This cream has been my winter savior since it came out. While I used to be fine with just a watery cream until early fall, I found the intensive version perfect for winter. It's not too thick, absorbs well, and feels like a regular watery cream with added nourishment. I love the subtle herbal scent too. Everything about it is satisfying... except the price. I stocked up when they had the large size on sale, but this is my last jar. It's funny that 100ml is considered 'large' - I think it could be bigger. As a student, the price is a bit steep for frequent use. On those bitterly cold days when you feel like your face might crack, try mixing in a drop or two of oil before applying. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 16, 2021
I received this as a gift and started using it. I've tried other Primera products before, but I didn't have high expectations, thinking all moisturizers would be similar. However, this cream, designed for those with drier skin among the Alpine Berry cream line, worked well even for my combination dehydrated skin without feeling heavy. The scent is a refreshing herbal aroma, and the texture is between a cream and a balm, not greasy at all. I was surprised when I first opened it, expecting something like Physiogel cream, but found a more balm-like consistency, so I initially only used it at night. But it absorbs incredibly fast, doesn't leave an oily residue, and seems to 'melt' into the skin (you'll understand the difference when you try it). The finish isn't greasy, so I tried it in the morning before makeup. It absorbs quickly while providing a moisturizing coating, making it great for makeup application. I'm very satisfied. Thanks to its balm-like texture, it seems suitable for use even in dry seasons, despite being a moisturizer. I couldn't find any drawbacks. Some people might find it heavy for daytime use, but I use it morning and night without issues, even though I have combination dehydrated skin rather than extremely dry skin. I just apply a thinner layer in the morning. Due to its thick consistency, which is between a balm and a cream, a spatula is essential for application. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 23, 2021
Even after applying toner and emulsion post-cleansing, my face always felt tight and dry. After trying various moisturizers, I've finally found this gem that keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day long. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, making it suitable even for those with sensitive noses! The price point is a bit high, but given how well it works, I can't really complain. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2020
The texture is rich and the scent is decent, I guess... To be honest, I had such a hard time with this product that I can barely think of any positives. Those with deep dryness should avoid this product. It's only oily and sits on top of the skin without absorbing. My skin is extremely dehydrated, and after using this, I woke up in the morning with my skin feeling so dry it was painful. I really struggled with the discomfort in the morning. Please, for your own sake, buy a different hydrating moisturizer... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2020
The basic products from this brand have a lovely scent and provide great hydration! The Intensive Cream has a slightly firm and rich texture. I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to oiliness. When I apply thick or heavy creams, my skin tends to produce excess oil. However, if you use just the right amount, it should be fine. After using it, I checked the ingredients and realized they're not as good as I thought... The texture is a bit heavy, and when applying it, it feels like it's forming a film on the skin's surface. It seems using a moderate amount would be best. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2020
Compared to the Physiogel product I've been using, this one matches up well in terms of how it absorbs, its moisturizing effect, and how hydrating it feels. As a bonus, it has a lovely lemon scent that's quite refreshing! It seems perfect for use during seasonal changes. This was my first time trying a Primera product, and it exceeded my expectations! In terms of product effectiveness, I didn't find any particular downsides. However, I also couldn't identify any standout benefits compared to other products. Additionally, I find squeeze-tube emulsions more convenient than scoop-out ones, so after finishing this, I'll likely return to my trusty Physiogel product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 17, 2020
This cream is suitable for everyone to use without any issues. It effectively balances both oil and moisture. When applied, it doesn't feel overly cold, making it comfortable on the skin. During summer, using this alone was enough to maintain a good oil and moisture balance. The fragrance is also pleasant, with a subtle blend of aromatic herbal and aquatic notes. The texture is slightly thick, so it doesn't absorb as smoothly as I'd like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 5, 2020
The fragrance is lovely. I've used this product without any blemishes. It's non-irritating, provides great hydration, and works well as a moisturizer. However, if you apply too much before makeup, it might feel like it's pilling a bit. When I applied a lot before makeup, it felt like it was pilling slightly. I mainly use a generous amount at night before bed. During the day, I apply just a small amount. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 2, 2020
I love Primera's basic skincare products - they're all reliable, have a pleasant scent, and provide great hydration. The Alpine Berry Cream comes in gel, watery, and intensive versions. As someone with combination-dry skin, I use the intensive cream in winter and the watery cream in spring and summer. The intensive cream has a slightly firm texture, but it absorbs well, smells lovely, and leaves my skin feeling super moisturized. I'll definitely repurchase it in the future. For those with extremely dry skin, this cream might not be enough in winter. Even I felt some deep dryness when my office was particularly arid. During harsh winters, try applying this cream once, letting it absorb for about 5 minutes, then applying a second layer. This helps combat dryness better when you're in the office during the day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2020
Gentle on the skin with no irritation or blemishes, and a pleasantly subtle fragrance While I liked both the Alpine Oil-Free and Watery Cream, this one was truly disappointing. It's too thick and difficult to spread. Despite its rich texture, it lacks hydration. How to describe it... It's like a nourishing cream without the oiliness? Mixing it with face oil made it slightly better
