The author's skin type - Even in summer, their skin texture is still not great. Drawbacks: After using this, you won't want to use anything else. The original plan was to use it 2-3 times a week, but now they find themselves reaching for it every time they wash their face. They even bought a low pH cleansing foam, but it's barely been touched. Enzyme Powder: The author doesn't often use exfoliating peeling gels or wash-off packs. They occasionally use wash-off packs for pore cleansing, but not for exfoliation or improving skin texture. They've been managing their dead skin cells and skin texture with enzyme powder cleansing products. They hope everyone has tried this... After using it, the quality of cleansing feels different, and the skin texture becomes incredibly smooth. Even when applying skincare afterwards, the absorption is noticeably improved. Honestly, they've tried both this product and the Papa**** product. Since they're both enzyme powders with similar functions, you could use whichever one is on sale. The Papa**** product has finer powder, but this one lathers better. Once it touches water and foams up, the granules disappear anyway, so the slightly coarser powder in this product isn't irritating. The key takeaway is that they recommend using any enzyme powder cleansing product. The opening is a bit wide, which can make it difficult to control the amount dispensed. Also, after continued use, powder residue builds up around the opening, making it look a bit messy. They think that if the opening were narrower, it would be easier to control the amount and reduce spillage that makes it messy. You can use a foam net to create rich lather, which is recommended for those who want a truly gentle cleanse using only foam. When creating the foam, you can adjust the water to either completely dissolve the powder or leave some granules for extra exfoliation. Also, if you leave the foam on your skin, it becomes a foam mask. This is said to help absorb dead skin cells, so a foam mask is also recommended! You can also use it as a scrub by taking out some powder and adding just a tiny bit of water. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2023
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I experience deep dryness with oily surface, especially dry cheeks and an oily T-zone. While I don't have super sensitive skin, I'm prone to blemishes. Scent: There's a subtle, slightly sweet nutty aroma reminiscent of grains, which I personally enjoyed. Texture/Feel: It's a powder wash with fine exfoliating particles. When mixed with water, it creates a foam for cleansing. The scrub particles are gentle, causing no irritation. Notably, there's no feeling of tightness after washing, making it ideal for dry or sensitive skin types. Feel: While I appreciated its gentleness and lack of tightness, those seeking a refreshing post-cleanse feeling might find it slightly disappointing. It doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean or invigorated, so keep that in mind if you're considering purchasing. Water ratio: Be careful with the amount of water you use. Too much water causes the powder to wash away, while too little turns it into a paste that can clump. I've experienced it forming lumps before. Use just enough water to dampen your hands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 24, 2023
Zero irritation on my skin. No tightness after washing. Great ingredients that don't leave residue. These three points alone already earn it 5 stars... I've used about half the bottle and love it so much that I bought one as a gift for my sister too! Be careful with water control! When mixing with water, do it slowly. If you add water too quickly, the product might spill. So, take it easy! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2021
I bought this because I had a lot of small blemishes. First off, the cleansing foam is incredibly gentle! Although the powder doesn't completely dissolve, which might seem irritating, it's actually very fine and doesn't cause any irritation at all! Highly recommended for sensitive skin. The cleansing power is amazing. Even when removing makeup, the fine particles work so well that if you're thorough, it's enough for light makeup removal in just one cleanse! I'm not sure about its effect on small blemishes, but after washing with this, my skin feels incredibly smooth - it's no joke! The next morning when I wash my face, my skin feels so silky that makeup applies beautifully! At first, I thought I'd use it up quickly because it's a powder, but surprisingly, there's enough to last more than a month even with generous use! Since it's a powder, when you try to lather it up with water in your hands for cleansing, some of the powder tends to slip away... Even if you try to be careful, it's a bit wasteful. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 9, 2021
I love how it rinses off cleanly without any residue, leaving my skin feeling soft. The gentle ingredients didn't cause any blemishes while I was using it. The natural, non-artificial grain scent was pleasant and not off-putting. The biggest drawback of powder cleansers, in my opinion, is the hassle of mixing them with water. It's frustrating to see some of the powder wasted as it flows away during mixing. I bought this after reading reviews from others and popular beauty Instagram posts, but unlike their experiences, I didn't see any dramatic dead skin cell or blackhead removal. (This could just be my skin's reaction, though.) For even smoother cleansing results, try leaving the foam on your face for 30 seconds before rinsing off. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2020
Pros: First off, it's not irritating and feels incredibly gentle. My skin is currently in a bad state with forehead whiteheads, forcing me to do daily self-extractions (sigh). Despite having wounds, this cleanser doesn't sting at all. It cleanses softly, and after washing, my skin doesn't feel tight or stripped. Instead, it leaves my skin feeling oh-so-soft, which I absolutely love! Cons: It doesn't produce a rich lather, so you end up using more product. When you try to mix a larger amount with water in your hands, it seems like you end up wasting more than you use. Tips: While it doesn't lather well on its own, using a foam net creates a dense, luxurious foam even with a small amount. This makes cleansing possible with less product. A foam net seems essential, but if you don't have one, a shower puff works too! Texture: Unlike typical washes, this is a powder type. The particles are about the size of baking soda - not too fine, with a nice granular feel. Feel on skin: It doesn't leave your skin feeling overly dry or tight. After use, your skin feels comfortably soft. Cleansing power: One cleanse is enough to remove most makeup very effectively. Scent: It has a sort of 'mixed grain' scent? It's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of smell, but I didn't mind it. I liked that it's gentle on the skin. While creating foam might be a bit troublesome, using a shower puff should do the trick. It's great for gentle cleansing with soft foam! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2020
I've been so eager to try this powder wash! First off, the scent is amazing! It might be polarizing, but I personally love nutty fragrances, and this has a delightful grainy, roasted aroma reminiscent of powdered mixed grains. The biggest advantage is that it combines cleansing and exfoliation in one step! The powder contains small particles that gently scrub while cleansing, potentially helping with blackheads and whiteheads too. Its cleansing effectiveness is quite good! With double cleansing, it can even remove waterproof makeup thoroughly. (The photo I've attached shows results using just the powder wash alone, without double cleansing.) It's a cleanser with clean ingredients and no harsh chemicals, making it suitable for worry-free use! Since it exfoliates, using it daily might be too harsh on the skin, so I'm using it only once or twice a week. The wide opening makes it difficult to control the amount dispensed - it tends to pour out quickly. It's quite pricey! It's $24 for just 50 grams. When used alone, it doesn't produce a particularly rich lather. As this cleanser includes exfoliation, which could potentially be too intense, I've been using it selectively on areas that need extra care. It's particularly effective for treating nose sebum, blackheads, and whiteheads. Personally, I prefer a rich lather, so I've been using it with an electric cleansing brush to create a more luxurious foam.
