It's really nice how fine the particles become when they touch water. I bought this after seeing a friend use it. It's a bit tricky to control the amount... But it's great for daily dead skin cell removal. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2025
Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin, super sensitive skin, atopic skin Cleansing effectiveness: The cleansing power was decent. I could feel the granules, which made it seem like an exfoliating product. I wondered if it would effectively remove dead skin cells, and it did reduce skin texture! It might be better for those who do double cleansing rather than using it alone. (I used it as 1. powder cleanser 2. cleansing foam) What I liked: Being organic, there wasn't much irritation except for the slight sensation from the granules (even this was minimal). It felt gentle, and I didn't experience any blemishes. I have atopic skin that easily reacts to allergens, but I had no issues with this product. Points to note when using: I received this as a sample to try. The opening was a bit larger than I expected, making it difficult to control the amount. At first, I thoughtlessly turned the container upside down and shook it, which caused too much product to come out, startling me a bit. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2025
I was hesitant about trying a powder type for the first time, but after seeing great Hwahae reviews and YouTube recommendations, I decided to give it a go. It's absolutely fantastic! The container might seem small for the price, making you think 'Wow, that's expensive...' But actually, being a powder instead of a liquid allows for more precise application, which I find even better. After trying it and loving it, I gave some to my teenage sister and my boyfriend with acne-prone skin - everyone's skin improved!!! Highly recommended! P.S. Hwahae was selling a sample kit for just 3000 won shipping. I used that alone for about a month and a half, so if you're unsure, it's a great way to try it without commitment! I started with the sample and ended up buying the full-size product~ There's not really anything... If I had to nitpick, the sample's lid had a smaller hole which made controlling the amount easier, while the full-size product has a larger opening, sometimes causing too much powder to come out at once. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 30, 2025
What is this product? Haha! I'm leaving a review because I tried a sample while traveling and absolutely loved it. The foam is really rich, and most importantly, its cleansing effectiveness is amazing. It's usually difficult to cleanse thoroughly while traveling, but when I quickly remove my makeup and then lather up with this, there's nothing left on my skin. Plus, it doesn't cause any deep dryness and feels incredibly gentle! The amount is more than I expected - I've been using a small sample bottle for 5 days now and haven't even used half of it. I wish the opening was a bit larger so it would come out more easily. It's hard to control the amount with single-use packaging. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 16, 2024
It lathers up nicely and effectively washes away impurities, which I really appreciated Being a powder, it's hard to control. If you accidentally pour too much, a huge amount comes out. Be careful when using it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 21, 2024
As a woman in my 20s with combination skin, I decided to try this product after hearing good things about powder-type cleansers. One of the great advantages is its versatility - you can adjust the amount of water to customize your cleansing experience. With less water, it has a slightly grainy texture that works like a scrub. Add more water, and it transforms into a gentle cleanser. The best part? After cleansing, my skin feels moisturized without any tightness. It effectively removes impurities and dead skin cells without causing irritation! The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to get the right powder-to-water ratio at first. Also, the grain-like scent might not be everyone's cup of tea. Personally, it wasn't my favorite fragrance. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 15, 2024
I was so curious about this enzyme cleanser! With many reviews, gentle ingredients, and a slightly acidic pH, I decided to give it a try. The container was smaller than expected, but since you don't need to use a lot of powder, it should last quite a while! I've been using it 2-3 times a week as my second cleanse. I was hoping for a bit of a scrub-like sensation, but there's absolutely no irritation! It's very gentle on the skin. To use, wet your face and hands, then take a small amount of powder and gently massage it onto your face, allowing the enzymes to dissolve. Then, rewet your hands and continue cleansing - it foams up beautifully, just like a foam cleanser! If you want more of a scrub effect, use less water so the powder doesn't dissolve as quickly for a slightly rougher texture. After rinsing, my skin feels neither slippery nor tight - just right! I even noticed a subtle glow the next day. Love how simple it is to use! It can be tricky to get the right amount at first. You'll need to experiment to find the perfect quantity for your skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2024
It's compact, making it convenient to carry around. I loved how it lathers up nicely when rubbed with warm water. Being in powder form, it was sometimes tricky to control the amount, which was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 29, 2024
The foam is richer than expected, and there's no deep dryness after cleansing. It has such a lovely, fresh scent... hehe! As other reviewers have mentioned, it's a bit tricky to control the amount you dispense. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2024
On those particularly oily days when I'm wearing makeup, cleansing with this definitely makes my skin less greasy the next day! It's difficult to control the amount of powder, and I experienced some skin irritation. It feels like it damages my skin barrier, so I'm hesitant to use it frequently.
