It brings life to my face, giving me a healthy complexion during these dry days - I find myself reaching for this more often than my blush! It's so convenient to carry around. Even though the staying power isn't the strongest, it only takes 3 seconds to touch up, which is fantastic. The second photo shows the color payoff, while the third shows how it looks when gently blended and fully absorbed. It doesn't completely disappear but maintains a subtle shimmer that only catches the light beautifully.
ConsThere's a slight tendency for pilling, but gently patting it helps it settle back into place!
TipI recommend using this more for facial contouring rather than applying it on the nose or under the eyes.

I've mainly used solid highlighters before, but they often crumbled into powder over time. This one has a soft, creamy texture! The application is super smooth without being too soft, so it seems like it'll last a long time! When I fully extended the stick, I was impressed by its length too. What I love most is that it's not overly flashy, but gives a subtle glow that's just perfect. When applied to the right areas, it creates a beautiful Inner Glow... I've been using it constantly these days.
ConsIt can pill a bit if you apply it when your skin is slightly oily. You might need to be careful when touching up your makeup. But then again, most cosmetics tend to come off easily with oil, so it's somewhat unavoidable.
TipI apply it to my cheekbones, nose bridge, forehead, and chin! It really brings life to my complexion.

It has a natural beige shade that suits all skin types, creating a luminous glow that looks like your own skin.
ConsIt tends to cause slight pilling when applied, so you need to use a very light touch when spreading it on your skin.

I thought the stick would be convenient to swipe directly on the face, but this can cause pilling. You'll need to use your fingers or a brush instead. ※ Scent It's fragrance-free. As I have super sensitive skin, I prefer unscented products. ※ Application & Longevity It applies smoothly. However, the staying power doesn't seem to be very long-lasting. ※ Irritation As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always worried when trying new products, but fortunately, this didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsThe longevity isn't great, and it can pill if not applied correctly. If you apply it before foundation, it's hardly noticeable. You absolutely must use it after foundation. Also, if you apply it incorrectly around the pores, it can make them look very pronounced.
TipInstead of applying the stick directly to your face, which can cause pilling, you should apply it after completing your foundation by gently patting it with your fingers. Even when using fingers, avoid rubbing as it can cause pilling. Using a brush might work well too.

When applying makeup, this highlighter's texture and feel on my forehead and nose bridge are the best I've ever experienced! It glides on smoothly without clumping or feeling excessive. The color is perfect for cool tones! I think the neutral tone would suit any skin type nicely.
ConsThose with oily skin might find it feels a bit rich. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, I notice it tends to mix with foundation or sunscreen and clump up after a while. Also, it's challenging to apply precisely to the inner corners of the eyes due to its size. A brush is absolutely necessary!

I especially love how smoothly it applies and doesn't pill or clump even when layered over makeup.
ConsIf you apply just a little, it feels like you haven't applied anything at all. You might need to layer it on multiple times.
TipWhen applied to the brow bone, nose bridge, and cheekbones, it really makes your facial features pop.

When applied, it melts gently without becoming mushy, and absorbs without pilling, giving a coating-like feel. 📍Color It's a transparent, subtle gold shimmer (The shimmer is very fine and delicate, perfect for a subtle highlight on the nose or under-eye area. When used as a highlight on the cheeks, it gives an elegant, subtle glow, perfect for that glazed donut makeup look!) 📍Scent It's fragrance-free! This makes it great for those with scent sensitivities. 📍Ingredients While I usually don't focus on ingredients for color cosmetics, the ingredients in this are gentle, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin who want to use a highlighter. 📍How to Use Although it's a stick type, don't apply it directly to your face as it might disturb your base makeup. Instead, warm it up on your hand and gently pat it onto the areas you want to highlight! When applied to the most prominent parts of the cheeks, just above the cupid's bow, and under the chin, areas where traditional highlighters can sometimes look heavy, this Hince stick creates an incredibly subtle, healthy-looking glow! 📍Other Benefits It's also very portable, and comes in various types like clear and blush, so I highly recommend it! After trying it, I bought the clear version with my own money. They say it's a cheaper alternative to the Chanel glow stick... but it's luxurious, beautiful, and does it all! Highly recommended for those who don't wear heavy makeup, makeup beginners, and makeup enthusiasts alike!
ConsThe product might get slightly scratched if used directly from the stick, but if you melt it on your hand and pat it on, it looks absolutely beautiful!
TipMake sure to warm it up on your hand and apply it with a patting motion! It pairs perfectly with cream or balm blushes rather than powder ones! When used on the cheekbones, just above the cupid's bow, or on the chin, you can achieve a truly luxurious highlighter glow effect!

It glides on smoothly without any pilling of your base makeup. I'm often too lazy to pat it in after applying, so I just swipe it on quickly, and it still works great! The color isn't stark white, but has a pink undertone that gives you that natural 'born with great skin' look. It's subtly flattering! Despite having super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes when I applied it to my cheekbones and front cheek area. The stick format is also convenient for touch-ups when you're out and about.
ConsThe only downside might be its somewhat short-lasting power...?! Being a balm type, it naturally doesn't last as long as powder highlighters.
TipApplying it with a puff gives an even more seamless, skin-like finish!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsSummary: A subtle glow that's a bit underwhelming for a highlighter? I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers when I was thinking about buying a highlighter. ✔️Application It glides on incredibly smoothly. It feels slightly oily, similar to applying a stick concealer or those Daiso wrinkle sticks, making it easy to apply. ✔️Glow While I appreciate the subtle glow it gives, it might look a bit oily at first glance. The glow reminds me of the sheen you get from sunscreen... which is slightly disappointing for a highlighter! Perhaps because of this, it doesn't last very long... However, its compact size makes it convenient for touch-ups on the go. ✔️Other notes I've always hesitated to buy powder highlighters due to excess fallout, but this stick formula doesn't have any shimmer fallout at all. It seems perfect for highlighter beginners. If you have blemish-free skin, I imagine it would look beautiful applied over sunscreen (unfortunately, I have quite a few blemishes).
ConsThe glow is underwhelming! Not recommended if you're looking for a highlighter that really pops!

If Clear gives a dewy finish, Light offers more of a luminous glow? Since it's firmer than expected, I recommend warming it up in your hands rather than applying directly to your face. Gently pat it on for best results. It's subtler than I thought, giving that 'did I or didn't I?' effect - reminds me of the Lo*is Me*cier powder highlighter. While I love the 'look at my highlighter!' trend like Or*zza, this subtle glow is perfect for everyday, natural looks. You can apply it anywhere you want a bit of radiance without it being overwhelming! * Texture: Slightly firm, similar to stick eyeshadow, doesn't feel heavy on the skin * Application: Smooth, but better to warm up in hands first * Longevity: The glow fades when my combination dehydrated skin gets oily... though this might just be my skin type * Value for money: Great! Seems like it'll last a while.
ConsWhile it comes in a convenient stick form, you might need to warm it up with your fingers to avoid disturbing your base makeup
TipTry applying a small amount where you'd put blush before actually applying your blush. It wasn't overwhelming at all, and actually made my cheeks catch the light beautifully from certain angles.
