  I liked how it felt moisturizing when applied.

  Cons

  If you have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend doing a patch test first. In my case, the more I applied it, the more my skin developed small bumps.

  Pros

  I tried this Donginbi product out of curiosity, as its benefits are well-known. Applying 3-4 layers while patting it in, I found it maintained deep hydration even in dry weather.

  Cons

  This really didn't suit me at all... My face had a burning sensation..? I didn't realize it was because of this product at first. I wanted to keep using it because I liked the brand, but I had to give up..

  It absorbs well and feels absolutely amazing when applied!

  Cons

  Absolutely not recommended for people who run hot. If ginseng or red ginseng doesn't agree with you... I once had a flushing reaction after consuming red ginseng, and this essence caused the same symptoms after just one application. I immediately stopped using it.

  Pros

  Packed with nourishment. Thanks to its simple ingredients, I could easily identify what might not agree with my skin even if it didn't suit me overall.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, when I used it, my face developed a burning sensation. I never experienced this with Donginbi oil, but surprisingly, the Single Essence was less compatible with my skin. In the end, it seemed to stress my skin more, so I had to stop using it. This product might be better suited for those whose skin responds well to red ginseng.

  Pros

  Texture - quite thin and runny. I usually get occasional blemishes but my skin rarely flares up badly. Given the good ingredients and higher price point, I trusted this product and decided to give it a try.

  Cons

  My skin became itchy with hive-like bumps appearing. It felt rough and my complexion completely turned. While the scent was like ginseng when sniffing the product, the fragrance was unpleasant when applying it.

  Tip

  Everyone's skin reacts differently to products, but after trying various items, I've never had such a bad reaction. I don't think I'll be able to use this one.

  Pros

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. • First, I love that the scent isn't overpowering. Sometimes other products have such strong fragrances that they give me a headache, but this one has a subtle red ginseng scent that almost disappears once applied to the face. • Second, it has a nice viscous texture. Before using it, I thought it would be completely watery, but I appreciate that it has a non-runny, slightly thick consistency. • Third, it's not sticky at all. Occasionally, after using other first essences or toners, I have to fan my face due to the stickiness, but this product layers well with others without any tacky feeling. • Fourth, it's gentle. I have extremely sensitive skin that gets red and swollen if I use the wrong product, but this felt just like my regular skincare from the first use - no irritation at all, which I really loved.

  Cons

  • Blemishes As I mentioned in the positives, I'm not sure if it's because of my sensitive skin, but I rarely get blemishes. However, I did notice one or two popping up while using this product. I deducted one star for this issue.

  Tip

  This product alone is too drying, so you definitely need to layer it with other more hydrating products. When I used this product before my usual routine and then applied makeup, I noticed a natural glow to my skin, which I loved. If you're a fan of that natural Inner Glow, I think you'll enjoy using this product in your routine.

  Before receiving the product, I had high hopes based on the ingredients. As someone with dry, sensitive skin in their 30s, I was excited to see significant results...

  Cons

  First off, I couldn't detect the subtle ginseng scent at all. Whether it was an allergic reaction or something else, my face broke out in redness and blemishes. It was stinging... Thinking it might be a coincidence, I tried it again the next day with the same results. Just to be sure, I applied it to my arm and experienced the same reaction there too. The initial joy of being selected for The Hwahae Testers to try a promising product was short-lived. I had to discontinue use.
