The price is a bit high. Considering the ginseng ingredient, it's not unreasonably expensive, but as someone who used to use mostly drugstore products, it feels pricey to me. Because of its watery consistency, it disappears quickly when you shake the bottle, which makes it seem even more expensive.

I've been using this since it was released. I've finished the full-size product and now I'm using the sample that came with it, so I only have a photo of the sample, unfortunately. I'll add a photo of the full-size product later if I remember when I open a new one. I really dislike sticky products, but this has a watery consistency that absorbs quickly and feels amazing to use. I don't like applying many products, so I use this as a toner replacement. It's not one of those products that feels like it does nothing - I have dry skin, so I apply it twice, and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. The ginseng scent is subtle and doesn't bother me. I didn't realize it before, but I actually like the ginseng smell! A friend I gifted it to also loved it.

First off, the red ginseng scent is overpowering. It's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it situation, and I'm in the 'hate it' camp. Even though it's a sample, it's quite large, and I'm concerned about the wide opening that dispenses too much product. For my oily skin, it feels heavy despite the thin consistency. It also leaves a rich feeling on the skin.

I tried a large sample from the department store. It's an incredibly lightweight water essence, but I was surprised by how moisturizing, firming, and nourishing it is despite its thin consistency. Don't be fooled by its texture!

The texture isn't as rich as I expected, it feels more like a light exfoliating toner. For the price, it doesn't seem to provide strong hydration.

It absorbs well. I'm using this in multiple layers for a great layering effect!

At this price point, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm already halfway through the bottle, but once it's finished, I plan to switch back to my previous product.

I get that it contains ginseng, but for a product called 'Single Essence', there's surprisingly little information about the ingredients. How was it extracted and what exactly is in it? I've tried many essences in this price range, but I can't find any standout features here. There are plenty of options at this price point that offer both daily use and targeted benefits. If I had to name a positive, I guess it has a runny texture and absorbs quickly?

It makes my skin so smooth! It's not sticky and absorbs quickly! Even when my skin is super sensitive and everything else stings, this doesn't cause any irritation!

In winter, using this alone doesn't provide enough richness. You definitely need to pair it with an oil or a product that has more emollient ingredients.

This essence has a water-like consistency, similar to the Pitera Essence. It's made with red ginseng, and when I use it, I don't experience any irritation. Instead, I notice my complexion looks a bit brighter.

I love using this with Donginbi oil - it feels like you're getting both absorption and nourishment at the same time! The left side shows how it looks when applied together with the oil.

While it's not oily, you might feel a slight tightness if you don't immediately follow up with the next step in your routine.

This was my first time using a product to apply after cleansing but before toner, and I felt it really enhanced the adherence of subsequent products. It clings so well to the skin, giving the impression that it's pulling in the ingredients from the next steps of your routine. I personally detected a fresh, grassy scent which I found quite pleasant and invigorating.
