ConsIt's a bit pricey. Those with oily skin may find it a bit too moisturizing, causing a shiny appearance.

It contains oils, so it can be used well even on dry skin. The fragrance is also nice. The texture is very watery.
ConsThere wasn't really any disappointing point, but since the formula is very watery, I used up the 30ml bottle quickly.

The scent is also nice. It's not overly oily either. It applies smoothly..?
ConsI bought the starter kit because it said it would soothe the skin😭, but I didn't really see any effects. I'm glad I just bought the sample! If I had bought the full-size, it would have been a waste! Since it has oil ingredients, I started getting little bumps on my face. It was hard to see any calming or regenerative effects. I didn't really feel like the redness was soothed, and the whitening effect wasn't great either😂
TipIt's separated into two layers (oil and moisture), so you must shake it well before using🙌🏻!

It also applies well, which I like.
ConsIt feels a bit slippery, but I actually find it moisturizing and fine.
TipAfter applying another ampoule, using this on top seems to lock in a bit more moisture.

It's a holy grail product for me. I've been using it for about a month, and here are the results: 1. The severe dryness that bothers dry skin has disappeared. The difference between using it and not using it is significant. The winter dryness has definitely gone away, so my makeup applies well. 2. The fragrance is close to unscented, so there's no aversion to it. 3. The texture doesn't feel sticky and absorbs well, which is great! 4. The ingredients are good... Isoi, well, there's nothing to say about the ingredients.
Cons1. There's a bit of an oily feel, so by lunchtime or dinnertime, my skin becomes a bit shiny... 2. Due to the oily feel, my makeup tends to break down a little bit.
TipFor those with oily skin, it would be good to use it at night before going to bed!

The refreshing fragrance is so soothing that I feel great every time I apply it and it envelops my face. 2. Even though it's a type with separated oil layers, the absorption is better than water-based ampoules. I usually dislike oily products and heavy textures, but I really love the feel of this ampoule. 3. After using this product, I no longer experience any trouble, including the white bumps that used to appear occasionally. 4. Instead of a heavy cream, the combination of this ampoule and a light cream actually balances my oil and moisture levels, improving dryness, and it allows me to simplify my skincare routine.
ConsI've never had this issue with other products, but for some reason, I often forget to close the lid tightly after using this ampoule. 😭 Shaking and mixing it before use is not a major step, but it's a bit of a hassle. When I use it with a creamy, oily moisturizer, it leaves my skin feeling overly oily and dry at the same time. So it doesn't seem to pair well with heavier, anti-aging type products. A light, water-based ampoule and a low-oil cream work best for me as a good combination.

I've almost used up a whole bottle, so I plan to repurchase it. My skin type is dry with redness and acne. The formula has oil in it, but it's very watery. It flows quickly, so I pump it onto my cheeks one side at a time, then apply it to my forehead and chin. Trying to apply it all at once makes it run everywhere. The scent is a light herbal aroma - not too polarizing. It's not strong at all. I can see the effects after just one use. The redness doesn't disappear immediately, but the blemishes become smaller! Since it has oil, it leaves my skin with the right amount of oiliness, but I feel like it lacks moisture, so I add the COSRX Propolis Ampoule afterwards.
ConsThe formula flows too easily, so it's hard to control. The bottle is fragile, so you have to store it upright.
TipI'm currently using the Dokdo Toner, Aromatica Tea Tree Calming Gel, COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, COSRX Propolis Ampoule, and the Numbuzin No.2 Real Ceramide Moisturizing Cream.

There were no breakouts, and it was not irritating to my skin. The scent is one that anyone could use without aversion, and it glides on smoothly, requiring quick application, but it applies well nonetheless.
ConsI would consider repurchasing, but not at the full retail price.

It sounds like you've gone through a cycle of using very lightweight skincare, feeling tightness and then overcompensating with excess oil production. Now you're trying to find the right balance, but it's difficult to distinguish between dryness-induced oil and excess oil from over-nourishing. I would suggest continuing to focus on lightweight, hydrating products that target dryness, while monitoring how your skin responds. It's great that you've recognized the importance of maintaining that balance. The enlarged pores and uneven texture are also a concern, but you're right that without professional treatments, those can be challenging to fully resolve on your own. Don't be too hard on yourself - just focus on maintaining the health of your skin as best you can. The redness and flushing seem to be a significant issue for you. The underlying causes sound complex, from the natural ruddiness, to lingering acne scarring, to a compromised skin barrier. Addressing the redness and improving your skin's overall resilience should be a priority. I'm glad to hear that adjusting your cleansing routine has helped reduce the extreme redness you were experiencing. Continuing to focus on repairing your skin barrier and using soothing, calming ingredients could make a big difference in minimizing that persistent redness and unevenness. With patience and the right products, I'm hopeful you can find a routine that helps manage these concerns.
ConsI can understand the inconvenience of having to go through the multiple steps to properly dispense and apply this ampoule. The layered texture with the oil and watery components does require a bit more effort compared to simpler formulas. While it's an extra step, I'm glad you're able to manage the process and find it tolerable. It's disappointing to hear that you didn't experience significant benefits in terms of soothing and reducing redness. Given the marketing claims and reviews, I can see why you had higher expectations. Since this is more of a skincare concern rooted in your natural complexion rather than acute sensitivity, the results may be more gradual and subtle. I appreciate you providing that helpful context about your unique skin type and challenges. You're absolutely right that the ampoule may work better for those dealing with reactive, easily flushed skin versus your more persistent, inherent redness. Do continue using it and share an update if you notice any improvements over time. The experiences of others with similar skin profiles could also be insightful. Overall, it sounds like you're being thoughtful and pragmatic in evaluating this product based on your specific needs. Maintaining that balanced perspective, even when a product doesn't live up to the hype, is really admirable. I hope you're able to find other solutions, whether through this ampoule or other targeted treatments, to help address the redness and unevenness you're dealing with.
TipThat's a great application method - using about 5 drops, focusing on the forehead, cheeks, and then spreading it across the rest of your face. Mixing a couple drops into your lightweight, non-occlusive moisturizer also sounds like a nice way to get the benefits while maintaining a fresh, comfortable finish. That's a smart approach, especially for oily skin types like yourself who prefer more refreshing creams. I'm glad to hear the combined application with your moisturizer resulted in a nice, supple final look and feel. That's a great tip for others with oily or combination skin, especially during transitional weather when the skin may need a bit more nourishment. Experimenting with layering and mixing products can really help find the right balance. Thanks for sharing your specific usage routine - it's helpful for understanding how this ampoule can be effectively incorporated into different skincare regimens.
