I thought I should try using an oil-based ampoule since my skin gets too dry in the winter, and after looking around, I purchased it... It's a holy grail product for me. I've been using it for about a month, and here are the results: 1. The severe dryness that bothers dry skin has disappeared. The difference between using it and not using it is significant. The winter dryness has definitely gone away, so my makeup applies well. 2. The fragrance is close to unscented, so there's no aversion to it. 3. After a good night's sleep, my skin felt so smooth and supple!! On days when my skin felt particularly rough, tight, or dry, applying this product and then sleeping on it, I could intuitively feel my skin's texture improve, like a baby's skin, the next day.
Cons
Right after application, there's a greasy, oily feeling that floats on top ㅠㅠ It takes time to absorb, and I definitely don't recommend wearing makeup on top of this product! It creates a barrier-like feeling on the skin, so I can't guarantee good makeup adhesion..
Tip
My secret tip for using this product is to apply it right after showering, gently pressing it into the skin with my palms, then mixing a drop or two into my moisturizer and applying that before bed!! You have a lot of heat on your face. Mist is essential. Be careful of dryness! No matter what you use, it always feels tight, but when you use the cica ampoule, it's unbelievably not tight at all - it's so moisturizing and great.
Cons
It's really great, but the price is a burden to stock up and use regularly. In general, I think cosmetics that are expensive are for trial products, not daily items! I'm currently looking for an alternative ampoule.
