It's great for regulating moisture balance. This alone can replace the need for a cream.

It stings. It stings too much. I was using it expecting the benefits of the centella ingredients to protect the skin barrier, but I don't understand the point if it stings so much.

Personally, I liked it before the renewal, but now that it's been renewed, it's not great anymore.
Cons
I don't understand why they added allergen-causing ingredients just for the fragrance. I bought it without knowing it had been renewed, and my skin didn't calm down like it used to, and it stung, so when I checked the ingredients, I realized it was causing an allergic reaction and hurting me.. I have no intention of repurchasing.

Pros
I have a skin type that often experiences trouble in the T-zone. I was looking for an ampoule and found one, purchasing it for around 26,000 won for 30ml. Since I've almost used it up, I'd like to leave a review. ❤Spreadability❤ Being an ampoule, it has a thin consistency and flows very well. It also contains oils, so the spreadability is quite good. 🧡Absorption🧡 It absorbs faster than expected. The separated oil layer also seems to create a thin film on the skin. 💛Moisturizing Power💛 I had quite severe inner dryness, but after using it, the inner dryness has significantly reduced. Honestly, the days I used it were much better than the days I didn't. 💚Recommended Skin Type💚 It should be suitable for most skin types, except for extremely oily skin (in my personal opinion).
Cons
I didn't really experience any breakouts. However, when I had blemishes or pimples, it stung quite a bit when I applied it. So it's best to avoid those areas. As mentioned earlier, since it contains oil components, I wouldn't recommend it for extremely oily skin types.
Tip
Apply 2 drops on the forehead, 2 drops on each cheek, and a small amount on the chin, then spread it evenly.

Pros
The Hwahae Trial Reviewer was the perfect ampoule for me!! My skin tends to be very oily and dehydrated, so I use different ampoules for different seasons. However, the Sica-go Effect Ampoule works great for all 4 seasons. I'm now on my 4th bottle and I always stock up during sales - it's a real gem! My skin gets so oily that using just a hydrating essence and a matte foundation makes it feel dry, itchy, and by the evening, the products and sebum get all clumped up and messy. It was a real struggle... When I first started using the ampoule, it felt a bit irritating and caused some breakouts (since I don't usually apply many products). So I started using the ampoule every other day, layered under my hydrating essence. The initial breakouts soon settled, and as I got used to it, my skin texture improved dramatically. The dryness and tightness went away, and the oiliness was delayed. Now in the drier fall/winter weather, I apply it lightly in the morning and double up at night. When I wake up, my skin feels so smooth and supple, with no flakiness or tightness. It's a holy grail product for me.
Cons
I have combination-sensitive skin, so I usually only use toner and essence, and avoid other products. In the beginning, using the ampoule did cause some irritation and breakouts, but taking a few days' break and then reintroducing it helped. Whenever I do get breakouts now, using the ampoule helps calm them down within a day.
Tip
With my combination-sensitive skin, I've been paring down my skincare routine to just toner and essence, both of which are hydrating. On days when my skin needs more soothing or is feeling dry, I'll use the ampoule - just 5 drops on my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. If it's an especially dry day, I'll apply it twice. This way, I don't have to worry about my skin at all - no oiliness, no itchiness, it's so comfortable! This ampoule is an absolute essential for me in the fall and winter!!

This ampoule is quite moisturizing, and my skin feels brighter and clearer for about the first week of use.
Cons
Although this is marketed for sensitive skin, I've found that the centella and madecassoside don't work well for everyone. After using it daily, my whole face became reddened, itchy, and irritated... not just breakouts, but my entire complexion was disrupted.
Tip
If you're sensitive to madecassoside, I'd recommend using this ampoule with toners and creams that don't contain centella. That way you can still benefit from the moisturizing effects without the potential irritation.
