Now I mix it in a 1:1 ratio with another serum for application.
ConsDue to its high concentration, it caused blemishes and my skin reacted badly. However, mixing it with another product worked fine.

I envy those who found this product suitable and saw brightening effects. It is moisturizing, I'll give it that.
ConsGiven the high niacinamide content, I had high hopes for its brightening effects when I bought this product, so my disappointment is significant. Those with super sensitive skin should avoid this... The ingredients seemed mild, so I applied it confidently, but small blemishes started popping up everywhere. Despite claims of brightening effects, I tried it for about two weeks but saw no results. Due to the breakouts, I can't use it on my face anymore. I'm now trying it on my underarms, but even there, the brightening effect is... non-existent.

I found this one on sale on the official website and started using it. Compared to the lower concentration that left my skin dry, this one felt more hydrating and gave my skin a nice bounce!
ConsHowever, I think it was a mistake to assume that a higher concentration would automatically be better. I should have carefully considered the concentration and formulation that suits my skin... Unfortunately, it turned out to be more irritating and caused blemishes.
TipIf this doesn't work for you, I recommend trying the Cos@ BHA Niacinamide 20% Zinc 4% Ampoule. I switched to that and it's much better! Also, I highly recommend the Leegeehaam Niacinamide Serum! It has 20% niacinamide plus panthenol.

While it's not immediately noticeable after application, it definitely helps makeup adhere better when applied.
ConsThere's occasional slight tingling, and with daily use, it can cause some small bumps to appear.

I got the 1% Retinol Treatment, and this product too, as it seemed promising with less irritation than retinol (I checked the clinical data). The application is nice, and there's no particular scent. Just note that the volume is quite small.
ConsInitially, I alternated this with retinol (once a week), but I started getting blemishes. Big ones kept appearing, so I stopped using it, and they subsided. I had huge pimples, two or three at a time, on my chin, cheeks, and forehead. It took quite a while to get rid of them. I think the main culprit was the Retinol Treatment (it says an adjustment period is needed), and this product seems to be an accomplice. Even though I don't have sensitive skin, this feels a bit strong. I won't repurchase. It's also too expensive. And for pores that are already enlarged, cosmetics seem to have minimal effect... Though I already knew this, I always end up buying products thinking 'this one will work'.
TipThe discounts during promotions seem quite substantial, around 20%! I think there are also discounts for signing up. Make sure to register on the website for the discount.

Recently, I switched to a milder BHA Liquid that's now available domestically. To address my main concerns of pores and complexion, I decided to try the Clinical Niacinamide 20% Treatment. After about 10 days of use, while I haven't noticed any dramatic changes yet, I do feel that my skin texture and tone seem more even when I wake up in the morning after applying it at night. I've just learned about the benefits of niacinamide in detail. Its main functions are improving skin barrier, reducing inflammation and blemishes, and brightening. It also helps with elasticity (wrinkles), acts as an antioxidant, protects against UV damage, and regulates sebum production. However, it doesn't seem to have a significant effect on pores. For pore concerns, you might want to consider ingredients like squalane, jojoba oil, or retinol. Overall, niacinamide is clearly an excellent ingredient with a wide range of benefits - it's a must-have if you want to improve your skin.
ConsThe price is a bit high compared to other products, likely due to the high concentration of niacinamide. However, considering it's a concentrated product meant to be used in small amounts, it's reasonable. Initially, I applied too much all over my face, which caused irritation and led to small pimples in several areas. I had to stop using it for a couple of days. After that, I started using just one or two drops with the dropper, spreading it thinly, or mixing it with serums or creams, which worked much better. I'm currently using a 10% product. I find myself hesitant to use the 20% when my skin feels sensitive, fearing it might cause irritation. It's recommended to start with 2% niacinamide, then progress to 4% for acne-prone skin or 5-10% for normal skin.
TipFor sensitive skin, applying too much can actually irritate the skin. I noticed a slight improvement in skin tone and texture when using it after the BHA Liquid toner from the same company for pore and dead skin cell management. When applying to the whole face, use only a drop or two from the dropper, spread thinly, or mix with serums, essences, or creams. I also recommend applying a thin layer after toner, then using a beauty device over a sheet mask to enhance absorption.
