It has good absorption and surprisingly little irritation. • I saw effects in improving skin texture.
Cons• As the ampoule color gradually darkens over time after opening, I tend to use it up quickly, leading to excessive usage when applied alone ~> After use, there is a problem with makeup sliding off. • When using it for the first time, if the interval between applications is too short, it seems to cause irritation.
Tip• During the usage period, chemical exfoliants with acidic ingredients seemed to work better than strong physical exfoliants! • For first-time users, try gradually increasing the amount and frequency of use. I had previous experience using The Ordinary Niacinamide, so as a sensitive skin type, I adapted to it relatively quickly.

These days, basic skincare products are being launched by large corporations and small businesses alike, both domestically and internationally. Even pharmaceutical companies are now making basic skincare products, and there are truly so many brands out there. I've used many different brands, but I've returned to Pola Choice. Previously, I had wrongly used a shampoo with poor ingredients and suffered from cystic acne for a long time as a result. But after using this product, my skin has really improved a lot. The textural irregularities and cystic acne on my jawline, forehead, and chin have been resolved, and my overall skin texture has become smoother and more even.
Cons- Fragrance The fragrance is a bit unpleasant, perhaps because it's unscented and just the natural scent of the ingredients. But this can be both a downside and an upside - there's no need for added fragrance in a basic skincare product. - Texture The color is a very deep brown. I really love the niacinamide ingredient, and have been using basic products with this ingredient from other brands as well. But I've never seen such a dark color before. I'm curious if this is just the natural color of the high 20% concentration of this ingredient. I generally avoid using dark-colored basic skincare products on my face, as there have been cases of them leaving a visible residue. Fortunately, it didn't actually darken my skin tone. - Absorption After fully absorbing, over time a white powdery residue appears on the face. If left as is, this white residue will start to pill and flake off. So I have to make sure to apply a hydrating moisturizer as the last step after using this. This is why I absolutely cannot use this during the day. - Usage At first, it felt a bit stinging. Even after my skin adjusted, it still felt a bit drying and irritating when applied. So I'd recommend those with sensitive skin to do a patch test first before using this.

Even though I have sensitive skin, I've adapted well to the 10% and can use it without any skin irritation. Compared to the 10%, my skin feels a bit more supple and hydrated. I've heard that the formulation is more important than the concentration, and the lack of skin irritation despite the high concentration has made me trust Paulas Choice even more.
ConsThe rich texture may cause makeup to cake when using it as a daytime base.
TipIt pairs well with retinol or pure vitamin C. 👍🏻
