Pros
After trying many other brands, I've come back to Pola Choice!! These days, basic skincare products are being launched by large corporations and small businesses alike, both domestically and internationally. Even pharmaceutical companies are now making basic skincare products, and there are truly so many brands out there. I've used many different brands, but I've returned to Pola Choice. Previously, I had wrongly used a shampoo with poor ingredients and suffered from cystic acne for a long time as a result. But after using this product, my skin has really improved a lot. The textural irregularities and cystic acne on my jawline, forehead, and chin have been resolved, and my overall skin texture has become smoother and more even.
Cons
- Fragrance The fragrance is a bit unpleasant, perhaps because it's unscented and just the natural scent of the ingredients. But this can be both a downside and an upside - there's no need for added fragrance in a basic skincare product. - Texture The color is a very deep brown. I really love the niacinamide ingredient, and have been using basic products with this ingredient from other brands as well. But I've never seen such a dark color before. I'm curious if this is just the natural color of the high 20% concentration of this ingredient. I generally avoid using dark-colored basic skincare products on my face, as there have been cases of them leaving a visible residue. Fortunately, it didn't actually darken my skin tone. - Absorption After fully absorbing, over time a white powdery residue appears on the face. If left as is, this white residue will start to pill and flake off. So I have to make sure to apply a hydrating moisturizer as the last step after using this. This is why I absolutely cannot use this during the day. - Usage At first, it felt a bit stinging. Even after my skin adjusted, it still felt a bit drying and irritating when applied. So I'd recommend those with sensitive skin to do a patch test first before using this.

My skin feels so soft and smooth, I'm so happy about it. I was worried because it's 20% concentration, but it's actually gentle^^. To be honest, I don't really notice the whitening effect because I get regular picosecond laser treatments at the dermatologist, so my skin tone is always a shade brighter. But I'm using this product during the breaks from the laser treatments, for maintenance purposes.

The skin texture becomes incredibly smooth and the pores are noticeably tightened. I stopped repurchasing it because it became too expensive, but after about two months of not using it, I noticed a significant difference. When I wasn't using it, I could see my pores getting a bit enlarged. As soon as I started using it again, my skin became smooth, and while the pores didn't disappear completely, I could feel a renewed vitality. In my life, retinol and niacinamide are the only skincare products that have truly delivered results for me... Even with my contact dermatitis, I was able to use this without any irritation.
Cons
The color changes over time. The scent also has a slightly grassy smell.

I've been using it for the second time. My skin is combination with frequent breakouts, but after using it, my pores have become smaller and my skin texture has become smoother. Since it contains 20% niacinamide, even using it once shows noticeable changes. It absorbs quickly after application, brightens my skin tone, and fades my blemishes significantly. I don't use it daily, only at night. During the day, I make sure to apply sunscreen properly.
Cons
The moisture level is not high, so I'd recommend using it with a hydrating ampoule or another moisturizing cream if you have dry skin like mine. It's quite expensive, so it's best to buy it when it's on sale.
Tip

My pores on my nose and around it have become quite enlarged, so I purchased and have been using this product, hoping it would help.
