I've been using this product for three years now, ever since I first tried it in Australia! It's great to apply at night - my skin feels wonderfully hydrated the next morning. During the day, I've found it works well to mix a drop or two with my sunscreen. I can't really think of any downsides. It didn't cause any blemishes either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 27, 2020
It's gentle and my skin feels comfortable. Even though I have sensitive skin, there's no itching or blemishes. After applying toner, using just this keeps my skin hydrated. The price is quite high. I wish they would have a sale. Nevertheless, it's an excellent oil. I apply it to the back of my hands and neck right after washing my face. It feels so soft and smooth, I love it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 14, 2019
I bought this out of curiosity because it's an antioxidant~ Here's my review after finishing the whole bottle!! As a rosehip oil enthusiast, I always think Trilogy products are great. I love using the dropper to dispense it generously onto my hands, gently warming it up, and then applying it to my face. It's so relaxing and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated! While I think this product is really good, I can't ignore the value for money aspect. In terms of cost-effectiveness, I'd give a higher score to Manyo Factory's rosehip oil! There's not much difference in ingredients, and they're both blends, but if we're talking about bang for your buck, it makes more sense to buy two bottles of Manyo Factory! I apply it to my face, neck, and chest. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 19, 2019
Scent - Boiled pea aroma? A hint of fishiness, perhaps? Reminds me of the bean scent you'd catch at an izakaya. Application - Glides on smoothly, non-sticky with a soft, powdery finish. Absorption - Being an oil, it doesn't have that quick-absorbing feel. Moisturizing power - Excellent! Keeps the skin hydrated. Recommended skin types - Dry, Normal Volume - 20ml 1. The scent was really off-putting. It's like the smell of boiled beans, you know? Like green peas. Every time I use it, the fragrance makes me uncomfortable. However, the smell does fade after application. Still, that strange scent when applying... ( Ĭ ^ Ĭ ) 2. Even without pressing the dropper, it keeps dripping, causing me to spill a few drops on the floor regularly or leaving a drop or two on the bottle each time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 24, 2019
I use this product after my mist toner and finish with a facial cream on top. My skin type completely changed to very dry when I moved to Australia, so I was struggling until I heard good things about this product and decided to buy it. Not only does it keep my skin hydrated and help my makeup apply smoothly, but the best part is that it really helps with brightening! While I'm not sure if the rest of my body has tanned from sun exposure (honestly, I often skip sunscreen on my body out of laziness and just quickly apply some emulsion or body mist after showering), my face looks noticeably brighter even without makeup after cleansing. The difference is really apparent even with a bare face! I think I'll work on brightening my body next! I'm not sure if there are any downsides. I started using this product based on a recommendation from someone with extremely dry skin, so it worked well for my dry skin type. However, I haven't received recommendations from people with other skin types, so I can't speak to how it might work for them. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 15, 2019
I applied this to my belly and face as it's said to be good for stretch marks during pregnancy. It was great for reducing dryness on my belly. I liked it even more on my face - it's fragrance-free so I had no aversion to it, and with consistent use, I felt my skin really improved and my complexion seemed to brighten a bit. Especially when mixed with a hydrating cream, it didn't cause any deep dryness and immediately locked in moisture, keeping my skin hydrated until the next morning! The quantity seems small for the price... I used it up really quickly. It's probably best to buy this when it's on sale at places like drugstores. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2018
After a simple toner application, it feels as moisturizing as if I've applied multiple essences and other products. You can sense the nourishment gradually absorbing into the skin. It's also great to apply any leftover product on your legs or arms after using it on your face! Well, I wouldn't recommend applying a drop directly on the forehead. Somehow, after applying a drop and spreading it, if you wait a bit, you get this feeling like something keeps getting into your eyes. I think it might be slowly dripping down. Because of this, I just lightly brush what's left on my cheeks over my forehead. While it's good to apply it regularly, you'll notice a real difference if you pay extra attention to applying it the day after using a face mask. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2018
It's great that despite its excellent hydration, it's not sticky or heavy! The absorption is also quite fast. It's suitable for combination skin, and when applied before bed, it keeps the skin moisturized until the next morning, making makeup application smooth. I was expecting a rose scent, but it was almost unscented. I wish the volume was a bit larger too. If you mix it with your night cream before bed, you can experience an effect similar to using a mask, feeling even more hydrated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 6, 2018
It nourishes your skin during seasonal changes, keeping it moisturized and radiant. Rosehip oil is always my go-to skincare love. I didn't find anything particularly lacking while using it. The texture is quite satisfying. On extremely dry days, I mix a drop or two with my moisturizer. This helps boost hydration and gives my skin a beautiful glow. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAug 14, 2018
This face oil is deeply hydrating and preserves its natural scent without artificial fragrances. It's an upgraded version of rosehip oil, enhanced with various antioxidant ingredients to boost its anti-aging properties. It's incredibly moisturizing. While those who are wary of oil-based products might not prefer this texture, it's excellent for balancing oil and moisture levels when mixed with gels or emulsions - just a few drops will do, except for very oily skin types. It aids in antioxidation and smoothing dead skin cells. Consistent application of rosehip oil is said to help with brightening and reducing dark spots. Personally, I've tried Sidmool products, and this one has a very similar scent, texture, and hydrating power... after all, they're both rosehip oils! It doesn't leave an excessively greasy feeling, making it suitable for oily skin types during winter and spring. The light-blocking glass bottle prevents the rosehip oil from oxidizing, and the L-shaped applicator allows for more precise application, which I found quite convenient! The Trilogy brand itself is a bit high-end, so the price point was somewhat expensive. For dry skin: Toner - Nivea or moisturizer - 3 drops of rosehip oil. Applying it this way keeps your skin comfortable all day without any feeling of tightness.
