Mix a couple of drops with your toner and apply to your skin for a non-greasy, deeply hydrating effect. As someone with combination skin, I felt a bit dry indoors even in summer, so I decided to add an oil to my skincare routine - and I'm quite satisfied with the results. This product helps address the deep dryness and dehydration that hyaluronic acid and other serums/ampoules couldn't quite tackle. It's worth noting that once opened, you should use it within 6 months and store it in a cool, dark place. Also, since the vitamin A in rosehip oil is sensitive to UV rays, always finish with sunscreen. These days, I'm concerned about smile lines and dehydrated skin, so I use it morning and night. Any leftover product works wonders on the neck too. Be careful not to apply too much, as it can stain clothes and surfaces yellow. Controlling the amount is crucial (for me, 2-3 drops mixed with toner was perfect - it didn't make my skin overly shiny, just left a nice glow). Avoid wearing light-colored clothes, especially around the neckline, as they can get stained yellow. Unfortunately, if staining occurs, there's no way to remove it. The method that worked best for me was mixing 2-3 drops with toner. Remember to always finish your morning skincare routine with sunscreen! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 2, 2019
First off, I was thrilled by how incredibly gentle the ingredients are! I had no idea there were zero harmful components until I checked on Hwahae - the ingredient list is absolutely top-notch! As someone with combination skin, this oil was perfect for me. It wasn't too sticky and felt refreshingly light to use. Compared to regular oils, it had a superior finish. After applying my basic skincare like moisturizer, I'd pat this around my cheeks as a final step, and it really locked in the hydration, tackling that deep dryness! I think it's an excellent oil for sealing in moisture during winter. My skin isn't super sensitive, so I didn't experience any blemishes. Instead, I was really satisfied with how long-lasting the hydration was! The only downside was that the quantity seemed a bit small for the price. It's definitely less than your typical face oil, so I had to be quite sparing with it... This oil blends beautifully with other skincare basics like creams or essences. It's not sticky and feels light, so it paired well with most of my skincare products. I think it's perfect for mixing into your routine during winter to combat that deep dryness! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 6, 2018
The scent is lovely and it absorbs well. Mixing this product with your regular moisturizer helps solve deep dryness issues. Or, you can use it alone after toner, and your skin feels rejuvenated. It's perfect for travel, fitting easily in a makeup pouch, so I always pack it for trips. I really wish I could keep a larger size at home, but unfortunately the volume is limited. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 19, 2018
This product maximizes the strengths of oils while overcoming their drawbacks. Being made with organic rosehip oil, the ingredients are trustworthy. I've heard that the antioxidant properties have been upgraded compared to traditional rosehip oils, which might be why my skin feels like it's improving. (Perhaps it's the Pygmalion effect?) Moreover, despite being an oil, it's not sticky and absorbs lightly. After application, my skin feels smoother and the deep dryness in my face has decreased. It's a product that finishes with a fresh feel, making it suitable even for summer use without feeling heavy. 1. The name is difficult... I have to search for it every time I want to find it. It would be nice if it had a nickname, or something simpler like 'Rosehip Oil Plus'. 2. Also, there's no rose scent, but I was surprised to see reviews here saying it does have a rose scent... It's either unscented or just smells like oil to me. Is my nose broken? From the packaging to the oil color, it gives off a vibe that matches well with roses. If it had a rose scent, it would have aromatherapy benefits too, but I'm one person who's against adding artificial fragrances unnecessarily. I always massage my face after applying the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant Plus. It doesn't spread as much as regular oils, so it doesn't last as long, but I use a galvanic massage device to gently work it into my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2017
Thank you so much for sharing all these useful tips, Director *Lee. As you recommended on your YouTube channel, I've been layering the First Essence and using it as a spray. Although you originally suggested the original product, I ended up purchasing this one because I was intrigued by the antioxidant function. I'm glad to see that my skin's dehydration is gradually improving. The price doesn't seem very affordable considering the volume. 😢 Also, I think it might be a bit heavy to use on its own. I purchased this online, but if you have a chance to visit Australia, be sure to pick some up there! ^^;;
